The staff recommended a good time when they wouldn't be too busy, and it was good for me as well. They checked out my problematic tire and swapped it out. They were courteous and friendly. I always feel comfortable and safe in their space. My road hazard warranty covered a part of the cost, so I actually paid a little less for the new tire than I had anticipated. Good show all around!

I feel like I've been taken advantage of I'm not even sure what to call it. I visited the shop on Monday, 4/8/2024, and dealt with a person named Mike. Initially, I went in for just an oil change but ended up leaving with both an oil change and a new tire. Mike assured me that the total cost would come to $250. However, when I received the final bill, it amounted to $315. That's a significant difference.I wanted to discuss this discrepancy with Mike, but he seemed to disappear into the back of the store. Despite my appointment scheduled for 10 am, the service wasn't completed until 1 pm. The whole experience was ridiculous.To make matters worse, my car's dashboard still indicates that it needs an oil change. They weren't able to reset the car settings, so now I'll have to go to a dealership. It's incredibly frustrating.The entire situation feels like a sham.

I never write reviews but I honestly think it's unconscionable that they can be in business and scamming college kids who often don't know better. I went to this place to identify a noise coming from my car believing it was a brake issue because the noise only happened when the car was braking. They told me there were no issues with my brakes, but instead that I needed to replace a wheel bearing and the issue would be solved. I agreed, but when I received my car after the service every single light was on. I had to go back to them to fix the issue, which was apparently that the wheel bearing was improperly installed. They told me after the service that the noise would be gone. It was not gone. Months later I went to get the noise checked out again and to check out a shaking that had developed. I chose to go to another mechanic, who identified that not only did that same exact wheel bearing need replaced once again, but that the brakes had a major issue that went unidentified by Firestone, leading to me needing to replace my entire brake system. Do not go here for even routine maintenance services they will misdiagnose issues and improperly replace parts.

Service was wonderful. I found them to be very honest (I was worried about my breaks and they assured me they had a lot of life left when they could ve charged me for an unnecessary expense). The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I had to wait for two hours (normal and expected. No problem with that) in the lobby and it was freezing. I was literally trying not to shake from the cold. I m not used to that.I would recommend their services to anyone. I would just say to bring a blanket if you have to wait.

Worst experience with my car inspection. I recently did my oil change of my car on 12th December 2023, sticker is pasted which shows when I need to change oil next time but they did not even check the drip for oil check they just look into the dashboard some setting light sensor error was shown for oil change on that basis they simply inspected for oil change. On the other hand in 2023 I had newly serpent belt repaired/installed which is good for long time according to my mechanic of Main Street auto. I am not getting what kind of inspection check they did. Even I never allowed anyone to smoke in my car but my car was smelling like someone smoke in my car when I picked my car. They are too rude when I am asking something or cross questioning them.

The garage staff (Tim, etc.) are excellent and the two current managers at the store (The Two Mikes) are amazing. Years of knowledge, skill and customer service under the roof of this Kent, Ohio Firestone shop. In addition to attending to my company fleet manager services, I also bring my personal vehicles here. Outstanding service all around!

i had an appointment at 11 for an alignment he told me give me an hour will get it done waited there for a hour and then he said one of the guys told you to come at 9am No body mentioned anything about 9am i said cool imma go to work and come back pick it up , called them he said it will be done at 4:30 took a break from work and went there 4:25 the car in the same way that i parked it and nobody touched it. I ABSOLUTELY DON T RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!!!!! THEY SUCKThank you

I would not recommend going here. The customer service was absolutely terrible, they talked down to me and acted like my car was worse off than it really was. They tried to get me to pay for a service I quite honestly didn t need. It took them 2 hours to just change my oil and they didn t even call me when it was finished. I went to autozone right after and they told me everything I wanted to know from the very start within 10 minutes. Do not waste your time here.

Don't take your car here. They are not trustworthy. We had our car worked on, once we got it back it had a huge dent/scratch on the side of it like it was scraped by a brick wall. They have no cameras so they had 'no idea' how it could have happened.

Because each time I ve gone to this shop they have been super helpful and even taken me into the shop to show me an issue maybe I can t see myself, where most other shops wouldn t even bother! Everyone there is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about vehicles! So thank you very much!

I made an appointment to get my brakes fixed. I dropped it off when they opened. They texted me before closing saying they didn't get it done and I couldn't drive it home.. they spent the day on someone elses car but still charged me for all those labor hours. When I finally was able to drive it the brakes were still grinding and I was out about $2,000 after they suggested a few other things that needed fixed. Unreal.

