I am curious as to what an engine performance test is and what was the result. Invoice says tech TY did the test. Who approved the test at 7:30 AM on 2/20? Cost was $171.57. I did not get a phone call at that time. Please call me and let me know what you tested and the results. If I am not able to answer, please leave a message with the details. Thank you

Fantastic and trustworthy. Easy to work with, great communication. They keep you up to date with your vehicle along the way. I will be taking my vehicle to them from here on out. Also, sending out Thank You cards with a little gift inside. Great company!!!

Absolutely amazing customer service and communication. I wasn t expecting my car until Tuesday latest Wednesday. Had my car back same day! They were able to handle a complex to most shops transmission fill and flush for my CVT Subaru. Called all over and nobody was equipped to handle. Dealer wanted an astronomical amount. Also Below estimated cost as well! Will forever be a customer. Highly recommended!Service: Transmission

I recently took my car to Stringer Auto Repair for a routine maintenance check. Within just a few hours they had a total diagnosis for me, and to my surprise, they only diagnosed 2 things wrong with the car. They could have said anything they wanted, but only 2 things needed attention . I had them repair those 2 items and I had my car back by the middle of the afternoon. I went in for an oil change. Great first experience. It was like a family reunion. Great conversations with staff and other customers. Helped to pass the time and my car was completed in no time at all. Great price and a list of recommended maintenance was explained and even printed out with charges. No pressure, just recommendations to inform. Love Stringer Auto Repair. They have definitely earned my loyalty.

Upon first impressions and the kind service of the employees, I strongly recommend visiting this auto repair shop.They even fixed an item on my PT cruiser that I was having difficulty with, in a few seconds! (I had just been using my trunk incorrectly--they showed how I was accidentally leaving the trunk partially open and tripping the sensor. )They also have a coffee station with creamer (the good French vanilla kind) and sugar! And one of the employees went out of their way to drive me back home afterwards because I had to drive a bit out of my way to visit this location.Just know parking may be limited, but they said you can just pull straight up to the curb if you can't find a spot. A busy auto repair shop is a good sign.

Stringer Auto is always remarkably kind and quick in their service. Plus their customer service is that of a small town feel which I can appreciate. I ve been going to them for about a year now, and every time is a wonderful experience. There is even a little diner that is walking distance where you can go to eat while waiting. 5stars!!Service: Auto maintenance

Today I had my first experience with Stringer Auto Repair. I was blown away with how quickly they got my issues solved! The price was so fair for all the problems I had. I was referred by a friend and I am so glad I was taken care of by them. Sean was so helpful and I really appreciated being able to have detailed text links sent about the issues and how they were going to be fixed. Along with that Sean was so helpful in many different aspects (getting me a loaner vehicle and helping me with a coupon).I would 100% recommend them, and I actually already have recommended them to another friend today for their car needs!Can t wait to feel safe in my vehicle again!Services: Brakes, Auto brake replacement, Battery

They were super nice and organized! They take photos of your car when they tell you wants wrong and they give a explanation on whats wrong and what needs fix and they give a page for estimate for it all! Customer is 10/10! My neighbor recommended Stringer. I needed a new battery and brake assessment.The personnel were professional and responsive. I really liked receiving a text with pictures of vehicle assessment.Shawn picked me up and brought me back to the shop.The waiting room was clean with complementary beverages and maybe snacks, can't remember.Very impressed with Shawn and the entire experience!Will continue to take my business to Syringer. I took my car there for a simple oil change, and aside from their very reasonable prices, their service was outstanding. They did everything they could think of to accommodate my travel schedule and went above an beyond for my convenience. Shawn is always extremely nice and understanding. We really appreciate him and his services. However, we only ever get oil changes here because this shop is out of their minds on pricing.They tried to charge me $570 for rear brakes and $722 FOR A TUNE UP when I took my car to a different reputable auto repair shop they did my brakes for $393 and tune up was $250. Where is all this money going that you are charging? They also told me in December that my battery was critical and wouldn t make it through the winter. They wanted so much for the battery that I declined. They tested the SAME battery last week and said it was excellent????? Where is the disconnect here? I m very confused with the operations behind this shop and have since came across others with similar experiences. We are moving on to a different shop with our cars. The best place ever to get a diagnostic!! Went to 4 places including a dealership that couldn't see or find an issue with my truck, even though I'd get a loud noise sounding like it was bottoming out when I hit a bump. They found the issue and was able to get it fixed. This is the 2nd vehicle they've done for me. First one I had to 3 places and couldn't find issues and they found it. They are fair priced and do GREAT WORK. I'll definitely recommend to others.Service: General repairs

I appreciated the professionalism of Shawn at Stringer Auto. My repair was scheduled quickly, I was updated by text as the repair progressed and the final cost was reasonable for the work completed. What a great first impression of this shop! Casey did a phenomenal job replacing the bearing and hub, installing new rear brake pads, and changing the filter. He also took the time to thoroughly inspect the rest of my vehicle and take pictures where need be. It only took a few hours for the repairs and replacements. All of the employees were friendly and professional. The repair cost was lower than expected and very competitive. I received a referral to this shop as I was looking for another place to take my Volvo XC90 than Byers. They were very responsive and honest when I asked questions. They provided me with all information up front and called before doing anything. They fix the leaking in my car AC unit. It works great now. They send me messages and updated me on the cost and time. My car was ready in a few hours! Very professional! I highly recommend!

I have been taking my car to Stringer for several years now. I find them to be honest and trustworthy. Recently, I was having trouble charging my portable oxygen and phone in the car. Although I have a maintenance and repair appointment scheduled in a few weeks, the crew at Stringer s was able to squeeze me in and check the problem and replace the fuses for me. Much appreciated! Was on my way to work and my battery light came on. I was able to drop my car off and a diagnostic was done. My alternator and battery were doing a tug of war. At any rate, they both needed to be replaced the same day.Thank you Shawn and Crew. I really appreciate you all. Great service
