Came here to get a check engine light and couple other issues fixed on my truck.I figured since I was there I'd have the speedometer opened up. They lied to me and said they opened it to max speed but I just had it opened even more at a different shop. They just wanted to get my money instead of telling me they couldn't open the speed more because of freightliner policy. Liars... and they over charged me for the other work done as well.Will never use these thieves again!

Nice clean shop. They have always been able to get us in quickly. Been going to them for around 10 years. Not as busy as some of the other Stoops shops.

Took in diagnostics here from another Freightliner dealer. They insisted that I have an incorrect diagnostics and they must do their own. So far it s been 3-days since they have been experimenting on my truck and still no good results. Turns out the diagnostics from other Freightliner was accurate the whole time.I believe they have bunch of YouTube mechanics working here that don t have much experience and will experiment at your dime. BEWARE. Go see another Freightliner dealer.

Bad customer service. I feel like they take advantage of truckers in an emergency situation. VERY overpriced for their services. Took 1 hr. and 45 minutes for a 10-minute job. Will definitely go somewhere else.

I'm an owner/operator. They got me in fast, did what they said they would do and took care of warranty work that day. I had a problem that was misdiagnosed, when I came back 2 days later they put me in a bay and fixed my water pump within 3 hours. Awesome staff and management!

Worst Freightliner shop I ever been to mechanics didn t know what they were doing. I would not go back here ever again. Call for hold that they had to fix twice and still a month later it burst again they do not know anything about Mechanic work. Customer service is some garbage do not ever go there. They don t deserve 1 star

Great place for all Freightliner needs. Parts people are friendly, and place is really clean and neat. Easy in and out. Lots of room in the parking lot.

This place was great. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. The drivers lounge was comfortable with a lot of seating, a TV with cable, free Wi-Fi, a small area with vending machines, coffee, and a microwave. In the bathroom there is a shower for the drivers to use while they wait.

Called yesterday evening 9pm about coolant leaking. They took a truck at 10:30pm and were able to take a look. Today in the morning they took a truck to the shop again and were able within 1 hour to find the issue. Suggested some repairs. Thank you for fast work, nice and polite staff.

Noticed some liquid on front tire of rv Thursday evening. We were leaving Friday on vacation. Called Friday morning and Mike in service told me to bring right in. They got it in within 30 min. The tech found metal shavings in cap when checking seal. The bearings were about to lock up.They had a new hub in stock and was on road by 3 got to first stop later than anticipated, but safe and sound. Great shout out to Mike in service and the tech and parts dept for a job well done.

Took my brand new freightliner in for stalling issues. They wasted no time trying to figure out the issue. Found the problem fixed it covered it under warranty no questions ask. Fyda in Columbus had the same truck 3 different times for a week each time and didn't put any effort into figuring it out.Thanks I will drive 1.5hr back to lima if I ever need work again.

Took truck into stoops in Lima oh. Truck wouldn't regen. They had truck in and out of shop within 5 hours with all the issues fixed. Very professional and knowledgeable staff. Would highly recommend Stoops in Lima to anybody needing repairs

Had one of trucks there for wheel alignment and pm service, left with the engine oil cap opened and worst alignment ever, steer tire started wearing out on one side after the Brilliant serviceWould never go back there, another you got to be careful with invoices there

Brought in my truck to Stoops Freightliner by tow because it was failing to build air, Stoops replaced an airline that they diagnosed to be the issue while they had my truck for 24 hrs and sent me on my way. The invoice was over $800 for ONE airline replacement!! I broke down again with the same problem 3 hours later. Had to pay another mobile service call and come to find out my air compressor and lines were filled with oil!! This problem SHOULD have been caught at the dealership and it would have saved me ALOT OF MONEY. I m a truck driver from Canada now having to tow my truck all the way back.I called and expressed my grievance when I breakdown and before the mobile service was called but was made to feel that I must have done something wrong and it was definitely nothing done wrong on their end, and was told to get it towed to another location on my expense!! We drivers are not made of money. These kinds of problems really hurt our families. I ve had a terrible experience dealing with Stoops freightliner.I would not recommend Stoops Freightliner if you need help, they will take advantage of you and charge you ridiculous rates, and if you have any issues with their service they won t help you

This business is very clean, large area for parking. The employees are very polite, friendly and very knowledgeable on semi trucks and various engine manufacturers. I have been business here for alot of years and will continue to keep doing business with Stoops. If something isnt right, or if a wrong part was ordered they go out of their way to make it right with you and to make sure you get your refund for what is owed to you.

Best shop around.the bodyshop manager didn't know if he could get me in that day but he asked about my load I told him I couldn't load until it got repaired.he cleared a bay & got to work on it had me fixed in a couple hrs.with a very fair rates. Laundry & showers in drivers lounge a 10 out of 10 perfect shop great staff awesome customer service

I did my engine rebuild at this place, and it broke down again in 1,000 miles. they took care of it w/o problem. they understand drivers too! I can't give five star, Because I spend the extra 20 days without working but I will recommend as a shop for sure. Mistakes happens

My friend has been stuck here for days. Said they needed to order a part for 2,600 now its over 4,000!!! They know there's nothing these truck driver can do. This just broke our . I'll be reviewing them again in detail on my Facebook page Food for friggin truckers.

They lied to me to get me to have them repair my truck. Promised it would be done in 2 days, but didn't even start it until 2 days later, and only then after I called and checked on it and they lied about how far along it was.

We sent the truck with a radiator leak and they fixed it in less than 2 hours, so we didn't waste time and the driver was able to keep with his schedule. Excellent service!

I want to thank all of the guys in the service Dept. As a first time O/O they made my breakdown experience and a bad situation not so bad. They took care of all my mechanical issues along with dealing with the warranty department for me. If you're in the Lima Ohio area and find yourself with mechanical issues I highly recommend them. When other dealer dont have a spot for me after 1 week i call this dealer telling them my situation about dpf on my cascadia 2013 the guy told me bring it here and i check for you today in the same day they fixed. They are nice people you can see from the second floor what they are doing with your truck. After 1 week my truck its running great thank you guys.

Stoops, this location in Lima, OH in particular is my favorite place for repairs whether it s minor or major they always fixed my problems & helped me get my big rig back to the road ASAP. They never go below my expectations, keep the good work guys.They have huge drivers lounge withShower Laundry Free Coffee Vending machine

They replaced some broken wires for $8 but labor costed more than $900, they charged me triple more. Might be service is good, but charges are too much high, unbelievable
