Just bought another boat was having some fuel line issues, I have taken 2 of my other boats to Mike's dockside in the past and received professionalism with great results, so I decided to take this boat in and just have them do the fuel lines right. To make a long story short if I would of replaced the fuel lines myself, I would of blew a piston right threw the block. Luckily I didn't thanks to Rory perram and his staff at Mike's dockside they found this issue on the fuel line replacement that #3 piston was shot and cylinder walls scorched by there knowledge and professionalism. I know bad news is never good news but they saved my motor and are working hard to get it back to new. I am very loyal to Mike's dockside,Rory and their staff. I rate the business a 5 and I rate Rory and his staff a 5 and I will always seek their customer courtesy,honesty,knowledge, professionalism and speed of service with any of the boats I ever own again in the future.Do it right the first time!Thank You all at Mike's your amazing Rory.Truly Kenny Thompson Service: Engine repair

I called a few places in early May to see who could get my boat in the fastest and Milkes told me 2-3 weeks. (First of many lies)So I decided on them, 5 weeks later I called them back again and they said they didn t know what boat was mine and what was the OH numbers? after another week they called and said what the issue was and charged me 3 times the amount it should cost. Called them again mid July for the 10th time and they said they sent me an email a week earlier that it was ready which they didn t do and I finally got my boat 7 weeks later. And $3000 plus later after replacing a freeze plug ,oil pressure sensor and clean out plug. End of story the boat runs great but the customer service and lies were very unprofessional so beware. Bad experience.

Had issues with our main boat motor on a fishing trip from out of state. Few places said they were too busy to help. Mikes dockside took us in and had our boat back up and running in 2 hours. Saved our whole trip. Will definitely recommend!Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Mike s has serviced our boat and shrink wrapped it for years and now we are doing inside storage there. They seem to have a good inventory of parts on hand for the do-it-youselfer. Honesty and trust is my standard and that's why I'm their customer.

Bought an Avalon Tritoon from Mike s in 2021 with a Mercury 225 hp engine. Currently have 90 hours on Lake Erie with this vessel 100% satisfaction with performance, as well as service and Winter storage from Mike s Dockside. Fuel efficiency of our boat is great, and it has no problem handling rougher conditions at times on Lake Erie. We tube and wake board a lot in 1-2 foot waves and have successfully encountered 3-4 waves at times but usually stay off the lake during those periods. They were supposed to do a skeg repair on a 2008 boat I was purchasing, that was part of the agreement. They glued some repair kit on it that did not last at all. It came completely off even where they ground it out. Nothing held at all. The boat did not run properly either. They told me it s old gas. It was not. I spent 2500 repairing the motor. Now I have an estimate of fixing the skeg of 12000.00. I tried to get them to work with me and the last time I talked to them they hung up on me. I m turning it over to my attorney. Mike's Dockside has serviced my old boat for more than 10 years and they recently saved it from sinking at the dock. I launched my boat and had an issue with the outdrive, which friends suspected was a blown fuse. My friends were going to change the fuse, but I called Mike's anyway and thank God because they discovered my boat was taking on water due to a cracked shift bellow.Despite being insanely busy with other customers, Mike's pulled my boat and fixed the problem. I was back on the water in a week with a working outdrive, newly configured wiring and no leak. Had Mike's not responded so quickly, my boat would have sunk. I know how busy they are this time of year and truly appreciate their quick action. Mike and Rory have taken care of my boat for the last 3 years. I purchased the boat knowing one engine needed replacing. They replaced the engine, fixed issues on the second engine, and serviced the I/O drives. They also prepare and store my boat in the winter. I couldn't be more pleased. They are a full service marine facility offering any type of repair, upgrades or maintenance. I will have them continue to care for my vessel.

I called was a old customer for four years,with another boat, thought I was a good customer,? always paid,still Got plenty money...TOO... LoL....,truck driver, work hard, asked to bring boat up store for summer while I boat, give me a price ?I asked. ,Said it was done on a Case by case basis...??Was going to have boat stored there and worked on too,needed some things done. Done this before on other boats,various places,from Ohio river to lake erie,they're TOO busy they said,have TOO many boats in and out,no room for Old customer?,I live in kentucky,no room for me to store boat, just work on then take it away,?I don't live up there,it's big place,need storage ,shop,and Will need other services,wrap,oil winter ize,,sureally other work TOO.made some other calls, actually every!!! place I called offered to help me , very nice!!!!,since I live outside town ,i easily found another place to go!! ,various prices!!.. reasonable!! and service TOO., that has room for me,for storage and work on boat,and store my trailer TOO if needed different prices!!,and several has own docks too and put boat in and out
