Had them tow my car the equivalent of five blocks up the road. It sat on their lot for three and a half weeks. I called them multiple times and each time they would give me a new time on when they were going to look at it or some excuse on why they haven't yet. Three weeks in they finally tell me that I'm better off just to get a new engine that it needs a new timeing, but I told them it needed a new timing when they picked it up. So it's on their lot for 3 weeks and it feels like they didn't even look at it. But they can quote me a price for a new engine that's worth more than the car even is. It's obvious that they take on more work than they can handle if my car is sitting there for almost a month and they still can't tell me what's wrong with it. And it's apparent that they have no organization and you can't trust them at their word because they'll tell you they'll look at it Monday but what they really mean is three Mondays from now, if they even looked at all. And on top of all of this, when I go to get my car and pay the towing fee they charge me $20 more than we had agreed upon multiple times for what the towing fee would be. This was my first experience with Grubbs Automotive, and overall it was a complete waste of my time.

David, Carter, Eric and Billy are awesome. This shop goes out of their way for their customers and I so appreciate all they have done for me and I highly recommend Grubb'a to anyone that needs their car/truck repaired.I have brought my Dodge Caliber up there many times and they have always done me right with an awesome price.My son has a 2018 Chevy Silverado and brought his truck in to Grubbs to be serviced on a few different occasions and he was very satisfied with their service. He also needed tires desperately but it wasn't in the budget right now to buy new tires., buy Dave saved the day and hooked my son up with 4 used tires for a fantastic price. These guys rock and I highly recommend them.If you don't have the money for your repair, Grubb's offers and program that works like 90 days same as cash. This third party company will pay your repair bill and then you pay them back in payments. It's awesome!!

We were staying at the KOA campground when we woke up the morning we were suppose to leave and our truck wouldn t start we are not from the area but got several places to call and this place went above and beyond with calling us back quickly and sending a tow truck to us within 20 minutes was able to go get the parts and understood our situation. They got it done within a few hours and had us ready and on the road! Very friendly and price was very good especially for getting us taken care of on the spot! We thank you and appreciate your kindness the truck is running great!

If I could give this place no stars I would!!! I have taken 2 different kinda of vehicles here for a wheel bearing to be replaced. The first one was a Chevy Tahoe they had that one in the shop for a week they finally called told me it was done went to pick it up and about 3 todays later it was making the noise again so I took it back and they said it was the other side that needs done so I was like okay that makes since but come to find out it didnt they just didn't fix it right! Then the second one I took was just recently like a few months again and it was a Hyundai Elantra, the one good thing is they only had my car for 2 days instead of a week BUT HOWEVER I got it back and about a month goes by and my front passenger side wheel bearing was making the same noise again it was before. So I went to a different shop and come to find out the wheel bearing they "fixed" wasn't even fixed at all they didn't even tighten it down or anything! I will NEVER go back here again!! Worst place ever!

We had a breakdown while camping in the Hocking Hills State Campground. The staff of this shop picked us up and took care of our vehicle. They went way beyond what I would have ever expected from anyone! This shop is amazing and they really took care to get us back on the road including working off hours. Then when we made it out of town we had one more issue and the drove 20-30 minutes to fix it and get us rolling g.

This business goes above and beyond for their customers. I came in without knowing any of them and they jump to help me when I got there. Thank you so much Dave for your courtesy and getting back with me quickly. And thank you so much Carter and Bill for fixing my car so quickly. I'll recommend y'all to everyone.

We just pulled into Hocking Hills campground and something broke loose and we stated loosing anti freeze. Called Grubbs Automotive as suggested by the maintenance worker. They worked us in and were very knowledgeable. They got us up and running in 24 hours. Great guys and fast service.

I was travelling from out of state and needed an oil change. They got me in right away (I did have to come in early) and they took care of it - even getting in the special oil I needed . Reasonable pricing. Waiting room was pleasant - and clean.

