We were towed in with a flat tire from a pothole encounter about an hour before closing on a Sunday. We live 40 miles from the store so not getting a tire would have been a huge inconvenience. The store manager and lone shop person stayed pretty late getting our car and other customers taken care of, and remained personable, polite and upbeat throughout. His extra effort really spared us a very difficult evening. The manager also seemed to know many of the customers that came in while we were waiting personally and was very professional and helpful to all of them. If we lived closer we would make the Lorain Firestone our permanent car care location.

I scheduled online and when I arrived I was told that no one scheduled me and my appointment was not valid. This was not my fault at all yet I feel the blame was put on my as the guy there said that I shouldn't have just showed up , even though I had a confirmation sent to me. It was a very poor experience and said nothing he could do unless I waited hours.

This place is so gorgeous. And there's almost never a line for you to wait forever in, they're very quick, and very helpful whenever you've got questions about services available, or things about your specific car model, many times including the individual years of each model, and what they do, or don't, have. I highly recommended for anyone to check out.

THEY DONT DO TRANSMISSION FLUSHING HERE! I normally don't have any problems here. Usually everything is easy to book online or calling BUT I made an appointment today for an oil change, transmission flush and an alignment. I pay for lifetime alignment so I figured I go here for everything. I get there today at 2 and they tell me they don't have the equipment for transmissions. He can't do anything with a transmission. Even tho I was able to make an appointment and when you Google it says they do. They don't. Don't waste your time calling because it is a service for appointments.

After skepticism on my part over a service repair, and providing a poor review on the Firestone company survey, I am confidently able to report that this Firestone Store has done me right over the years. Josh was patient and understanding about my complaint and after talking it through with me, the customer service at this location is 2nd to none.

The staff were very friendly and completed the job quickly. I was also grateful that they were able to work me in on a Saturday. I definitely feel comfortable returning to this location for future work.

I took my vehicle for service in June, 2023. After calling to find out if the shop worked on on European vehicles. I was assured that they could work on a European vehicle and change a battery.At first, I thought the service was excellent! I was greeted by the staff and by the manager Josh. they were very friendly.I went in for battery check. I was told I didn't need a battery. but after three jumps from AAA, and 2 reading from Auto zone, I had battery replaced.Firestone recommended that my issues was spark plugs. I told Ezekiel I didn't need spark plugs. My spark plugs were replaced in May, 2022. I did not have any engine issues My engine light was not on I had a problem starting the car because it's set for 9 months without being started. Ezekiel said their readings were coming up for spark plugs. he also said when they change spark plugs they do some type of fuel exchange but fluid exchange. My question is always is this something Audi would put in a car he said yes he said that it's going to help the engine go smoothly it's going to help it run I'd already told him that my car acts funny it has an oil consumption issue .At the beginning , Firestone knew the car had an oil consumption issue. Ezekiel explained that they put this in a lot of Audis and it wouldn't hurt the engine and it would help the vehicle burn less oil.Here is the issues! The battery installation was fine thus far. after service was complete the vehicle would not start. It took 45 minutes to get the vehicle started after service was completed. Once started,the car palpitated like it wasn't getting enough gas. Josh, the store manager said I should take it to Avon foreign domestics to look at the fuel injectors. I told him that's who changed the spark plugs I had no issues with fuel injectors. I asked if this cleaners did this.Next day, the engine light came on. I was traveling and was not in Ohio. I called the store to tell them that the engine light was on and the car was still palpitating and I would be bringing it back in when I get back to Ohio. take the car in and the service was horrible! The mechanic that originally worked on the car no longer work there The mechanic that looked at the vehicle I explained that A it was low on oil that the spark plugs I think was faulty what kind of fuelings I can clean that they put in the vehicle very rude they didn't want to look at the vehicle as a result my car is at audio of Bedford with $9,000 worth of damages to the engine because of wrong spark plugs put in the vehicle and Audi didn't recommend fuel injection cleaners.do not take your vehicle to this shop, they have no one to work on Audis .if you already has your car worked on, andhave engine issue, take it to the dealership. Firestone installed the wrong spark plugs in the vehicle and they were not torqueddown. Additionally, Firestone did not live up to their triple promise , fix it to it Right.

Great experience customer service on point with Dylan and Brian . They both treated me with the upmost respect, handled my tire issue like it was on there personal vehicle. Definitely will be back for my vehicle needs.

