Amazing, friendly staff! Very impressed with the work that was done. Very efficient! Ran every test they could on my car to find the problem. Which was way more than the other mechanic I took the car to. My original mechanic retired. I will be bringing my car here from now on.

Needed a flat tire changed last Sunday, bitter cold day. This young man came from 40 minutes away to Circleville. He was polite, professional, and service with a smile. He did an amazing job and not one complaint. l was complaining how bitter cold it was. Great job, thank you!

Such a friendly place. All the employees are nice and super helpful. The charges are affordable compared to other large shops. The mechanics do a thorough job and make sure your vehicle is safe before you leave the shop. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to Charlie's automotive!

THIS SHOP IS BEYOND FANTASTIC!!!!!! First, I need to start out by saying, I m not a big person on reviews. Unless a company does something that sets them apart from the rest. Then I m a person that likes to give credit when credit is due. I had an engine issue, and was extremely frustrated with the shop I took my truck to. I knew my truck needed an engine. As I called around to gins one. The multi million dollar company Jasper referred Charlie s Automotive. I called and set up an appointment I drove my truck there and had Charlie look at it. I forgot to mention Charlie offered to send a flatbed tow truck to pick my truck up! I said why do you need a flat bed. Charlie said because it s 4 wheel drive, it needs to be on a flat bed. Because it will burn up the drivetrain if not on flatbed!! Wow, good to know knowledge!!! I already knew what the issue was prior to dropping it off. I needed a second opinion. I can say that I m beyond thankful! I have to tell you, Charlie, his Wife, and their secretary, are beyond GREAT!! And I wish there was a better word to explain them, because they deserve it!! They treated me like family from start to finish. And trust me, I m a hard person to please! My truck needed an engine and a bunch of other work done. I knew going into this, it wasn t going to be cheap! in less than 2 days Charlie had the diagnostic done, and a price to do all the repairs. I was blown away to say the least on how fast he turned it around and had me the information I needed! I m in the service business myself. I can honestly say, they truly hit the word service right on the nose! I will NEVER take any of my vehicles anywhere else as long as they re in business!!! My truck is better than new now!! I got everything I wanted done!! For the price and customer service, I am VERY pleased overall!! I ve already referred several friends and family to them!! if you want, honest, service, and good hard-working folks. This is the place!!!!! Again, Charlie SR, Charlie jr, his wife, the secretary. Charlie's has done work on all of my vehicles and we are super happy with the work performed. They are honest about what repairs are needed, and the work is done right and in a timely manner. THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME !!!!!! I feel like i have a second family there in Ohio. I had a transmisson issue and had my truck towed there to get the warranty work done. I have to tell you Charlie His wife and this shop is the best. They treated me like family from start to finish. My truck was repaired in less than 2 days and they had be back on the road ASAP! I had other issues when i got back home Charlie Sr&Jr helped me along the way. I love these guys and i wish i had them closer to me because i would never use another shop. This place cost me nearly $200 for them to evaluate my check engine light and give estimate on a brake job. No work was performed and they still charged me. Ive never been charged by another mechanic for an estimate. Every other mechanic I've ever been to has called me for approval before charging me anything. They told me my car wasnt worth fixing and held it hostage until I paid the full amount (which I disputed). Poor customer service. Shady business practice. I ended up getting my brakes fixed for $300 at Hadden Tire in Adrian, substantially less than what Charlie's quoted. My car has been getting me around fine in the three months since they told me it was not worth fixing. Since this happened, Ive spoken to others who have also had bad experiences. Glad I found a new GREAT car repair and maintenance shop! Friendly, fast, kind, and extremely detailed information about the service they performed. I plan on using them for all our service and repair needs. With these difficult times, they are all set up to keep everyone safe. If you don't use them now, you should definitely think of giving them a try, I'm glad I did!

Owner was nice and understanding on issue, I don t agree on getting charged 50 bucks for telling me there s a noise in my bell housing and they don t want to work on it due to lack of tools. I already knew there was a noise, and it was coming from the transmission bell housing. I told you guys on phone before you guys worked on it. You either wanted to work on it or didn t, and could have said it before hand after it sat there for a week 2014 Ford FocusService: Transmission

Charlies' was awesome. We were stranded by our RV breaking down and they went above and beyond to help us out and get back on the road. They even came and got us at our hotel! Charlie made all kinds of calls to find us a replacement transmission when we were looking at a 6-8 week delay to get one. Unbelievable service and professionalism. Would recommend to anyone.

Staff was very nice and they fixed my car when no one else in my area wanted to touch it. Called me explained what they found and what they were going to fix and it was done in one day! Highly recommend this business I will definitely be taking all my cars there from now on!

They have always been very helpful and upfront about repairs on my autos. I have went there for pre-purchase inspections on used autos in the past. I have had them replace 2 engines in vehicles for me and do repairs on my recent purchase. I am very happy with their services.

Honest and capable!!! Brought my vehicle in after a very expensive estimate elsewhere...Charlie went through the diagnostic process and found the original assessment to be incorrect. Instead of just going ahead and putting in the expensive part and making the big dollar, he did the minor repairs which were all that was necessary. I drive out from Toledo to have my vehicles serviced. Well worth the trip!!!

Charge you money even if they refuse to work on your vehicle. Not worth the hassle. Never going there again.EDIT-Got it repaired from lead foot customs. Its completely road safe. Still not returning to a rip off shop telling me my vehicle is unfixable. The single picture you took didn't show much. Really just upset about charging me for finding an issue immediately. Next time don't treat repeat customers like that. Wouldn't be leaving a review if you refused to work and didn't charge me. And i will tell everyone to not get work done at charles. Because you charge if you do work or not. If you didn't charge id go get it fixed and bring it back for the reason i brought it in.

Had a tire I needed taken off one rim and remounted on another. They did a great job and the price was really reasonable. Great staff.

Really great people to deal with and fair prices. Replaced the transmission in my Jeep and did excellent work. Very knowledgeable about car problems,diagnosis and repair.

They know our family by name and have always treated us well. I ve never felt pressured to do unnecessary repairs. Anytime Charlie suggests repairs he will include a timeframe, i.e. get this fixed next time but don t worry about it yet.

Was in a major bind when one of our delivery vans got stranded on the side of the highway. I called Chalies' and they came to rescue. They were super fast and reasonable!! Thank you. very helpful staff. took the time to talk to me about my truck and didn't have a problem getting in for service. very friendly and diagnosed problem and fixed it. exactly how repair shops should be. I'llbe back.

Didn't properly secure the front, passenger side brake caliper holder back on the car. Fell off and jammed up the front wheel, causing a host of issues. Wouldn't accept responsibility for damages caused.