Grubbs went above and beyond for us when we were stranded with a dead alternator. We were hours from home. They towed us in a super timely manner and had our vehicle repaired in less than 24hrs. We are incredibly grateful for their kindness, the timely repair of our vehicle and the fair price we were charged for towing and repairs. From out of town and we were spending a day enjoying the parks and our water pump gave out, stranding us. Called a few shops who couldn't help and I was so glad I called Grubb's! Dave was amazing to work with, and was super helpful in recommending a transportation company Hocking Hills Transportation) to get the family back to the rental, towing service and being committed to getting us back on the road ASAP.

Absolutely floored by the level of service I received, I cannot recommend this shop enough.I am from out of town and my Express 1500 van wouldn t start out in Conkle s Hollow. My family had to stay back while I caught a ride into Logan, where I called 2 shops and they couldn t help me same day. Finally called Grubbs and I m glad I did.They assured me they would get me back on the road as soon as they could. I was able to ride with their tow truck driver, Eric, back to the parking lot where my van and family were. We knew it was the starter that was bad, so Eric proceeds to climb under the van while I cranked it, and he got it going within 2 minutes.My family was able to drive back into Logan to the shop in the van and not in the tow truck like I expected. They had the starter already there ready to be installed, and it was done within an hour of drop off.I fully expected to be charged for this level of service but they kept it clean; they charged me for the part and the hour of work. No up charges, no taking advantage.I owe these guys a lot. They turned an extremely stressful situation into something not so bad. If I m ever in the area and need work done, this will be the place.Thanks again, Grubbs.

The first time my husband went there, it was great service. The couple times after, we have had the worst experience ever. I ended up paying the same amount as the dealership quoted me, and my car has new noises and problems (not after a while of having my car back, these problems were noticeable driving off their lot). One guy kept telling my car would be for sure ready that day, and I wasn t even putting a time crunch on him or anything, and it wasn t ready by the time we got there at their closing time. I had to sit in the lobby with my toddler and husband for HOURS (it was almost 9 by the time we left). It s also not right to call the husband when it s the wife s car, the wife is paying for it, and she is the one who dropped it off. There are other issues I had with the service I received, but I don t want to go on a rant. Just know that they may be nice guys, but the service isn t good. I always want to support local, but they need to step up a bit.

Great service! We're from out of town and had some issues with the transmission of my minivan. These guys towed me, git the van up and running and brought it back to the cabin we were staying at.

The guys at Grubbs helped me out on a Sunday when my alternator died. They diagnosed the problem, towed the truck to the shop, sourced a part, and replaced the part, all in 2.5 hours and at a reasonable price. We were from out of town, stuck with a flat tire, in the rain, at night. Then we called and David came and got our tire repaired and back on the vehicle for a great price. He really saved us from a bad situation. We totally recommend this business. We really appreciate how it felt like someone cared about making sure we were safely on our way!

They had my girlfriend vehicle for a week and it went over for an n alternator they didn't put an alternator it they ended up putting a starter on it and cost me 460.00 and it still doesn't run. Then they decided to cut the wiresService: ElectricalService: Electrical

Dave the owner was Great! Our car threw the serpentine belt from a bad tensioner, I called him at 4:50 pm and he said bring it over. They knocked it out in a little over an hour at a fair price. We were in the area from out of town and our car started stalling out. We drove straight there after a quick google search. They immediately started diagnosing the issue and everything was fixed within 45 minutes. Hands down the best customer service! Amazing!

Got to Hocking Hills State Park from Indiana and had an issue with our van. Called these awesome guys early in the day and they took us in right away and had us fixed within the day. Very kind gentlemen and understanding. Thank you!!