I actually love Firestone usually and have had great service here. But today, I had a bad experience. I asked them to check my brakes each time I get an oil change, each time they ve said they were fine.Today, less than 6 months later they said I need back brake pads and rotors. I am livid, you let me drive on bad pads and now I need rotors. I will not come back here. I moved into this area, but I ll drive 53 miles to the Firestone at Wilson Mills Rd (Richmond Hts.) to get better service.Upset customer, I will not return.

This Firestone is amazing. They diagnosed my problem, explained it to me, and even stayed later after closing to put the new tires on bc I'm traveling from out of town. John thank you so much, and Dylan as well, and anyone involved who saved the day. Great place.

Danny, Josh, and John song with Joe were complete rock stars. They were as concerned with making my vehicle safe and the repairs affordable as they were with the product. I had set an appointment online while being stuck on the turnpike. When I paid the driver to deliver my vehicle the guy working that day said they couldn't get to it and it could be up to 3 days. We are from out of town and 3 days wasn't going to work. As we sat there waiting for another tow truck we seen how busy they was. Two cars in the stalls with no one working on them. Later when we came back, because the tow truck driver was going to be late, 2 of the guys were bouncing balls off the walls. I am so glad our firestone at home doesn't conduct business like this and things get taken care of like the professionals we have.

Good customer service . I went in to have my brakes done. They did a inspection of them and they were fine. I was not charged for it. The mechanic was great.

I went in on 5/2 just for an alignment. I recently had work done on my vehicle, and new tires. They stated that I needed new ball joints and was quoted almost $600 for everything, nearly half of this being for labor. I thought this was very odd since I just had it looked at everything else was fine. I took my vehicle for a second opinion and was told that nothing was wrong with my car! Just upset that Firestone wasted my time, and still charged me $25 when nothing was done to my vehicle. Will not come here again.

I suspected a mechanical issue with my vehicle so I made arrangements to have Firestone complete their inspection special. The manager was very courteous and was able to have it done the same day, despite them being very busy with limited technicians available. He was upfront with the potential wait, which was not a problem as there are many stores and restaurants within walking distance to pass some time. They also had a food truck on site which was an unexpected convenience. What made this experience less than five stars is their pricing. I was presented a quote for the needed repairs and chose to not immediately commit to having it done because the cost seemed quite high. After some quick research, I was able to purchase the identical part (same part number as on their estimate) from a nearby auto parts retailer for $217 less than the cost at Firestone. I realize that there will invariably be an additional markup at corporate/brand name shops, however this seemed excessive. After making arrangements with my local mechanic to have it installed, I will be saving just short of $300 total compared to having Firestone perform the work. Despite the friendly and accommodating staff, I simply cannot justify that much additional cost.

Call the shop to make your appointment. Don t schedule your service online. They don t get the notice of the online request until the morning of the day of the actual appointment, and they likely already have everything booked for the day(especially on a weekend).Other than that, Tony and the crew provided great customer service and did an awesome job on my car. Even going above and beyond by offering me a ride home (I live fairly close) after the repairs were going to take all day, instead just of a couple hours.Thanks a lot!

Went in with a flat tire. Purchased at firestone with road hazard was told to go to Walmart they can't get me in. Use to work at this location. No way was I ever allowed to turn down a flat repair. Will be calling corporate to get a refund on the tire since they can't service there own warranty garbage

Do not take your vehicle here. Brandon the service manager is horrible with zero people skills. I made an appointment to have a low tire checked and they had the car for 4 hours and never looked at it. Didn't even pull my car into the shop. I was promised it would be done by 6 pm. Not even looked at!! No phone call or anything. I showed up and no apologies...nothing!! I only went there because it was convenient. I should have known better. Last time I had it in their shop they told me i had an oil leak and needed a new oil pan. I park it in my garage and have never had 1 drop of oil drip . Like I said...DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE!!!!

Started out friendly and nice. Now, whenever you go in, they always act overwhelmed. One appointment I scheduled a few days in advance (oil change, tire rotation). They acted like it was highly inconvenient when I dropped the truck off, so I tried being flexible saying if they were busy, I could just pick up the car later I didn't need it back right then. So it was completed at the end of the day. One day I had an emergency situation and asked if I dropped of the truck could look if it had a bad wheel bearing. The guy cut me off and said they are too busy. I ended up taking my business to Mr. Tire in Amherst. They are always busy, but very friendly and always try to help! Huge difference in CS!

I set up an appointment for my girlfriend to come in and get her van inspected due to some recent issues it s been having. The receptionist literally turned her away even though we had a set appointment, and told her she needs to go to a transmission shop even though we have already had the transmission inspected. Completely and utterly unprofessional and a huge waste of our time. Do not give them your time or money.
