I went with my brother to help him purchase a new 2023 Ford Explorer ST and make sure he got a good deal. (I have been in sales for over 20 plus years). The salesman, sales manager and finance manager were all great to work with, because they didn't play any games with the advertised pricing and financing deals thru Ford motor credit.Overall it was a great experience for my brother's new vehicle purchase. Aaron Wolford was my salesman, very professional and friendly, he asked what waslooking for, then showed me several options. Mr. Wolford answered all of my questions, when it was time to speak with the sales manager, Mr. White, he was also professional and friendly. I asked about the loyalty rewards, Mr. White said he looked and didn't find my name. I smiled and asked if they spelled it correctly, he spelled it for me and that was the problem. I received my loyalty rewards which made the price acceptable to me. I drove the car home. The facility was very clean, all employees were friendly. I was impressed. Thank you.

To whom it may concern:This review is to explain my experience with Mark Porter Ford. I also believe that most of these reviews that are done by people who are never happy, and many are just overlooked. But like I said earlier I am just going to write this to explain my experience with this dealership and you can be the judge, and with hopes you have a better experience than I have had.Back in late October of 2023 I purchased a 2021 Ford F250 from Mark Porter Ford. Before purchasing this truck from this dealership, I looked around. I have an office in Columbus Ohio, and I knew there were way more options in the city then there where in the small town of Jackson and from my experience you always find better deals in bigger cities. So, I did find a truck in Columbus, and it was a year newer and with half of the miles on it, but it did not have as many options on it. At that point I really did not care, I just needed a truck to tow with. But after some consideration and just moving somewhat close to the area I decided to give the local dealer a try to see if Mark Porter would match the price, and they did after begging me to buy it from them. So, to shorten this basically the sales staff was good up until this point. We made the deal my wife and I went back into sign all the paperwork got into the finance office and that is where the fun started. When The finance guy asked about extended warranties, we turned him down then he started to talk down to us, informing us of how much everything cost and all these what ifs like the truck we are purchasing was a pile of junk with forty thousand plus miles on it.We are both in our fifties and have purchased several vehicles in our lifetime, so we knew what to do but being talked down to like this was unacceptable.Moving on from that before we purchased the vehicle, we had a few requests like the vehicle to be cleaned up because it was delivered to us dirty something about the detailer was out sick or something, and the second thing was a chip in the front grill that needed to be fixed. The sales manger agreed to it all and was put on the closing paperwork. So, a few weeks went by I called our salesperson in November 2023 to schedule the cleanup and to make the chip repair on the front grill in January 2024 when we would be gone for a week. I also called the salesperson back a week before dropping the truck off as a courtesy reminder to make sure the work would be done seeing how we were going out of the country, and they would not be able to reach us.So, we returned from our trip to hear that nothing had been done to our truck and that the person who was doing the work was out sick. Personally, I do not think this is an acceptable excuse with two months notice, and a week to complete the work, not to mention the time to drive back and forth an hour and twenty minutes each way is a problem. So, nothing was done and the trip to drop it off and then to have to come back and get it is a problem. Miles on my wife s car extra miles on the truck and five hours of our time wasted. So, we called to talk to the salesperson she apologized. So, the next day we picked up the truck and I informed her that this was disappointing with all the notice they had they could not have outsourced the repairs? She told me at that point the manager would be calling, which never happened. All the salesperson did was text us back and apologize again and offer us a fifty-dollar gift card. So, I called the manager myself the next day and explained the situation and I told him how I felt that the dealership made their staffing problem my problem and that was unacceptable. The manager decided it was a good idea to inform me that it was not a problem for me, that it was merely an inconvenience for me and that he would give me a car to drive while mine was back in the shop. The point being I did not spend this kind of money to be told how I felt, to be talked down to by the finance person, and giving excuses like I am sorry after giving you two months notice to make a minor paint repair.

Had a new battery put in my wife's ford fusion. Price is similar to other places. There is a 3% surcharge if you pay with a credit card. The new dealership and service center are quite nice. Staff was very helpful. Waiting room is furnished with comfortable furniture, a couple vending machines, and a TV to entertain you while waiting. If you have kids with you a playroom is available as well. Public restrooms are available.

