I was told by a regular customer of mine about this car lot. Little skeptical about going out there. Finally got the notion to go check them out. Stormy was very helpful explaining how the business works. My credit is beyond horrible. My wife picked out a kia that she loved. After doing some paperwork and the kids going crazy we drove home in a new vehicle. Stormy and Mike are awesome people! I'm definitely looking forward to another purchase for myself. Thank you guys for being so helpful and honest.Update: Just got a second car today! Once again I'm extremely satisfied with everything. Since I've been making payments on the first car, my credit score has gone up. They really do report to the credit bureau. In fact stormy showed me the proof. I recommend them to anyone who is credit challenged.

I had a great experience here. Everyone in the service department was super friendly and helpful. I got 4 new tires installed and mounted, a brake bleed and an oil change for no money down and a very reasonable weekly payment! All around positive experience. I highly recommend John 3:16. I will be going back!

John 3:16 is awesome. I've been a customer roughly six months. They do everything. Payments are done automatically. Plates and stickers are gotten for you so you don't have to stand in line at the BMV. They can do all types of work on your car and let you finance the work, including tires. They always have very nice cars, and they don't stay on the lot long. They're all good people and they won't put you in anything you can't afford. I highly recommend them if you need a good reliable car.

First review was removed: I am completely upset with John 3:16 and the service they have given me. I definitely would not recommend them to anyone. Doug the sales guy was very nice and I appreciate all his help but the way I was treated by the main mechanic Mike was so unprofessional. I purchased the vehicle from them 3 weeks ago on Friday, December 21, 2018. Two week in of me having the vehicle I called them and told them that my over heating sensor light was on, and he said okay bring it up here when you get a chance and don t drive it when the sensor light is on. I take it up there and he tells me he ran 3 test on the vehicle and it looks like the car is in the beginning stages of a blown head gasket. He mentioned that they could fix it for $50 dollars an hour, plus parts and finance the work for me so I didn t have to pay it out of pocket. Then he mentioned that he could put me in another car and he would put the mechanic bill on with the new down payment for the new car. I disagreed with both options because I m not responsible for the blown head gasket because I ve only had the car 3 weeks and have only put 1000 miles on the vehicle. I drive everyday from Amelia to Milford to go to work. If you do the math, 1000 miles divided by 21 days is roughly 47 miles a day. Which is all I drove the car to and from work. I know for a fact I didn t blow the head gasket and I shouldn t be responsible for it. It s really upsetting considering I ve already put $700 dollars into it. That was my experience, I hope yours is better. Thank you.Part 2 of this situation:They begged me to remove my review and they would work something out with me so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They ended up telling me that they aren t going to help me 3 days later unless I want to pay $56 dollars a week for 40 weeks for the repair bill which I can t afford being a single father trying to make ends meet. Then they decided to also keep the $700 dollars I put into the vehicle because the 1000 miles I put on the vehicle is worth that plus I left them with a $1200 dollar bill that they tried to say was my fault when it absolutely was not. How can I blow a head gasket in 3 weeks? When I only put 1000 miles on the vehicle. I hope whoever check the reviews decided not to go with this company because they don t do things correctly and they claim they are trying to help people. Thanks.

This is not a review to bash the business. Everyone was very polite and upfront with how everything works. This is a review to let others know that bringing a mechanic to a buy here, pay here lot is a very, very good idea.My husband has a lot of car knowledge, him and my father-in-law was there when we looked at a vehicle. The car looked nice, a few cosmetic issues but nothing that I felt was horrible or a deal breaker. Honestly, it's buy here, pay here and not a big dealership so expectations should be lowered at these places.The test drive was rough. The first thing I noticed when driving was the car pulled really hard to the right. I mean, when I took my hand off the wheel for a second to test the steering, it pulled so hard to the right I had to grab the wheel immediately. When turning in the Kroger parking lot down the road the steering sputtered. This is when my husband asked my father-in-law if he heard a knocking too. He did.We got back and parked the car in it's original space between two other cars for sale and could hear it better. It had a rod knocking. We told them we would pass but while I was in there someone else called to set up an appointment to see the car.After the appointment I hoped that the person that called had some car knowledge or had someone with them that did so that they would hear the rod knocking as well. This is a very expensive repair. I'd hate to know that someone in a position like ours ending up buying the car without knowing.We told them why we passed on the car and the woman immediately called for the mechanic to tell him and he said he would inspect it.Those specific motors from that year for that make/model have a lifespan that starts to show major issues at 100k miles (I found this out with a Google search while leaving the lot) , this vehicle only had about 20k miles before it hit that mark.Again, this isn't bashing the business, when we informed them they said they would inspect it and I hope they did because buy here, pay here lots are almost always sold "as-is" and a motor replacement is a hefty financial burden for those that have the only option but to use to use buy here, pay here car lots.

I'm a domestic violence survivor and didn't have money to pay for the car which was in my abusers name. They politely came and got the car from my driveway when I explained my situation. They were very kind. Good people

This place is an absolute joke. Save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere. My husband and I have had nothing but ISSUES since we've got our vehicle. Absolutely cannot wait to give them their damn car back and go elsewhere. When we had originally got the car Doug was really cool however online the car was listed for $900 down (Facebook) but their actual website was $1,100 yet somehow the down payment was $1,600? They never honored what has been listed on absolutely everything so we have been charged for months for absolutely nothing. Not to mention your tags expire every three months of which you have to pay $60 each time. I've sent Doug, Kelly, Stormy and others messages over TWO MONTHS ago asking for the owners number to get this resolved and they stop replying or simply say 'let me see what I can do' yet two months later and I haven't got a response. This place is absolutely horrible and the car is not worth what they ask. If this isnt resolved they will definitely be hearing from my attorney. Save your time guys, it starts off nice but boy does that decline rapidly.