Our car broke down an hour outside Kent on a Friday afternoon. The Kent location got us in and had our car fixed by noon on Saturday. The team was nice and extremely helpful. Went there to get rear breaks and rotors replaced as it was grinding. They made me pay $10 for a diagnosis which was okay. But they also told me that I need a new serpentine belt as it was all cracked, I need a new air filter as it was completely black, and that I needed brake fluid change. I only did the fluid change as they made it seem a lot more important than it true was went home and checked the belt and the filter and they were both completely fine and lied to me about it. The brakes and rotors were all fine and okay but they will up charge and lie to you. Avoid unless you can t get someone you 100% trustServices: Air & cabin filter replacement, Brakes

Firestone has taken care of all the issues on my 2013 Ram. They ve dealt with my warranty company each time and have provided clear communication and accurate information. The engine went out recently and Firestone was able to get the engine ordered and provide an accurate estimate in a timely manner. They ve worked on over $10,000 worth of warranty work on my vehicle and would recommend them to anyone with a warranty contract. Mike the service manager has dealt with me at multiple locations and always exceeds my expectations. Bout as close to the dealership as you can get.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

These CROOKS took advantage of my 70 year old mother in law for a 800 dollars. Sold her 4 tires on her car when she had just purchased tires 2 years ago and only driven 6k miles. They said that her tires had uneven wear and that they could not just replace the tire that had a bubble in the side wall because the tread depth difference would damage the 10 year old Mazda's transmission. A front wheel drive limited slip car isn't gonna be hurt by a tire that has 2/32nds more tread than the other 3. Further more that tire should be place on the rear of the car. This place is horrible, I went back and picked up the 3 tires that they said had uneven wear, they are perfectly fine and pictures below. The sales person was very upset with me for requesting the tires. Tried to explain themselves, there is no explanation only that you exploited a female senior citizen by playing on her fears. Shame on you

Janelle and Dan were both very helpful and communicative throughout my car repair process. They replaced my tires efficiently and I am happy with the service I received. They have temporary store hours posted on a paper on their front door that do not match the hours posted online, so be aware of this before planning your visit. I ended up arriving before they opened due to this mismatch, but was able to use place my key in the drop box and leave without having to wait around until they opened.Service: Tires

Quoted over $700 for tires and $535 for shocks and mounts. I called around and found same quality tires for $540...suddenly they said we'll match that. Hmm...why didn't you just give me a decent price to begin with? Oh yeah, because the salesman puts the extra in his pocket? I took the car to 2 other places...the shocks were NOT bad neither were the mounts. So they were going to OVERCHARGE by nearly $200 for the tires and tried to sell repairs I didn't need. When I called back I got some lip service about how "I didn't say you needed the shocks now, I said we'd recommend it"...no...not what he said. Pretty slimy. Now I'm guessing I probably only needed 2 tires and not 4, and even still I would rather have given the business to a trustworthy place. BUYER BEWARE! ...unless you want to overpay and pay for repairs that you don't need.Service: Tires

Do not use this place if you are a woman. They will scam you. I went in because I had a flat and needed one tire. I asked them to replace it, and match the tire. I have never done this before and I had no idea how much a tire should cost. Anyway, I go home to my dad about a week after and he is applauded that I was charged 300$ for one tire. He also went to check the tire and said they didn t match the tire to my others and they put the most expensive tire they could on there. If you are a young woman, have a man go with you because they will take advantage of your lack of knowledge.Service: Tires

I needed new front tires. My regular mechanic recommend this place. I called a few other places and they quoted me a few hundred dollars higher (one place over double) for comparable tires. When I got there, they discovered the quoted tires were not in stock. They made it right, put on better ones, and honored their initial quote price. Seating area was clean. Reception and service was very good. Service was timely. I would not hesitate going back in the future.

Fantastic experience. I'm not from the area and had a tire blow out on the interstate. Due to the time of the day I was concerned that I would not be able to have a tire put on. After speaking with the Juliette, she said as long as I was able to be towed there before it was too late they would be able to put a tire on.When I arrived with the tow truck they were able to put a new tire on in about 30 minutes, which was a huge help, having 2 small children with. This place is rip off. I purchased tires here 8/22 and 3 months later one of the tires was seriously under inflated 20 psi. I took the car in, they didn t find any puncture or visible problem, but still charged me for a service call when the defect is with their product. Then the clerk had the audacity to blame the problem on me! I must have done something to cause this. If I can t get this rectified, I ll never go back and I ll never buy Firestone again.Service: Tires

I wouldn't even make an appointment with them because of how nasty the receptionist was. Why do people work in customer service when they have such horrible attitudes?! It is truly beyond me.

Definitely would not recommend. They overcharge their prices and are very uncommunicative. They said they were going to have parts for me to fix the car and weeks went by without any word while my car fell apart. I ask them to take a look again and they charge me and pretend I didn't ask them to get the parts in. Employees there don't seem to really care about fixing your car- just trying to get you to spend as much money as possible.

I needed a last minute alignment done and they got me in immediately. I have a car that s lowered along with other non factory suspension components and they had no problem with any of that. Tim, the tech who performed the work was phenomenal. Made sure everything was just as it should be and made great conversation in the process. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their car going straight down the road again!FOLLOW UP 4/13/2022Took another car to these guys for an alignment. Techs spent more time looking under my hood and poking around my car as well as commenting on my license plate than they did doing the actual alignment. After waiting over an hour I get the printout and all they adjusted was front toe. Didn t touch rear toe or front camber which are both adjustable and since I JUST had the front camber bolts out I know they weren t seized up. All that for $90 and my steering whee is still of. I won t be going back.

I dropped a tire off for repair on Saturday 10/30/21. I was told I would receive a call on Sunday 10/31/21. I never received a call. I waited until 4pm on Monday 11/01/21. I drove back to Firestone only to find my tire in the same place I left it on Saturday. Nobody in the lobby to greet me. The technicians watched me load my tire like a bunch of monkeys in a cage. Never questioned, never offered assistance. Worst service ever
