I used to always give my business to this location first. Not anymore. I came in for an ignition switch a few weeks ago and the employee refused to sell me one after telling me that I shouldn't be working on my own ignition switch and it needs to go back to the dealer. I then had a battery die on me. I called in to check the warranty. I was told it was still covered. I brought it in and again was told it was covered. There was an issue and the employee then decided to skip over me in line. After everyone else was taken care of, he attempted to complete my transaction. He then told me it was out of warranty and that "things change with batteries". I don't know how things change after purchase. Off to autozone I go.

Nobody that works there knows what they are doing. Went to return a battery that went bad within warranty and that said it right on the battery and receipt and they wouldn't. They wanted me to let them keep the battery for 2 days so they could run some test to make sure it was bad. Ended up going to another advanced where they load tested it and gave me another battery. Another thing is you want to rent a tool from then you don't have forget it because the people that work there doesn't know what they rent out and don't want to help you

The employees are so kind and they go above and beyond the call of duty to help customers. They not only helped me find products for a damaged battery (leaking battery acid) but also did complementary battery maintenance. Also, when online order was not going through, they did the cleaning with the products free of charge. Could not be more grateful for the kindness of this location. They have successfully converted me as a customer long-term, as I used to go to AutoZone, but now will go to Advanced Auto Parts! Well done guys you all do a great job!

Many thanks to the two gentlemen who changed my daughter s battery in the Honda Civic when I was across the country. She said they were nice, very quick, and professional. Customer service goes along way!

Came in to ask if they sell paint for cars told me yes pointed to the direction but no additional assistance stood for 5 minutes still nothing! Guess black customers aren t welcome??

Great service and help. Came in to get battery and starter tested. They were able to have the test sent back to my email and recommended which batteries to get. Their manager Brandy is very helpful and welcoming. Puts customers first!

I stopped into the shop after experiencing car trouble down the road. The employees (Ricky and Ron) were incredibly helpful and thorough when checking my car for problems, even though they knew the tests they were running may not lead to me purchasing anything from the store. I really appreciated their efforts and the friendly service.

Waited 15 minutes for diagnostic test only to find out that the guy that was supposed to give the diagnostics test left to go off site to another customer. I was told by the worker in the store that the off site customer was more important. I was a paying customer it wasn't like i was there for the free diagnostic. I will never do business with this Auto Zone again!

Advanced was my auto store of choice, was. Spend quite a bit throughout the years, asked today 6-19-21 at 2pm to have my emissions codes checked because my engine check light is on... I was told they can do it but they wont provide me the codes or results. I asked what is the sense in scanning it then, told me I'd be better of taking it to a mechanic because they can scan it but not let me know what the readout is lol. Glad there is a lot of competition where I can spend my money...

Bethe at store #5727... It was about an hour before closing I had just spent the day moving my daughter into her college apartment. It was a hot muggy day and I was very tired and ready to go home. I went out to start the car just to find out the battery had died. Was able to jumpstart it but knew that it was at the end of it span. I had work early the next morning and would not have time to replace the battery. Called several places and was given out rages quotes. My car is 20 years old I did not want to invest too much money. Called advance auto customer n Kent Ohio talk to Bethe. She did not give me the runaround she understood when I told her it was a 20-year-old car and I just needed an economy battery. She said they had one in stock and would even install it for me. That is exactly what she did. I came into the store she immediately came out test of the battery to be sure it was the battery and not possibly the alternator. She also found out that the battery had a hole in it and had been leaking sulfuric acid. She quickly installed the battery while the second technician completed the purchase. we were ready to go in a very short time. You cannot put a price on the appreciation I had for the service and talents that Bethe gave us that late afternoon.

We came by the exchange our brake pads because they new ones were categorized wrong. Rick and Rob went above and beyond to find the right ones, let me borrow their personal tools and matched he price on the correct ones even bought they were supposed to cost more. So helpful!

I bought ignition coil 6 months ago and it broken right now and when I tried returned it they asked to get a mechanic shop report about the ignition coil and you know how much that cost me. I hope you tell me right way to use.

The employee at kent Main Street store on sept 5th 2016 10am (no name tag) had no clue about what i wanted. He was disrespectful, racist and extremely rude. The customer service not to mention was dissatifactory. In addition, the store closed before time with the "open" sign still ON, on the previous day having me to make 2 trips to get my order and ofcourse ruining my day with the exceptionally ignorant and pathetic service. I will never shop at this store and will recommend everyone to AVOID this store. This is not the first time I have experienced such behavior and service at this store.Have better employee's, people who have an understanding and knowledge about auto parts. These are people who dont have the decency to talk to customers and offer good service.

The guys here hate their lives. I always end up waiting at least 5 minutes before I even find an employee to ask a question, or last time I was dropping off used oil, me and another customer waited 10 minutes and when the guy came up from the back (we were obviously making noise, talking about how nobody was there, even though we could hear him right behind the wall behind the counter), he acted as if he was shocked and seemed annoyed. This is the second time in a row I had a bad experience, I will be avoiding this place like the plague from now on.

To all the hard workers out there trying to save some money by doing simple maintenance yourself, if you have not run across this, be mindful of your vehicles manufacturing location when asking for parts. The "help" at the counter may not ask you, as in my case, and give you the wrong parts. I am not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to cars, and I missed this as well. Apparently it matters where your vehicle was manufactured, why is beyond me. After learning of this, I went to the website and saw the note myself, "for vehicles manufactured in..." Lesson learned! But if I can see it, I know they can. I would give this three stars, but three trips to the store, and still not one time did they ask... A simple brake change is all I needed, not a road trip in a buddies car.

Went here to purchase liquid wrench penetrating fluid. The website said it was in stock. I got there and absolutely none on the shelf. Why bother having a website when the info is incorrect?

Local. But I know it's not there fault about the covid virus but they aren't allowed to help with your car. I needed brake light bulbs replaced and I have med.issues but they still couldn't help! I found out on YouTube how to and I was able but it was a struggle.

Stopped in to pickup some oil. Have a car that requires 0W20 and an OEM filter - unlike most stores (all not just Advanced) - here they don't jump down your throat and act as if they have a Ph.D in knowledge. Laid back but still HELPFUL - a rarity in the parts store world, and something I appreciate. I will return to this specific location because of this.
