I was pulling a trailer with all our belongings from NY to GA and had a blow out in the middle of the interstate, it was terrifying. I called these guys the next morning and within a couple hours we were back on the road with two new tires and loads of confidence. The gentleman that came was the nicest man, and so knowledgeable! He was our angel! I HIGHLY recommend you use A 1 Trailer and Hitch, they are 5 star!

Roger and team do a fantastic job! They have helped me with several trailers and completed work to keep our Scout troop on the road with the troop trailer. Fair prices and excellent communication. Called me back on a weekend when I called in and didn t expect a returned call. Had trailers fixed quicker than expected. Support this business that provides straight advice and works hard to provide great service to Delaware Co!

Awesome experience! Roger and his team really know their stuff! They took care of my hitch and trailer needs so I don't have to worry on my trip to Florida. Peace of mind in knowing that I'll be safe! Highly recommend! 10 stars!

10/10 recommend! Bought a used horse trailer and 2 days later the lights stopped working. A quick google search led me to A1 Trailer - the positive reviews and close location seemed promising so we took it down to get looked at. Roger was very helpful and looked at it right away when we brought it in. We ended up getting all new wiring, brakes, and tires. Price was reasonable and Roger was very helpful in getting it done quickly so we could keep a scheduled trip planned! We will definitely be coming here again in the future! I ve read a few reviews complaining about the office - so what? Quality of the work and the people are great!

From scheduling to driving away with our hitch every thing was fantastic. Roger knows his business and is extremely efficient. One hr after we dropped off we were done and on our way home. Very happy with the service and our new hitch.

The hitch was installed quickly and setting up an appointment was easy. Service was great. Feedback though would be the waiting area is pretty off-putting. It feels very cluttered with abrasive political messaging scattered throughout. For instance, an image of a dog pooping on Obama's face. It's more unprofessional than anything. I contrast it with my local mechanic: Oxford Automotive who has a welcoming, spotless, and professional area to wait.

Stopped in and had them installed a new 14k Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution hitch for my camper. From ordering to install it was a great process and they're very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Like the name says A-1 ! In this day and age it s so hard to get quick, reliable service. I stopped in to make an appointment for my camper, thinking it would be months before I could get in there, and then who knows how long after that for an actual repair. Roger said bring it in right now, drop it off and we ll squeeze it in between jobs. Had it back 2 days later! Very refreshing, thank you!

I had an issue with a bent bunk support on my boat trailer that kept me from being able to trailer my boat. Called Roger and he had me bring it in to their shop and his crew was able to get it straightened out, my bunk reattached and had me back on the road in 15 minutes. They went above and beyond to help me in a tough spot and I would recommend them to anyone that needs any type of trailer maintenance.

A-1 did an amazing job on our truck! I brought it in for what I thought was an estimate and with 60 minutes my truck had new breaks! Roger is professional and courteous. His staff are young men learning leadership and everything that goes with working on vehicles through older mentors! Thanks for a job well done. Prices are better than anywhere else I found.

Roger and A-1 are the best around! I had my 5th wheel hitch serviced by them in an emergency and they were more than accommodating and educational about how I can check in on my hitch to tow safely. Very reasonable pricing, compared to other shops I got quotes from for an adapter they were the best! After talking with Roger I knew we were in good hands! 10/10 this will be the only place I bring my trailers and hitches

Roger and crew put a stealth hitch on our Volvo V90, that involves pulling the bumper and more. In one hour they were done, great job and we were on our two hour trip home. Price was fair also would recommend Roger s company to all my friends.Doug Hall

I m very pleased I found this group for my trailer needs. Quotes, installation, etc. were professional and well within reason. In a sea of contractors that don t walk the walk but just talk the talk, here is a group that you can feel confident about.I would refer them at the drop of a hat.

Roger and team were extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with on setting up my Jeep up to be flat towed. Their prices were reasonable and they went the extra mile to show me how to flat tow and followed up the next day. Awesome company and staff!

When I arrived for a scheduled appointment no one came out to greet me or acknowledge me. There were three men in the back of the garage and I just stood there awkwardly. The place was filthy and so so messy. I finally decided to leave after no one came out and when I got home I got a phone call. The man rudely informed me that what happened had not happened (?) and then to add insult to injury he charged my credit card for a hitch they still have and said that I had committed fraud. I m still shaking from the encounter- I am not used to being treated with such disrespect. Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable, clean, reliable place like a car dealership or uhaul. The icing on the cake is the divisive political signs everywhere- don t expect a hint of professionalism from this place.

This will be 3 parts, the great, the good, the ugly.The GREATThe shop spent a lot of extra resources on my car as I was about to out my family in it and move 1400 miles. I was without my car for a few extra days but A1 did an outstanding job to make it right and was very understanding of my strong desire to make it right give my move and family. Well done sir, I don't feel like many would go to this level of ownership and effort to make it right.The GOODNo one else around could get the parts in time for my move and these guys could. The install of the parts was pretty quick the pricing seemed fair.The BADDuring the install we had some electrical issues arise as a result of an easy enough to make mistake (I've done similar before) that took a good bit of effort to troubleshoot; this portion is ultimately what drove the great above.Finally, strictly based upon A1's efforts to make everything right, I would indeed recommend them to a friend.

I was looking for a truck hitch for my husbands truck and several people in the Columbus area recommended this company. I private messaged them and the owner was very helpful and patient with my many questions. The pricing was excellent also, so I decided to drive over to their shop to purchase. The employees very very friendly and even helped me carry the hitch to my car. Excellent quality and service!! I highly recommend this company.

Service at A-1 Trailer and Hitch was great. Had a leaf spring break on our pop-up camper. I called at 9AM and they were very polite, said they could fix it, and call on our way when it was being towed. Got a tow truck lined up and got it delivered around 10 AM. Gave me an estimate of Wed or Thur at the latest to repair it. The team at A-1 called by 330 PM indicating that it was ready for pickup. Same day turn-around. Couldn't have been happier, especially when others were quoting 8 weeks to get in or December at the earliest. The other reviews that reference the decor are right. It isn't the cleanest and politically correct. But... who cares. They got the job done right and timely. They even replaced my tires and packed the bearings during that time. Can't thank them enough.

I own 6 trailers and bring them all here for service. Roger and company do some of the best work I have ever seen. They tell it like it is, fix what needs fixed and are very honest. If something isn't right, they don't make excuses, they just fix it. They have fixed issues from locks, to blown bearings for me.

A1 trailer is a great place I've taken my trailers there for the last few years. I was stuck in Michigan traveling back to Columbus and I had problems with the lights on my trailer. I called Rodger he walked me through it. Unfortunately I didn't have enough tools with me to resolve the issue. I was able to make it back to Columbus. The next morning I took it into A1 and Rodger fixed it very quickly. Rodger is extremely helpful and willing to go out of his way to take care of his customers.The best trailer place in Columbus!!! If I could give more than five stars I would.

A1 is great! I have them fix almost everything on my trucks and trailers. Roger has built a custom bed for my trucks, done welding, installed snow plows etc for me. He even put a snow plow on my Smart Car!! Great company, highly recommend!

They installed a hitch on my subaru in less than 30 minutes and did a great job. Just a few things to keep in mind, there is very little space inside to wait, and they charge a 3% fee on credit card transactions, so bring a check or cash. They were very friendly and charged a fair price.

Absolutely love the experiences I have had here. Roger and team have done great jobs everytime I come. I am repeat customer for about 3 years. Will always recommend. Anything from clasps to new hitches and axles on my trailer.
