Let me tell you, Denny and Charles are the greatest, most helpful people I have dealt with. While out in 29 Palms for a military training exercise, is was able to work with them and secure and purchase a vehicle for my wife that she fell in love with. They understood my situation and the distance and the lack of phone communications, but still made time to work with me. The true professionalism and customer service is beyond outstanding. Thank you again and we ll see you gentlemen once I get back. Semper Fi!

The greatest to do it. I m all the way in Florida but THE MAN Charles knows how to make me feel like I m in Ohio. Charles, if you are reading this. YOU ARE THE MAN. Honestly a great group of people that likes cars just like me. They sold me my dream car and I couldn t be any happier. Every request I had like pictures or known flaws with the car, they had it right there. They got me approved for a loan when nobody else would for a 20+ year old car. I really appreciate y all. Had an amazing experience here! Charlie had met me on a Sunday when they were closed since we were traveling from outta town. He was so responsive,friendly, and professional with any questions I had. There was a small issue after I brought the car home and he was more than willing to help me with it! Great guys here and great cars! I'm so in love with my new car!

I highly recommend Denny Dotson Automotive. Ask for Charlie, he was great to work with. He didn't mess around. He gave me a good offer on my car (no negotiating, thank goodness), and the car we purchased was priced reasonably. Charlie answered my phone call at 9 am and I drove the car home by that afternoon. Charlie understood that I was coming from out of town and he made sure I could drive away with the car that day. He was willing to work with my local bank and had us out of there in no time. I was nervous to buy a car without my husband present, but I felt that Charlie was honest and would not steer me wrong. Thank you Denny Dotson Automotive, we love our new family car.

A dream come true experience!!!!These guys are great and not pushy at all. Charlie talked to me about several vehicles there and my options getting out of a leased vehicle. I felt no pressure when I finally made a decision after almost a month of me making a decision.Even when I did, everyone here was nice and willing to negotiate within reason. I will definitely be coming to Denny Dotson again in the future.

Best experience purchasing a car I've had. I recently bought a Honda S2000 from this dealership and their customer service is impeccable!They gave me as much detail about the vehicle as possible and on top of that, they went above and beyond to make sure I could drive the car off the lot the same day.If I didn't live 300 miles away, Denny Dotson would be my go-to dealership and one I would recommend to all my family/friends.

I too thought this was the easiest purchase I've ever made. A completely different buying experience - nothing but positive. I found the a 1999 Porsche at their dealership and called them to discuss setting up a deal which included trading in my vehicle. Coming from Michigan, I hoped it would be an easy experience. That is exactly what happened. We came to an agreement quickly and the deal was done. The after sale support has been off they charts. These guys follow through on their commitments and always put the customer first.I would absolutely recommend Denny Dotson Automotive and I would definitely do business with them again. Thanks for the great experience!

Really nice cars most of the time but owner was not very pleasant towards a family member that went there inquiring about a car awhile back. He was pretty young at the time and the owner just blew him off because he thought oh "just a kid that can't afford anything on his lot"!! Boy was he dead wrong, that same young gentleman drives some of the nicest and most sought after vehicles anyone could ever want so to the owner of Denny Dotson, YOUR LOSS!!

My wife and I had a fantastic experience here. We live over an hour away and wanted our mechanic to look over the vehicle before purchase. Charlie was happy to talk to the owner and they allowed us to keep the car overnight to give time for our mechanic to inspect it. They were very kind throughout the whole process and never once tried to push a sale onto us. We highly recommend Denny Dotson Automotive.

My wife and I drove 4 hours to purchase a Z06 and trade in our Jeep SRT. The car was in excellent condition and our deal was exactly as promised (via multiple emails/phone calls) when we arrived. Denny and Charlie are car guys that truly enjoy what they do. If you come across a vehicle they have do not hesitate to contact them about it. We received a great deal, we were treated right, and love our new toy! Thanks guys!