They are awesome people and go out of their way to get u in a car. I m a customer for life. My car is in shop and is a harder car to work on feel sorry for mechanic but mike call me Monday and said he had good news so I figure it was my car was done instead it was to let me know my car is paid off and to stop by so we can put car in my name, of course I thought it was a joke but it was not. My repair bill is also free and car is all paid off and title is in my hand and in my name. This is the kind of people they are very friendly from stormy to barb and mike and of course the mechanic. They go out of their way to help get u in a car and if u ever run into any problems all u have to do is call them and explain. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a car but when they do get cars in they don t last so make sure u get up there. They made my year thanks guys customer for life and a happy customer at that

I've been pleasantly surprised with my experience here thus far. I went in thinking I was going to be taken for a loop because it is a buy here pay here lot. However, Doug has been more than helpful with everything and has instilled a great deal of confidence in my experience and trust there.r We've gotten a car that runs great, and so far we're very happy.

I absolutely have nothing but great words to say about this place I went in today expecting to just look around to see what they had and if I liked anything I saw a beautiful 2016 jeep Cherokee I was hesitant to ask about it this being the first car I bought on my own but Mike and stormy and the rest of the group made it so easy and painless and they got me into that jeep And I absolutely love it they got me out of there so I can make it to work on time. My parents have been customers of them for years and have two vehicles through them so far only right to give them a shot and I do not regret it for one second thank you guys so much

I absolutely love this place and the people and me panics that work here.. stormy, Mike, kayla. They work with you too get u in for appointments.. work with you for payments and down payments on cars. I have 2 cars from them couldnt be happier with them.. the mechanic guy does a great job on working and taken care of your car in a timely manner.. would recommend this place too anyone that asks where too get a car from.. love the staff and great hospitality they offer as u walk in the door.. that you guys for everything...

Had some work done on my vehicle. Went to a big chain company who is well known. They misdiagnosed my vehicle and I spent hundreds of dollars on unnecessary repairs. Afterwards the same issues continued. I reached out to John 316 to take a look. They instantly were able to figure out what was going on. Squeezed me in for repairs last minute. & even set me up on affordable installment payments. After completion of the work my Suv is back to running smooth and the issues were successfully fixed, finally! Thank you guys so much!

I d rate this place a 0 star if I could. This place is a big joke and honestly they lie to their customers. They pull the Christian card with people when it s all BS. I bought a car from them on a Friday and Sunday they then decide they wanted to change the terms and agreement and wanted more money down so they shut the car off. They have full control over the vehicles and they monitor them by putting GPS on them with the capability of disabling them whenever they want. Also they control the license plates on them and the plates are in their name not yours. Place is a total scam and should be called out on. I sincerely hope no one falls for their BS and goes elsewhere. I m glad I got out of the vehicle when I did as no used car is worth the hassile. Don t fall for their word as they aren t a Christian based anything.

This place is a joke. They "rent" you a vehicle for 4 years then you pay a additional 2 years after that before you own it. To top it off they list it on your credit report as a loan when the vehicle is never put into your name and you must pay them for tag renewals. That's a rental not a loan.

I Went there spur of the moment kinda thing, staff was very nice and helpful. I got the car I wanted and it was fast and easy. I had no problems at all, if your looking for a car visit this place they will get you in something!!

I just want to say thank you to the amazing staff at this place. I took a Lyft their and the nice woman working approaches me and says I guess I m selling you a car today lol. Wow. I was in dire need of a vehicle because I m going through a rough spot in my life right now. Without me even having to explain that, the service was like I had. I am forever grateful and I would recommend this place to anyone!!

I never even knew that such an amazing place existed. I asked for help and explained my situation. I had $100 to my name and my car had been repoed by jd byrider leaving me stranded at a hotel with 2 children under 2... These AMAZING people picked us up, drove me to the lot and put me in a car. I will never ever forget the amount of compassion these people had and I will be forever grateful. They are a christian centered lot and they are a GODSEND. If you need help and have no where else to turn they will help you regardless of your situation, credit, repo history.

Satan's advocate selling broke down cars at high prices i was buying car from these DEMONS told them in the beginning what was wrong with my vehicle still had the same problem about 3 weeks later with an antifreeze leak these demons repo my car stated that the oil change was the reason the car had antifreeze leak car broke down on the highway they acted like they were going to fix the car and repo the car as a form of retaliation and all payments were current talking about a breach of contract with a oil change cause they sold me a lemon for over 15,000 dollars with in the 45 day temporary tags! Not ever should a car have a antifreeze leak 3 days after purchase be sold for over 15,000 dollars!

Best place to buy a car from!! :) I was a customer before i started working here, fell in love with the company itself and 9 months down the road from purchasing my vehicle, i now wake up every morning and get to come to a place of work, that i honestly enjoy. They helped me, when no one else would.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to take care of me, and to take me under their wings and treat me like family. This place has helped me in so many situations, and I can not ever thank you guys enough. They are truly here to help people, and they will go above and beyond for you, and all they ask is for payments to be made, which of course is understandable!! Really didn t think it would be as easy as they advertise, but it was exactly that super easy and fast! They were very informative and the girls in the office are upbeat it was a great experience getting a vehicle from here I highly recommend you try them out!

This place is a joke i texted them last night told them that my bank account wasnt working and i would text them with another number yes i forgot to do that so i was and said i wasnt paying the overdrafted cost then i offered to pay two weeks car payments they still came and took my car even when i said i would pay this place is a total joke i could understand if i wasnt paying my payments so i would recommend you dont go there with just one mistake they will take your car again this place is a joke
