I've been to a handful of different auto shops, and RJ's is now at the top of my list. I've only had minor work done (brakes, oil changes, etc.) but they have always done great work at fair prices. In a world where auto techs have gotten a bad rep, this is one shop you can trust. Competent, honest, and quality work is the primary focus for their customers.

Spoke on the phone with a Nathan, he told me that they don't do body damage repair but can still provide an estimate. Took a vacation day and rented a vehicle then dropped my vehicle off. Spoke to the same Nathan In person, showed him the damage and what I'd like to do. He said no problem we can handle it . About 2 hours later Nathan called me and said there's nothing they can do to help me. I said that's not what you told me when I made the appointment or when I dropped my car off, he stated that it's just simply something that they can't handle at this time. So I wasted a vacation day and $75 on a rental for nothing and I'm back to square one. I used to trust these guys with my car and I no longer do.

Do not recommend. Poor quality work needing another garage to fix. Owner lied about the problem. Then refused to talk to make it right. Placing blame on me for the situation. Don t take your car here.

Passing thru on my cross country trip, My big RV blew an exhaust gasket on the freeway, I pulled into Walmart for the evening, and made my way to RJs first thing in the morning. Even tho they were very busy, they were incredibly kind and helpful and accommodating. Within a few hours they had me in and out of the shop, leak fixed perfectly, and charged me incredibly fair!! If I lived nearby I would take all my vehicles here!!

I've always trusted them with my vehicle and they kept it in excellent running condition. Now they've expanded into body work. I wrecked the front end, and they repaired it, one cannot tell what the repair was, it was done so professionally. Very kind friendly employees. I would never take my vehicle anywhere else. Prices are very reasonable.

My 2015 Chevy truck would crank but not start. I tried following YouTube "fixes" but could not solve the problem. RJ's got it quickly. A bad fuel pump relay. Cost was reasonable and about what I thought it would/should be. Solid explanation of the problem. They even labeled the new relay and gave me a spare in case there is a problem in the future. Will definitely use them again if I have other problems.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

RJ's changed the motor in my car and did an amazing job. Jessie went above and beyond including sending photo updates as things progressed, and they did exactly what they said they would do and in the price range given at the time of the estimate. Fantastic service, excellent customer relations and very trustworthy. I will continue to use RJ's and refer my friends and family. My friend and I were on our way home from a concert in Ohio (headed back to Pennsylvania) when my car started making a horrendous clunking noise. It was about 7:30am and no where was open. We stopped off at a Walmart and the tire repair shop told us about RJ s. We called and explained our situation and they told us to come in right away and they would look at it! (We were still over 2 hours from home). When we arrived they took the car in right away. It turns out all it was was loose lug nuts so they tightened them and sent us on our way without even charging us! I am so grateful and can t express how amazing everyone was to us! Much appreciated!

My husband myself having to going RJ s for about 9 yrs. Their service has been excellent every time we have brought our vehicles to them. Having one vehicle that is 17 yrs old we have used RJ s for just about everything. They have always been fair in their pricing. They will never try to up-saleA service that you don t need. I recommend RJ s to anyone who is looking for a friendly and reasonable auto service business.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My son was traveling between southern Indiana and downstate New York when he developed smoke coming from the engine compartment. He found your shop and was initially told that, at 3:00 p.m. or so, you weren't sure you could even look at the problem. Showing grace to him at a stressful time, you managed to call someone in to work, open a lift to inspect, then diagnose the problem with his transmission. What could have been an absolute nightmare of waiting overnight and untold delays was handled by the Ohio-based Angels in your shop! Thank you for the care, advice, and attention you gave him. They arrived safely home by 11 p.m., thanks to your business and the caring professionals involved.

Each time my car breaks or doesn't work right I take it to RJ's because it's a place you can trust ! Am always a lot happier when they fix my car . The Best place ever

I took my car to RJ's to get a few odd things checked out and fixed. They were extremely friendly both on the phone and in person and genuinely seemed to care about my experience as a customer. They were up front about the needed repairs and repair options and my car was done within just a couple days at a reasonable price.No one wants to have to take their car in to have it fixed but RJ's made it a smooth experience. Jessie & Ralph are both up front w/you. They'll tell you only what you & make suggestions on upcoming maintenance. Always friendly. VERY reasonably priced! I travel 35 miles just to go to them.

If you want a local, friendly, and honest shop then look no further than RJ's! I know many people who take their vehicles to them and have always had great results. I am very particular with my vehicles and usually only go to the dealer for service. This time I decided to support my local community and I'm so happy I did. Upon picking up my vehicle I discovered they are very careful with customers vehicles and are very detailed with their work. If you are someone who is looking for a dealer alternative like I was, you can trust RJ's with your vehicle!

My sister and I, who are older ladies, were traveling this week from Pennsylvania to back to Missouri. While driving on I-76 in heavy traffic a metal pipe rolled into our inside lane. There was no way to avoid it with out going off the road or hitting a vehicle. It went under the car and hit the driver rear tire and blew the tire. My insurance company listed several places we could be towed to. Not knowing the area I picked RJ s because it was the closest. I am so glad I did! That pipe bent and tore the inside of the wheel. The owner Ralph sent the mechanic Jessie to get a tire from another shop so they wouldn t have to wait for it to be delivered. But the only wheel to fit my Lexus was in Cleveland. It would be a day before they could get it. Moy in the front office was so good to us while we waited. She was going to drive us to a motel for the night. Ralph said no we can use a car they had on the lot. Moy kept us entertained while we waited the next day for the wheel to arrive. Ralph and his team treated us like family. We would recommend RJ s to anyone who lives in the area. If I find myself back in the area I will be sure to stop in and say hi to them!