I recently purchased an M3 from Denny Dotson Automotive, and WOW, my experience could not have been better!!! Every part of the process was truly exceptional, and they were a pleasure to work with! Denny and Charlie even went above and beyond to facilitate the installation of a custom interior for my M3 just to make sure I got what I was looking for, and I could not be happier with the outcome!!Thank you for the fair negotiation, great communication, and for making this process so easy! Updated review. I was able to purchase the Jeep I wanted, but I had several issues with the lack of follow-through with the dealership. 1) The oil wasn't changed and the anti-freeze was low, 2) There was a leak with the hard top which caused the rear and passenger side carpet to be soaked, 3) Months after I purchased the vehicle, while at the BMV to get my yearly sticker, I found out they hadn't transferred my plates. I was driving on plates still tied to the car I traded in months before--illegally! No, I didn't call the dealership, I shouldn't have to. I'm just glad my vehicle runs well. I was able to fix the water leak in the hard top with a couple dabs of silicone, so that wasn't a big deal. In all, I can't give more than two stars. Would I go back? Maybe, if they had the vehicle I wanted and it was the right price and in the right shape, but I would be extra cautious on the purchase. From what I can tell, I'm not the only one who experienced these types of issues (see other reviews). Case in point, while I was there a guy buying a Porsche noticed power steering fluid was low and the owner had to fill it before he drove off in it. Stuff like that shouldn't be overlooked, but it seems to be a frequent occurrence. Granted, the vehicle was sold as-is and it was up to me to check and make sure things were right before the purchase. That was my fault. What wasn't my fault was lack of follow-through from the dealership on the plate transfer. Did I get the vehicle I wanted in the shape I wanted it? Yes. Would I purchase from Denny again? Maybe, but I would go through the vehicle with a fine-toothed comb just to make sure it met my expectations before purchase; you should do that with any used vehicle. I am giving two stars on the review, because I expect better from a dealership. The guys and the owner were nice and cordial and gave me the deal I wanted, but the other half of that is follow-through and making sure the vehicle and the customer are taken care of. Despite these issues, I'm happy with my vehicle.

Took my friend to go buy the car of his dreams, and unfortunately my car's transmission started acting up. They recommended places for me to go, let me sit in the AC and helped me find a good place to get my car repaired. Awesome dealership, will be buying from them if they ever acquire an RX-8!

Purchased a 2007 Audi S4. I traveled from Long Island NY to see the vehicle described on the Website. I exchanged several emails with Denny Dotson, who responded timely to each email and answered all questions. Since I was visiting my daughter at The OSU, I decided to take a chance and go see the Audi. WHen I got there, the car looked great!! It was everything Denny described, and the vehicle was very well detailed and ready to be seen. I took the car for a drive, came back to the dealership and bought it. The car was perfect!!! It looked great and ran great!! The car was clearly very well maintained and cared for by prior owners, and Denny assured me of this on his emails. I am usually a skeptic and a worrier, so I figured something would not be right with the car. .I had a good feeling about Denny Dotson from his open, candid and honest responses on email, so I just had a feeling inside that all would be good, and it was! I drove the car home for a 10 hour trip, and it ran "first class" all the way home!! So today (2 weeks later), I decided to go by the Audi dealer to program a new key that I bought, and while I had the car there I met a friend that worked there. He did me a favor and looked at the car. Besides the car looking BEAUTIFUL and a perfect example of an S4 with 6 speed manual, the dealer also said the car was clean mechanically, just as it looks on the outside. I gave the dealer approval to check the fluids and do an oil change if needed, and his response was that he would love to change the oil and charge me, but the oil looked perfect and like honey!! He was impressed with the car, just like I was. I felt so good about the dealers comments, I decided to write a review for the 1st time in my life.Nice job Denny Dotson!!! If all your cars are like mine, then you have a FIRST CLASS dealership!! I let Denny know 2 weeks in advance I would be coming, and the vehicle was sitting and waiting for me when I arrived. There was no pressure and no tactics, I felt very comfortable with Denny and his staff and so did my wife and daughter. I was very impressed and Denny worked with me as best he could on pricing and we both felt it was a fair deal for the quality car I bought. Thanks Denny Dotson, you were awesome to work with!! Make sure all your cars are like mine, and every customer will feel the same way I do!! Excellent Dealership with a lot of beautiful cars!! Worth the trip from Long Island NY!! SW

Bought my 2014 Audi S6 from here a year ago, and it has been a great car. Great customer service, and one of the best car buying experience I've ever had. Even got some service done to the car before I purcahse it. Would love to purchase my next car here.

Beware. Untrustworthy; a very poor experienceI sincerely wish this review were quite the opposite of what it is, and that I would be singing praises of my experience here instead of recounting a negative one. It s certainly not my intention to slander this dealership nor its people, but I do think it s important for potential buyers to know what they might be getting into.Summary: I live in Chicago, and did all of the necessary due diligence prior to going to see the vehicle in Ohio checked out Carfax, Autocheck, compared prices, and negotiated a reasonable deal over the phone with the dealership. I took a full day off of work and spent it in vain, since the car turned out to be a mess, requiring $11k to repair. The dealership could ve been up front with me, before I made all of that investment into going and seeing it.It is difficult to believe that the dealership didn t know about these major issues as they were trying to sell the vehicle to me; if they didn t know about them, then that s a whole other problem in and of itself either bad of heart, or bad of head. Regardless, it s bad.The car was marketed as being in impeccable condition and looked great on the outside; however, when I took it out for a test drive and looked underneath the hood, there were major oil leaks all over the engine. A visit to the mechanic and the unbiased opinion of 4 different mechanics there confirmed that vehicle would need approximately $11k to make it run reliably, from changing the turbo to the oil separator system, to brakes and rotors.The problems were so glaringly evident that I would not be willing to purchase the vehicle even if they offered to put in significant money for the repairs. No negotiating when there s no trust. When I called the deal off, they didn t even try to sell it. I believe that they are waiting for the next person to make that mistake.In the end, I think that their sales model is to take advantage of people who are so set on purchasing a great looking car, that they don t think about inspecting it, and trust in the dealership s image. In my case, that would have been a major and very costly mistake.Buyer beware.

