Hudsons Automotive was recommended by a friend and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I recieved. The reception at the desk was friendly and upfront. I received an update from the shop after inspection to let me know the extent of the work that was needed. My vehicle was completed in a timely manner at a fair price and I am more than satisfied. I would recommend their service over the competition without a doubt.

All of my experience here at this company has been awesome. I like it that they're consistent and I like it that they are time managed. I like the fact that they're very personal and they care because when they came to my car I had a lot of things wrong with it and they actually sent me down and let me see what they did a lot of mechanics are not even indulging too detailed into anything anymore so I was extremely happy that I got to learn something and he took the time to show me what is they fixed. So yes I will recommend this company for your auto services.

My 2005 Toyota had a number of issues when I brought it in, and they did an excellent job fixing it. When they explained the issues to me, they did it in a way that really displayed their knowledge and experience.The total repair time took a couple days, so they loaned me a courtesy car to use until they were done, free of charge.Highly recommend.

zero stars !!!!!! Omg save yourself !!!!!!! read these reviews it is very important that you read all of these comments all of the reviews with the shop replying to customers and their concerns , because the customers are right !! spot on !!!! take your car for them to fix one or two simple things then you have four or five more added problems .. myself and my daughter has had a horrible experience with these people the guys should communicate more , funny , because one guy will say one price then . another guy will say another higher price then may be a third guy will throw in another even higher price smh .. Be careful !!!! and pay attention!!!! Write down everything they say so you will have your proof record the inside of your car record the outside of your car record your lights working record your windows working before you drop your car off !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pay attention to your indicator lights !!! if none was on before you dropped off the car, none should be on after you pick it up ,,,, Please !!!!!! Sad to say it was so hard for me to trust mechanics and now I will never trust another one . New cars for me and my children from here on out no more by here pay here where you have to go to a place like Hudsons and get completely fooled and taken advantage of!!!!! I will not be responding to anything. The men say from the shop they responses to me and my child was exactly how their responding to these people to these paying worried customers, in these reviews pay attention. !!!!! Smh

I made an appointment for a power steering leak. In August Hudson replaced the power steering return line, it had a rust hole. They found the issue, repaired it and called me to come pick up my Camary-no charge. Thank you, Scott, Amos and the entire staff.Mark

I would recommend this place for service. It is very remote and efficient. The office is very clean. The front door is in the front towards the road and the not the parking lot because we walked in the service shop. They were nice and redirected us. They had my car for a day and a half, which was fine. I was a little upset because I called the first day wanting an update, and the older guy told me that he had told me previously that he told us it would be a few days. For which both me and my sister did not hear. Maybe he forgot, i dont know thing's happen.I'm not too upset. He just seemed a little annoyed. They took the first day looking it over, which, of course that day it was pouring, and I had 3 issues wrong with my car. Mike called the next day to go over everything and was very patient with us, especially with multiple calls since we kept forgetting stuff. Although the older guy, when i tried calling couldn't answer me on if they took cash and transferred me, which did not go through , I had to call back and mike gave me an answer. Mike told us the issues that needed to be fixed and was very thorough in explaining in pricing, etc, and even said what would be more cost efficient. They spent the next half the day fixing it. They called right away when they had it done. Picking up the car was not bad. Mike was super nice and patient with us, told us everything about it. Ac recharge was about $199, cabin filter about $30 and battery replacement about $140 even let me keep the cores. It came out to $389. The older guy did have something to say about us having my breaks done there because it would be the same price as the person I had do my car. Which isn't exactly the case as it was cheaper, but I agree that Hudsons parts would probably be better. That would have been almost $400 that I didn't have for their break. My guy did it for about $220. Other than that, the experience was nice and overall not really upset.