I've been going here for almost a decade. Their service is not among the best, it IS the best. They're genuinely polite and my car is always done quicker than expected. I would recommend this auto family for as long as they are around. Thank you so much RJ's!!!

A great family run business. They are people you can trust to be honest about what you really need fixed. The staff are friendly, helpful, and kind. They always take good care of me and my car. This is a shop you can feel comfortable sending your family and friends to, especially if their automotive knowledge is less than stellar. RJ's will take good care of them. They never try to trick you into spending more than you need to. Honest, reliable, kind service. If I could give them more stars I would.

It was a bad day to say the least but RJ's exceeded my expectations. We were driving through from Michigan to Pensylvania for a camping vacation when the altenator in the truck gave out. After calling multiple shops in the area we were connected with RJ's. Not only did they start work on my truck right away, even though it was closing time, but they also allowed us to put our towed camper in their lot. They bent over backwards to make sure our bad day got better quick and allowed us to use the loaner car to get to the hotel for the night. Not exactly where we planned to be at the end of a long night but RJ's personal touch and caring about me and my families wellbeing we are going to rest easy.

3/10/22 Edit: Unfortunately, I've had to make the decision to go elsewhere for repairs and reduce my rating for RJ's. I still think the people here are good people. However, I don't know if the business has grown larger than they can handle, or if it's just carelessness, but I've had my share of frustrating experiences over the last year or so that have cost me time and several hundred dollars to correct. (Misdiagnosing a simple bad starter solenoid for a bad starter motor... twice. Fixed that myself after the second starter motor "failed." Diagnosed a rattle as a loose heat shield when it was a busted baffle in my muffler which is now out of warranty by a couple of months so I'm on the hook for a full replacement. They also weren't able to source and replace a rear seatbelt buckle after a year of requesting. This took me one phone call and fifteen minutes worth of labor to do on my own after I gave up on them.) At this point, I've decided that after ten years, it's time to move on. I hope they can turn things around because as I said, I really like the people here, but sadly, I've just lost a lot of trust and confidence in them and can't see myself returning.Original: I've been pretty fortunate to find good mechanics wherever I've lived but RJ's has got to be the best. The staff is always friendly and takes the time to explain what the issue is and what the possible options are. Prices are fair and work is completed quickly. I decided to give these guys a try several years back when I found out our local police department trusted them with their vehicles.To provide an example of the character of these guys, I had a 14 year old vehicle that I took in last year to have some work done on. It was a pretty solid car, but repairs were becoming more frequent due to standard wear and tear. I dropped the car off in the morning and they called in the afternoon wanting to know "how much I liked [my] car." It turned out it was going to need some pretty extensive work beyond what I had requested. They provided an estimate to repair everything and it was going to be right around what the blue book for the car was worth at the time. Rather than repair it, I traded it in for a new car at a local dealership.It would have been easy for them to fix what I requested and then hit me with the news that it would need a lot more work when I went to pick it up, thus guaranteeing another $2,000 out of me. Instead, they called me before doing anything at all to let me know that it might be time to just trade this one in, rather than continue to sink money into it.

Working in healthcare on call 24/7 makes it really hard to schedule work on a car. I got to say they got me in next day put 4 new tires on. They are all kind and happy to help. Good pricing and better service.

Falls Dodge Dealer told me I needed a $2,000.00 heater core replaced in my wife's Dodge Journey. I had RJ's look at the Journey and they let me know the engine thermostat was bad and not allowing the engine to reach normal operating Temps. He estimated the repair @ $334.75. He believed that may fix our Journeys heating problem. I said go ahead.Ralph from RJ's called that evening and said he did the work and the heaters are blowing out hot air now. He was right. The bill was exactly what he stated even after tax. $334.75. We had our car back in one day!My brother recommended them, and I will recommend them to anyone needing car repair.It is a true Blessing to know a good knowledgeable & honest mechanic.

Other reviews suggest this is a good shop, and hopefully it is. However, I left a message with them after hours when I needed an urgent brake repair while driving through Kent (about 80 miles from home), and they never called me back. They should have at least called the next day to tell me they couldn't fit me in. Fortunately another shop in town called me early the next morning and took care of me.Follow up: shop called me back after the review was posted and it sounds like this was a mix up in their phone line system. They are working to correct it -seems like they are trying to do things the right way for their customers.

Absolutely incredible place to bring your car. You will be treated exceptionally well, as they will go above and beyond to help service you, and take care of you. They do wonderful work on European cars and have earned a customer for life. With the unprecedented amount of respect they give, and how well they communicate with you what's wrong, you'll always feel like you're cared for.

RJ's is one of those shops you find that you want to hold onto forever. They are friendly, honest and genuinely want to help. This is a family owned business that understands that how you treat people makes a difference. I will always take my vehicles to them for things I cant do on my own, and know that I will be well taken care of. Highly recommended.

Where can you find a mechanic or a shop you can trust and who cares about your car as much as you do??- RIGHT HERE PEOPLE! This is a locally owned family shop that gets 99% of its business from customer referrals and repeat business. That tells you the story right there. Fair prices, trustworthy work and a family atmosphere. Anyone that has used RJ's for automotive service is still using or recommending them to their friends and family.
