Steve replaced my brake shoes. Had I taken it to another place, I feel they would have tried to replace the rotors too. His price was very reasonable and he came to my house and did an outstanding job. In a field where trust can be an issue, I found Steve to be amazingly honest, not to mention he did an outstanding job. He also responded very quickly to my request. I would highly recommend Steve if you re looking for a knowledgeable mechanic who is both trustworthy and affordable.

I recently took my Chevy Silverado to Uncle Steve's for a full inspection and fuel pump replacement. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding and deserves five stars across the board.Uncle Steve was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly, answered all my questions patiently, and kept me informed throughout the process. He even took the time to send me photos of the work in progress, which I really appreciated.The work itself was top-notch. My vehicle is running like new and the fuel pump issue is completely resolved. Thank you Steve!!! Saved my car right before Christmas and the Holidays! Now I don t have to worry about my timing belt and water pump. Then coming to our house and diagnosing some other issues and addressing them right in our garage! Thank you for replacing my motor mount and fixing my heat shield issue! I was recently recommended to Uncle Steve s after what I thought was a transmission leak I thought I d be soon looking for a new car, but he took his time to figure out what was really going on and got my Jeep all fixed up!! He was very responsive when I called, answered all my questions and all around a great person to work with. Highly recommend!!

Had my car taken in (2015 VW Jetta) for what I believed may have been a problem with my alternator. I was informed that it was actually my fuel injectors and that they have gone bad. Uncle Steve and his crew did an amazing job, the car has never run this well, and I am thoroughly impressed.He was very patient with me and kept me updated throughout the service. If you need a trustworthy shop with amazing service. I d most definitely recommend these pro s here in Lancaster.

I've had good and great experiences at other garages but Steve blows that out of the water. He's genuinely kind and caring and it's clearly not a bluff or front. Fast responses, service, and a genuinely pleasant environment and social interaction. He even puts things together for the community and their children, a lovely place altogether. Definitely coming back. :)

I had Steve work on my Toyota matrix. He looked it all over, diagnosed the problems, and completed my car promptly. I had some questions about my car post repairs, and he answered and looked at my car without issue. Planning to bring my cars here in the future.

I had water pump & thermostat housing replaced on my 2003 BMW 325i. Uncle Steve explained the process & answered all questions. The engine fan had to be removed. which he made look easy. Two belts were removed and the pump & housing went on in short order. Uncle Steve flushed all the old coolant, plus coolant in the engine block, which is not standard at most repair facilities. I was not charged for this flush based on the two parts replaced. I also learned a lot about Amsoil full synthetic engine oil, which I will consider for both of my BMW. Also, Uncle Steve drove me to local auto parts to get a small part that was not in the original game plan. Very customer oriented, I will return. Gary Urcheck. New Albany. OH.

Instead of dealing with getting my car towed somewhere and then not having it all weekend, I googled a little more and called Uncle Steve. He fixed my flat tire within half an hour. Best decision ever to reach out! Very prompt, very friendly, and didn't cost a million bucks! If I'm ever having car issues he's now my go-to! Thanks Uncle Steve!

My family and I traveled over 200 miles to visit Hocking Hills State Park, and just as we arrived at our beautiful cabin rental, on Labor Day weekend, my engine started to shut down. I felt desperate and never expected anyone to call me back, never mind come out to the rural cabin. Steve did both and more. Steve spent the entire day working on my van, even ran to a store to get oil for it. I actually think he doesn't charge enough for everything he did. But, as a single woman in between jobs, I am so grateful for his more than fair prices. He is truly a gem!

Steve has worked on my cars for over two years. He is reliable and he knows cars. If he can't figure out the problem, he takes the time to look for an answer. Very professional and thorough! He checked out our vehicle before we bought it and then did all the repairs after. He ordered parts quickly and repaired it in a timely manner. Very easy to get along with too! Would recommend him to anyone!

He hooked us up. We are from the Akron Cleveland area. We came to visit hocking hills. Our truck broke down while out there with our kids in it. He had us up and running within a few hours. Also he was already working on other cars. He stopped everything to help us out. Good man. And great work.