Fast, easy and polite. Im a busy mom and oil changes are a little bit challenging with a little one, I choose to have my SUV picked up so I could save some time and get ahead for the day. They picked my car up, let me know when they got to the dealership with my SUV and when it was done and that they were on there way...

Well unfortunately service after the sell is a huge thing to us so for that reason we will never again use Mark Porter Ford to buy any more vehicles. The main manager is not understanding and says our problem is not a problem but an inconvenience to us. Well no sir it is a problem so do not downgrade our issues because you want to make yourself feel better about the business. We bought locally thinking they would be great but again very disappointed but no one cares. So buyers beware they are not the best at service after the sell. Once they have your money they are done with ya!! Signed a lost customer forever

My daughter actually did all the telephone calls and getting me a great deal with you all! I have spoken on the phone once and emails this morning. Your staff are really great and so easy to work with by even getting me the car/color I wanted by having it transferred in from another dealer. Probably my best experience in buying a new SUV!

I'd been looking to replace my 2014 Ford truck with a newer model. I wanted specific equipment and certain colors. I ran many searches on the internet and found this truck on Mark Porter Ford's website. When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by Melissa, told her what truck I was interested in, she went and got it and we took a test drive. The wife and I decided we would like to purchase it if the numbers were satisfactory. The price of the truck was already lower than others I'd seen and they made me what I felt was a generous offer for my trade. Because we arrived after 5pm on Thursday we had to wait until Friday for the loan approval. That arrived quickly Friday. We went Saturday morning and picked up the truck. Though the whole process we had constant contact with Melissa who is the consumate professional. Gary in finance was just as professional and easy to work with. I have no problem recommending them to anyone who's looking to buy another vehicle. Matter of fact, I already have.

This review is long overdue. I want to thank Chane Porter, Gary Green and especially Drew Beman. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Mark Porter Ford and both times I was treated with the utmost respect. The numbers I was quoted were the same when I arrived to sign the papers. I need to mention that I traveled from the Toledo, OH area. I can't speak for others but I will continue to drive down to purchase future vehicles. Mark Porter's honesty and the way they treat this customer will keep me returning to buy vehicles in the future. Thank you all for your great service

The sales lady was very sweet Kylee. She really tried her hardest. Her supervisor and the finance manager were a whole different story. The car deal was all over the place. I was approved then I wasn't. They didn't use the approval I got through capital one off their own website but never explained why. Set me up with a second car deal but then was told the car was already being purchased then it wasn't even on their lot then later found out it was in shop being fixed. Just felt like one hand didn't know what the other hand was doing. If it wasn't for Kylee I would of just gave up and walked away. Then the next thing I knew I was approved miraculously for the original car I wanted. It had a few dents and scratches I was told would be repaired. It's been 2 months and still waiting. But Kylee keeps updating me. The finance manager was pushy and got upset with me when I didn't want any of his warranties. So much for automy. Plus the internet deal was a fake. I wasn't able to skip payments for 90 days as they advertised. Come to find out it's only with certain banks. Mark porters was definitely an adventure. Would I do it again??? only if it was a car I felt like fighting for because they make you battle.

Brought my vehicle to Mark Porter Ford Jackson Ohio for a blower motor recall. Recall said overheating potential fire. They replaced the blower motor but said the pigtail, connector and resistor were bad and it will cost me $450 to fix and wasn't covered under the recall. I refused to pay! When I left the blower wasn't working. I bought a $12.95 connector off Amazon and replaced the the bad connector, now the fan, controls and different speeds all work. So the resistor wasn't bad! All I needed was a $12.95 connector. Mark Portor Ford Jackson Ohio tried to tell me the over heating blower didn't cause the melted connector. Anyone that knows electricity knows a motor getting hot has less resistance and will pull more amps which causes more heat etc.)The recall said overheating, melting smell, potential fire hazard. Never blew a fuse so that also shows the system doesn't have adequate protection. Poor troubleshooting on Mark Porter Ford for telling me the resistor was bad! Poor customer service! A $12.95 easy fix when they quoted $450!!