These people are GREAT !!! My Daughter broke down in Logan on her way back to Dayton From West Virginia...Not only did they get her truck towed into their shop when Allstate Roadside Assistance couldn't seem to find a Tow Truck, but they had it fixed & back on the road MUCH faster than I ever expected they would. They did everything to make it easy to get this taken care of & I can't thank them enough or say enough good things about the way they took care of us. They are AMAZINGLY good people & I HIGHLY recommend them !!!!!Service: Brake service & repair

Starter went out while vacationing nearby. Called the shop and they didn't hesitate to get us in right away. New starter was installed and back on the road in just a few hours. Price was awesome, didn't overcharge like some shops do when you're in a bind. Highly recommend this shop. Solid service and solid people!!!!!

I was referred to this place by a friend of mine. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Eric, Dave, Corey, and the rest of the crew at this shop are simply amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable, very honest, hard workers, efficient, and provide amazing customer experience. I took them my '15 Silverado 1500 to get a lift kit and wheels and tires installed and they did an EXCELLENT job of the installation and mounting and balancing.I drove an hour south of Columbus to go see them and now they have my business for life. I will always my truck to them for anything I need done and will continue to do so with any future trucks that I own. And they are extremely competitive when it comes to pricing.

I was in from out of town and my alternator started going out. They got my car in immediately and fixed it timely and at a significantly lower cost than my friend, who is also my mechanic. They did a great job and saved me from a lot of headaches on my vacation. I would very much recommend them.

If I could give this place a minus 1000 i absolutely would!..The owner himself lied to us continuously on several occasions while my husband's truck was in his possession!.We were told he would have the truck a week.He had it almost 3.Then when we were called to pick it up that it was finished,he had replaced the one tire with the wrong size..As we were standing in his parking lot discussing the tire issue,we noticed that the hood of the truck was damaged...He(the owner) tried blaming the damage on someone else!. Finally admitting that his tow truck driver caused the damage!.So not only was he to pay for the repairs to the hood,he was supposed to provide my husband with a rental vehicle for work!.We go to pick the rental vehicle up and it is a vehicle that he(the owner of this establishment) himself owns and it is in very poor condition..The car looked like it had been sitting in a junk yard for about 5 yrs..Filthy inside and out!... Different lights on in the dash of issues it had.And a noise coming from somewhere in the dash when it was started... When my husband asked him what the deal was,the man basically thought all this was funny!..If you want good quality service and your vehicle backrepaired correct and no other issues caused by him and his employees , I highly recommend you choose a different place for your repair needs!!.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

My alternator died on a 600 mile road trip on a Friday night. First thing on Saturday I called Grubbs and even though I didn't have an appointment the staff told me to come right in. They ordered me a new alternator and got the work done in less than two hours. The service was quick, affordable, and friendly. Definitely recommend!

UPDATE DO NOT GO HERE: Can't give a negative review. Took in car a year ago due to a Spark Plug breaking in the engine, got car back almost a year later (while going through multiple mechanics)with Popping transmission. We were so happy to finally get it back and figured they wouldn't take blame for the now popping transmission that we just figured we'd deal with that when it came to it. A few months pass and BOOM car starts rocking and sputtering out again, the very issue we took it in there to fix. We take it back again (we live an hour away) and we have to pay more money to fix more things. Then we get it back. TODAY 5/4/2020 STILL HAVEN'T HAD THE CAR BACK A YEAR AND ITS ROCKING AND SPUTTERING AGAIN. THEY CHARGED US 3700 TO STILL NOT HAVE A CAR. They are saying we need to bring it down again! They won't fix the Transmission they broke and they are going to charge us more money to fix what they should have fixed with our original 3700. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. This Ruined my wife's pregnancy, they drained us of all our cash and fixed it just enough to where wed have to keep coming back. Expecting a full paid tow, my engine and transmission fixed, better yet give me back my 3700! Thieves! Honestly considering taking this to court. I will be expecting this to be fixed! This isn't right!

I was going to make a long post and explain a lot of stuff to you but, the bottom line is that these guys are honest and fair with pricing. I think they will be in business a long time. Those qualities are quite rare in their field of work. The only place I will take my vehicle and recommend to anyone if they want quality work done.