I first suggested my father use Hudson s due to the overwhelming amount of great reviews from locals just by word of mouth. My sister and brother in law then started bringing their vehicles up. My wife and I have been bringing our vehicles to Hudson s for quite a while. Today, my daughter just brought her new car there to have them inspect it. The reason Hudson s has become the solution to my entire family s mechanical needs is because they aren t your run of the mill auto shop. They treat you like family when you walk through the door. They call you and take the time to explain what the issues are and wait for your understanding. As you are leaving and they say thank you , they truly mean it. They appreciate my business and I appreciate them even more because of that. It s nice having a shop around that isn t just all about the money. It s nice being able to trust what their mechanics tell you. It s also nice not having to price shop with other shops because I already know they are quoting fair, affordable prices. Can t recommend this shop enough!

Hudsons has always offered professional service, but now with their remodel, they are the complete package! I highly recommend Hudsons Automotive because they are never too busy for me to stop by and ask a quick question. They don't try to sell you things you don't need and I totally trust them to take care of all of my vehicles from personal to business.My kids also like to visit!

I was driving from Michigan to Florida and started hearing a noise from my tire only 2 hours into my trip. I assumed it was the dust cover that my husband to take off the other side. I went to multiple places to get the tire looked at and no one could for hours. Walmart tire ended up sending me to Hudson Automotive. I got there and they took me in right away just to fix the dust cover.Well, as soon as they took the tire off, they realized the tie rod and ball joint on the driver's side was shot and the tire was what was making the noise, not the dust cover! They quoted me right away and worked hard to get me in. Thankfully they had the parts needed for my car. They were able to even switch a tech to one who could do it faster since I had a long drive ahead of me.They got me out of there in just over 3 hours after doing both from tie rods and ball joints (they did not try to sell me both, I just chose to since I had a long trip ahead). They knew I was pinched for time and that I was at their mercy. They could have completely backed me in a corner and price gouged me. When I told my husband that price, he was shocked at what a good price it was overall! (We normally have my son or husband do most repairs so we're used to *really inexpensive* and we're pleasantly surprised by their price. )They quoted me on something that I had quoted at a few places near me and had a significantly better price. I will truly consider driving down the 2 hours to get reasonable, quick and great service like this!I hope people in Toledo know what a gem of a repair shop then have! I have told everyone how impressed I was with Hudson Automotive and I will continue to do so.Thank you!!!

The local dealer told us our 4Runner needed front brakes. It just seemed early to me so we stopped at Hudson s for a second opinion. Scott and his team confirmed that my wife s vehicle wasn t even close to needing front brakes. Thanks for the honest service! I found out 2 days before driving back from Ohio to South Carolina that I was very low on oil. My brother called and they got me in the next day. They also found that my front brakes needed to be replaced so that I would make it home safely. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend them!

I was on my way back to school and got about 2 hours away from home when my car broke down. I called Hudson s in a panic and they got me in the door right away. They were so helpful and kind to help a girl get back to college. I sat in their lobby for hours waiting for my parents to come rescue me. It turned out that I needed a new transmission but I had to get back to Savannah, GA and start school in a few days. In less than 24 hours they got me a new transmission and sent me on my way. What usually takes a few days to fix, the amazing guys at Hudson s did in less than a day. I m so thankful to have found this place and I made it back to Georgia safely the next day. Very kind, however, I wouldn t take my vehicle there and expect it back fixed. $200 to fix my misfire by re-gapping brand new, pre-gapped spark plugs and requiring a technician to come do it for them?? and 3-4 days to do so. Told misfire was gone, fixed absolutely nothing.The problem was a SENSOR, which I found out by simply plugging my car in to my own computer. Just crazy. Thankfully, I fixed it myself for $25 and in less than an hour.! Misfire be gone.Not to mention ignored what I really wanted the car looked at for first.. suspension problems. Did that myself too.DIY! Save the trouble.

My Subaru Forester died in the middle of an intersection east of Cleveland. Facing a possible engine replacement, I opted to have it towed to Hudson Automotive, my go-to car repair, about 165 miles. Even with the tow, I saved thousands and once again have a reliable vehicle than I can drive with confidence. Extremely courteous and kept me informed during the entire repair.
