We normally go to Valvoline for our oil change service. We also needed a light change this time. There was a black man that was servicing, and I am white. My husband and child are in the vehicle with me, and in the car beside me is a black man, he comes around the same time that we did, but when it becomes open to be our turn. The worker then tells us that the man beside us was first, so he wants us to move and switch him places, so it can be his turn and not ours. I have never seen them make somebody move to switch for a turn, but I will be calling corporate and complaining to the fullest because that was the most ridiculous thing I had ever seen in my life and I didn t even stay to get my service I left because I was upset that they wanted to service someone else even though we came at the same time in our line cleared out before his they didn t wanna let us go first even though we have a child and had been waiting just as long they definitely lost two customers, because my husband nor myself will be back, and we were faithfully going to Valvoline for our oil changes for our vehicles as well as my husband s business vehicles! Terrible service!

Very polite and professional. Answered any questions I had, opened door for me and offeres to change the swollen lug nuts on my tires. I have been to places before that had the " I don't know, dude" attitude and that didn't happen today. They were all very helpful and knowledgeable.

The person dealing with the customer needs to be educated before finalizing the oil changes. Oil level must read ON FULL. Not at the quote Safe zone . Which was at the add level. He says it was okay. WRONG!! It s approximately 1q low at the add line. I was in bay two today and I didn t get his name. Oil level must be FULL when customer leaves!

They did a great job was taking my car to walmart and my check engine light never turned off but after they did my oil it shut off the showed me how dirty my oil filter was and recommended me to get a new one which i did ill never take my car anywhere else again if i could give 100 starts i would i highly recommend

I typically don t leave any reviews but this terrible service can t go unnoticed. If you want an oil change choose a different location!! I went there to get an oil change before vacation bc I was in the area and afterwards I had white smoke pouring outta my exhaust afterwards while driving down the road! Luckily I knew what was wrong before I caused serious damage to my car and went to my regular Valvoline (Powell) asked them to check my oil level bc I watched the grove city shop pull nothing out while trying to vac it so thought they d drain it manually. They didn t. My local Valvoline measured the amount that came out and there were 7qts of oil in my Honda Civic that takes 3.5qts thankfully my local Valvoline took care of me per usual after this botched oil change from this location.

There are various valvolines and oil expresses in the Franklin county Columbus Ohio area but this Valvoline of all the Valvolines is so welcoming it doesn't even feel like a medicinal visit for my vehicle but a catch up with dear friends.Servicemen Paul and Kim not only honored a 15% discount to my girlfriend's vehicle with me as Marine corps veteran, but they provided a level of professional banter that made the visit fly by. Almost felt bad to leave.All Valvolines should aspire to this level, thank you Paul and Kim.

They can change your oil but that's it. Couldn't rotate tires, didn't top off or check other fluid levels. Didn't perform the full service, checking battery, lights, brakes or anything other than the oil change. I've been to other locations and they do all of those and probably more. Asked for an emailed receipt, and I'm sure they wrote my email down wrong, because I didn't get it. Pretty disappointing.

Got my oil changed this morning and the shop workers were extremely unprofessional. They made fun of the dust on my air filter and stood behind my open car hood to talk about me, knowing I can hear and see them talking poorly about me. It was one of the most uncomfortable services I ve ever had and I ll absolutely never go back to a Valvoline again.

Valvoline on Springtown Road admitted to making several mistakes changing my oil and now my car needs a whole new engine. The sadest part is they are now lying and denying any fault since the price tag is $7000 to fix. Their staff is not properly trained on the services they provide.

Brought in my 2020 Charger into their shop, they have went above and beyond for me with fixing a loose skidplate, great advice on getting my thermostat replaced. Went there and got an oil change / diff fluid change, advise i get a magnetic diff plug which will help in the future!I bring my work trucks there for ALL of their service and not once have I had any issues. Everyone there is nice and cordial. Shoutout to Vic for being an exceptional mechanic!Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Oil change

The service took way longer than needed. It was just a simple oil change. There were new people being trained so I understand if it took longer because they were learning. That's totally fine but there was a lot of miscommunication and now not even 24 hours later. Oil has been leaking all over the concrete driveway. Our car is only 6 months old and it has maybe 6000 mi on it. This is our first oil change and normally my husband changes it but we were having a baby within a few days so we decided to go somewhere quick and easy to change it definitely regret that decision .I would not recommend going here and we will be contacting them

If I could give them 0 stars I would... I usually NEVER write reviews, but this I have to write. April 11th of this month I took my new Kia sorento here to get an oil change, changed air filters, and got a fuel cleaning system done. April 18th I put it on the highway to go to other city an hour away. Midway there, MY SKID PLATE POPS OFF ON THE HIGHWAY. I didn't have any tools to with me to get the few bolts that was still causing it to literally (hang on by a thread), nor did I have space to get fully under the car to do it anyways, not to mention I'm on the side of I-70 doing this. I was left with no choice but to cut it out so that I safely get to my destination. Once I made it back to this location (the same day) to have them do something, I was told they would not replace the skid plate (even tho they're the ONLY ONE'S that touched the dam thing) due to me cutting it out (again for my safety) I REPEATLY told them I'm taking my family on a road trip in this SAME VEHICLE in less then 24hrs and something needed to be done today! But they had NO SYMPATHY for the mess they've caused towards my new vehicle! Nor were they willing to pay or even offer to help put a new one on! They will NEVER AND I DO MEAN NEVER get a dime of my money EVER again!

I had a great experience with Will. He checked me in just fine. Diagnosed my vehicle and had the services completed. Initially I came for an oil change but noticed a light on my dash. Will also found the key to rotate my tires and pumped them up to get maximum performance. He touched all the bases and gave me a great discount for additional services. I felt better after leaving. I usually don't leave reviews but its showed that he was competent and very professional while making sure all of my concerns were addressed. I will come back to this location because of Will. Went to this location to get my radiator coolant topped off! There was a long line.The guy who helped me was amazing!! He let me pull up to the back and took care of my needs super fast!! It cost me nothing to get it topped off!! You ROCK Grove City Valvoline!!

Fast, no wait at 9am. Everything explained. Zero sales pressure, recommendations given but not pushed. Excellent coupon gave me 50% off. Great customer service from Jaqueline. First time at this location, but won't be last.

I've been several times to this location and it's the most upbeat and knowledgeable staff. I've had a transmission fluid change that was quick and works efficiently. I had a faulty battery that they made right even without the warranty. We couldn't have gotten any better service at all. Jacquelyn is like the nicest person on the face of the planet. She was super helpful and such a joy. She deserves a raise, bc she absolutely is the reason we will come back time and time again.If she changed locations, we would go with her, that's how great she is.Got the oil changed, fluids topped, fuel injectors cleaned, air filter checked, tire pressure checked, and was told everything we needed to do for next time.This place was great!!

Solid service coming from someone who has wrenched on their own car for many years. They explained all their services and checked all my lights. Ended up replacing my cabin filter because it was all gunked up. The team there was super friendly. Prices were too bad at all as well and not needing an appointment is a good and bad thing. If you get there at the right time you are set. If you are in a line, I would plan about 30-45 minutes per car ahead of you. Anyway thanks for the service guys.
