Just visited this shop for the first time - and I couldn't be more happy I did! The prices were more than fair, the work was performed quickly and with a smile, and even moreso - it was done properly! I'm coming back here for ALL my vehicle needs, and in fact, I'm bringing my hubby's car here for service now too. They just won all my business. Forever.

JJ is a fantastic mechanic! He got us in quickly and did high quality work for a great price! He made sure we were happy with his work and even educated us a bit! He's seriously a convenient hidden gem in Lewis center! I can't tell you how much I appreciate the work he did today! I have lived all over the country and have had many cars. JJ at The Golden Wrench provides excellent service. He is honest, fair, professional, accommodating, and friendly. I have always been treated with respect and I truly believes that JJ cares about my family and I. As a parent, I need to drive a safe car and I know that a car fixed at The Golden Wrench will be taken care of.I highly recommend The Golden Wrench as a great, local shop to take your vehicle. I have a 2005 jeep and a 2006 Ford explorer so they constantly have problems and I started taking my vehicles to the the Golden Wrench probably four years ago or longer and I wouldn t go any place else from something electronic to something mechanical or internal in the engine. He s always sold my problems I highly recommend you take your vehicle, no matter what model, or what year it is to him and you will become a regular customer like I am.

The Golden Wrench was a great experience for me. I went there because they had such great reviews and now I know why. I took my car to the dealership for a oil change on my car. They claim they did a Multi Point Inspection and came back with a list of things that needed done for a grand total of over $1000. Because it hit me funny and I heard such great things about The Golden Wrench, I took it there for an estimate. Jose took a look at it and said all I needed was new breaks. He also replaced my cabin filter and engine filter that I bought, no charge. I took my car there at 9:00 and he brought it back to me at about 1:45. His charge ..$320. He saved me $700.Didn t need rotors, drive belt, or an alignment! Thank you for not gouging a Senior Citizen on a fixed income. THE GOLDEN WRENCH! Remember the name. I ve tried quite a few mechanics in and around Columbus. This is by far the most honest shop I ve found. Jose lifted my car and reset my seized caliper and didn t charge a cent. Told me to get a warranty replacement from 1A Auto (I had recently replaced the caliper myself. Must have been a faulty part, because the brake line was fine) and sent me on my way.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great service every time! They have taken care of my cars with only an hour notice. JJ is very honest and will not price gouge you. I have referred several friends and family to the Golden Wrench and every one of them thanked me. Great place and great service!

I am a recent customer. I needed a new water pump and dreaded surfing the internet looking for a place to install it. I googled vehicle repairs and this shop came up. I decided to take my chances due to its 5 star rating which is unheard of and boy I am I glad that I did! JJ is reliable, honest and his prices are very reasonable. I will continue to take all my vehicles to him and refer anyone to his shop needing service. I would give the Golden Wrench a 10 star rating if I could.

Every time I've taken vehicles here JJ has time and time again got me in promptly and done great service! I highly recommend him to friends and family. He has always been straight up with the repairs that are NEEDED and is very fair in regard to price of each respective repair.You won't regret taking your vehicles here for repairs.

We have 6 older cars and take them only to Golden Wrench. They tell me honestly what needs done now, can wait, or is fine. I never feel like they are trying to take advantage of me. The service is prompt and very fairly priced.

I would rate 6 stars if I could. JJ was amazing and very helpful. My hood latch broke and my hood flew up and broke my windshield. JJ came up with a cheaper fix for me than would be protocol and he gave me a RIDE TO WORK. Great service, really looking to help people out.
