Bought a lifted Jeep from these guys I thought was a great deal. It test drove well and so I made the purchase. First day home with it and the engine overheated so bad it was launching smoke and fumes several feet from the hood and I thought the engine had actually caught fire. Luckily the repair was covered by the 90 day warranty or I would have taken a total loss. Within 6 months the Jeep went through 2 radiator replacements and several other costly repairs that sunk me into a black hole of debt that I'm still working to get out of. I spent almost 2 years dumping thousands into this nightmare of a vehicle to keep it running. Every mechanic in town told me that the lift kit was done wrong and needed to be replaced (thousands more). I'm not pointing fingers but at the time of purchase Grey Horse told me they had a spare set of keys for the Jeep and they never produced them. The vehicle was officially stolen May 2023, clean get away, no forced entry. Worst deal of my life. Words cannot express the grief I have been through over this Jeep. I don't care how many people think they got a good deal from this place, me and my family have suffered tremendously over that deal. I have told everyone in this town what happened to me I don't care who is to blame people need to know

Hopefully this doesn't happen to often with these guys but when your paying upwards of 20k for a vehicle you would think they would spend the time to look over the vehicle and replace parts that need to need to be. Maybe actually notice the tail pipe of a vehicle was covered up and blocked from factory. 3 days in and I'm already buying $800 in parts that could of been covered by the warranty when they owned it. Not very trust worthy if you ask me and over priced for stupid reasons.

I just recently purchased my vehicle from Grey Horse Motors. I have bought many vehicles over the years and this was by far the easiest deal that I have ever done, which is really saying something since I live in a different state. (Buffalo NY) Jim was very responsive and helpful, he was quick to answer all my questions and offered me a very fair deal on the vehicle that I had spent months searching for. Knowing that I was driving the vehicle several hundred miles just on the drive home, he had his mechanic look the vehicle over very carefully before we took delivery, which was very nice. They include a 3 month/3,000 mile warranty on all their vehicles so you will have peace of mind with your purchase, which is not always easy to achieve when buying a used car. I would not hesitate to contact them again if i was in the market.

This dudes pricing is completely unrealistic.. this is the absolute definition of taking advantage knowing that people come there because they can't afford cash outright his prices seem to be about double the Blue book value hopefully this place gets shut down and his greedy ways are his own downfall

Bought my Toyota here a few years ago, they did me right by putting tires on the front that it needed and detailing it before I picked it up. Little Camry is still going strong, definitely will do business with them again.

Grey Horse Motors was 2 1/2 hours away from me. Well worth the drive!! It was an absolute pleasure doing business with the owner Jim. He has a nice selection of well maintained and affordable vehicles. Easy in-house financing. The 2013 Toyota Avalon I purchased was as described both online and over the phone. I have had bad experiences car shopping online. Expecting a nice car only to be disappointed b/c the pics where photoshopped and/or I had been lied too. This car didn t disappoint. It was better than expected. Jim is an honest and reliable seller. I highly recommend him for your next used car purchase!!

Only dealership I will go to, I have bought 4 vehicles in the last 4 years. The owner Jim is a great guy, he s very down to earth. All the vehicles on the lot are very clean, and well maintained. Great warranty will all vehicles! He s quick and easy to deal with, and has in house financing. Best dealership around! Don t waste your time elsewhere!

Bough a car a few years ago from Jim at Grey Horse Motors for my daughter in college. He told me it was a good car. He was right, 187,000 miles and still going strong. He s out in the country a little bit, but it was worth the drive. He always has lots of good cars. Thanks Jim!

I have purchased Two cars, two trucks and a side by side from Jim. They always have great cars, all vehicles come with a three month or three thousand mile warranty. I will definitely be back for my next truck!Thanks again Jim!

Easy to deal with, low pressure and great communication. Got us a decent rate on financing super easy with online application too. Hope I won't need the warranty on a basically new bike but good peace of mind regardless. Thanks!

This is a great car store. Jim is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and fair. I paid over 2000 dollars less for the same model car than what Sweeney offered - and Jim's car had fewer miles. Always bet the Gray Horse!

Grey Horse Motors is the only dealership I will buy from. Jim is a great guy, and will do his best to get you in the car you want. I purchased a very clean Mazda mx5 about two years ago. I haven t have any issues with the car. All of their vehicles on the lot are very clean and well taken care of, you don t see that on other lots. Jim is down to earth guy, and will not push you into a car you don t want. After the experience I had, I ended up last winter purchasing a 2011 Chevy 1500 from Jim. Best pickup truck I have owned by far, and no issues to this date. I highly recommend Grey Horse Motors to all my friends and family!

Best experience ever!! I barely have credit established because it's nothing I ever really knew about until I tried to purchase a beautiful white 2014 Chevy Cruze from Grey Horse Motors. Jim helped me through credit unions and every step of the way, all in the end I left out with everything I wanted as well as a warranty!!!! Jim is one of the most honest salesmen I've ever came across. I recommend anyone who's looking for a great running car to come to Grey Horse Motors. The car fax is stated in the window of every car and nothing is hidden from any customer and on the brighter side, my car runs smoother than ANY car I've ever experienced. Thank you Jim!

We dropped my wife's car off to be detailed. I was impressed with the friendliness of Jim. They came highly recommended. The price is pretty fair. I will update once we pick it up tomorrow.

Great place to work with. I am from out of town and they went out of their way to make sure the vehicle was ready for when I arrived to pick up. The vehicle was described very well. I made a good choice dealing with them. Outstanding character, very trustworthy

Met Jim (owner) the other day. Super nice guy. Has a great selection, offers 90 day warranty, and treated me well even though I was dressed down and didn't look like someone about to buy a car. Will be back for sure!

Test drove a vehicle from here and took it to my mechanic, he informed me the vehicle had flood damage and rusting on the engine mounts, went to try another vehicle and decided it was good but he was closing so he told us to apply online, and then everything changed from there i.e.; me being the co-signer, to the main loan holder and even the price of the vehicle we agreed on in person. My boyfriend and i had our credit ran for no reason. We went back in person the next day during business hours to straighten things out, and he wasn't there so we went to a store near by to pass time and called in 10 minutes (to be sure he was there before heading back) and he said he was dealing with a new customer he would help us later, HELLO we were there the day before, and at open when he was late, so unprofessional. Ended up going to Jake Sweeny and now have a certified preowned 2014 malibu for less than he was charging for a 2012 with less miles and 1 owner.

Stay away!!!! Cars are not as they seem. Warranty they include is a scam. If you want a quality used car, avoid this place like the plague!!! Shifty and slimy business. Serisouly be aware