I don t regularly go by what some people say all the time about reviews . Until I seen one review from someone and the dealers response to them! I didn t come across anywhere on the website that I was looking at. But got me thinking when they say that cars are sold as is? and is not look at by a service department? Well how can you sell a car that you haven t even looked at. Just my opinion. I will not be a customer

Purchased a s2000 this new years with them. Bought it all the way from California so you imagine how much we were on the phone with questions I had. But they all were very helpful and genuine when helping me, making the transaction smooth and easy. So I got my car the other day and I love it! Its everything in the pictures and more! Low ball offer on trade in, didnt take my name phone number or anything. Ignored messages regarding a car on their lot and refused to even entertain me on selling me the car. Said my car was worth xx,xxx and let me walk out without even discussing a sale. Not sure if its because im young and they didnt think i was a serious buyer or what but the 3 other new cars at our house might say otherwise. My money will go to a business who appreciates my time and money.

Buyer Beware!!! Do not even consider anything from Denny Dotson Automotive. The only reason Denny Dotson gets one star is because it won't let you give him ZERO stars. He certainly earned ZERO stars. Denny would not return my phone calls, Denny would not even return my text messages. I'm trying to buy a $43,000 car from out of state and he won't even answer a call. The only thing he wants is for you to pay in full for the car upfront and 'trust' him until you can visit his dealership and pick up the car. How can you trust a guy that won't get back with you.

Great people, great atmosphere, not your typical car buying experience. I had a dealership I used to go to to get my cars, but they moved out of state, I have been looking for someone to go to when I need to buy a car and Denny Dotson is the place, they make the car buying experience easy. As long as Denny Dotson is around that is where I will go to purchase my cars.

Disclaimer:: I have shared my honest experience with the Dealer and my car buying. The reader should make their best judgement about how they would to use this review. My opinion is a sign post onlyLet me cut the chase.... make every effort to avoid this dealership!!! I brought a car which on inspection from Car Mechanic ,was entirely damaged , unsafe to drive and mechanic quoted me ~$7500 to make it safe. If you are still wondering why read further. If you just like things shiny from outside then don't be surprised to find it broken on the inside :) !! I am very sure this review will disappear soon because it is the truth about this dealer let me give you some reasons why.Well let me start with the positives to start with well they do deserve at least 1 star for this but wait till the negativesa) very attractive webpage and pictures taken in a great location (although the lot is nothing like this)b) Lot has good list of even exotic cars (mostly from auctions)c) Will just give you one paper for your car buying (not complete)Now the meat of the matter1) Money- Their cars are on purpose priced at least a $1000 or $1500 more than the maximum KBB value.2) 30-35 years of experience in the industry --- so easily they are ahead of the game. All talk, very persuasive, will not budge on the deal and you always end up losing.3) Trade-in is a bad idea , don't do it coz they will always offer you less on what your vehicle is worth anyway.4) Not a single time did they return a call. They won't so if you are from out of town it's an easy answer. Especially when you say there are issue with the car you just bought.5) There is no inspection report done or sheet which is mandatory to be given when you are selling a car to someone.6) There is no buy back at all and even if an exchange is offered unless you are ready to lose at least a couple of thousand $$$7) The only reply you will get from the owner is I am not the manufacturer and now you learnt a lesson for life about how not to buy a car trusting any car dealer8) you will get a car with more mileage than advertised9) You are on your own, no warranty10) If you are not a car savvy person then you are in for a ride.I was sold a car with lower than safe thread wear , worn out brake pads, broken engine, broken transmission etc. etc. Very very dishonestIn short if you have fun losing your money for good or want to drive around with a shiny new vehicle thinking you got a deal. Congrats!!you have been successfully duped. Now wake up smell some coffee you have been just cheated!!!

Denny Dotson Automotive is a great previously owned vehicle dealer. Down to earth, not pushy, informative, and they do not deal in junk! From Ferrari to a Chevy pickup. Great folks and I look forward to dealing with them soon.

Was told the truck i was going to look at was in great condition and ran perfect. Drove 7+ hours to look at. The first thing i noticed was the heat wasn t working. It was also the dead of winter in negative degree weather. I wasnt going to let that be the deal breaker and drove it home anyways. I decided to stop half way back and stay at a hotel for the night. The next morning, still negative degree weather, the truck wouldn t start. Had to pay a tow service to come jump it. Ended up getting it home and replacing both batteries which where junk in the first place and it still had problems starting. So i replaced the starter and same problems. Long story short the truck is now in a shop trying to figure out whats wrong. Do not do business with these guys.
