I have been going to DART Automotive for years and have no complaints. Very easy to schedule an appointment and use the night key drop off box for convenience. I took my Prius in recently to have my brakes checked. The mechanic called me to go over what was going on and answered all my questions. What really got me to write this review is the fact that he told me some of the things to do with my brakes still had a warranty from last time I brought it in and there would be no charge. The previous work done was not at fault, but the part wore out before it should have. I would have never known that if he didn't tell me. I really appreciate his honesty and that he went the extra mile to find out about the warranty. Also, the receptionist is great!

I was getting out of the automotive field, I wanted a place to recommend family and friends, I met Dave and saw his shop and how he worked with his customers and was very impressed. For over 15 years I have been recommending DART Automotive to family, friends and former customers. They still provide great customer service, great workmanship and prices are extremely fair. I normally maintenance my Toyota at the dealer but it wasn't an engine related service. So I had Dart Automotive replace my shocks on my truck with the parts I purchased online. They were professional and provided me the vehicle by the end of the day. They also fixed some road noise issues I had near the suspension for free. I definitely would recommend Dart Automotive for your vehicle needs.

I took my 1983 caprice here for a sbc swap... Not only did it take a month and a half after I was told it should take a week or two but the car was leaking oil from a part they put together, they used permatex to seal my thermostat housing instead of using a gasket causing my thermostat to get stuck open. They also took the electric fans off of my radiator and just installed the radiator. I have no clue where my electric fans are. Every time I have called no one has answered. This place is ridiculous.

This company really goes above and beyond. Their prices are fair, they won't fix things just to earn and extra buck, and they even do things to help you out without saying anything about it. I was missing a valve cap that I intended on replacing and they just put one on without saying anything. They truly care about your vehicle. It's not all about the money which is refreshing. Great local business. Several quotes I ve gotten are hundreds less than dealership.I ve gotten in timely and usually my vehicle is ready same day. Over the years I ve had a radiator installed, two seat belts replaced, and a cooling fan. Plus they fixed a muffler that was loose and starting to hang down for no charge.

Buyer Beware!! I took my vehicle in to this place of business to have quite a bit of work done to my vehicle. They took an exorbitant amount of time, over six weeks, and I am extremely unhappy with their service. I ended up spending over $3300 on services from this automotive shop, and this took way longer than anticipated, and after the parts were replaced that needed to be replaced I went and picked up my vehicle. I had asked them to go over the entire vehicle to let me know anything that needed to be addressed as I was willing to do so at that time. After paying my bill of over $3300 I was only able to drive the vehicle for about 25 miles when a part that was replaced previous to this shop getting the vehicle broke after their work was done. The part was an alternator which had less than 200 miles on it, so that was not an area of concern since this was an almost a brand new part. After driving the truck 25 miles that part broke. I called them to inquire about what could be done and asked for the shop owner Dave to call me back. However he had his secretary call me back twice instead of calling me back himself. I would have to incur another tow fee to get it back to their shop and they said the only thing that they could do for me would be provide some labor cost which was equal to about $15, but I would have to replace the part with my own funds. The shop owner Dave did not ever speak with me after multiple request to have him call me, after I had spent over $3300 at his location. I am a disabled veteran of the United States Marine Corps and am appalled at the fact of how I was treated and that they did not offer me any sort of resolution that would be close to acceptable, again just $15 off labor. I had also asked to inspect the exhaust system which I was told was fine however part of the back exhaust on one side fell off as well during those 25 miles. If they are willing to treat a disabled veteran in this fashion I shutter and how they would treat just a regular person.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

We were referred by a coworker, so we thought this was a great place. Nope we had the brake line replaced and R/R wheel cylinder. There was nothing else wrong with our car other than the issues above. Now our car is running slow, and multiple codes is showing up. I don't know what was done but why do businesses like this do more damage than good? To get more money? It's frustrating to know that people who run businesses, do so to scam people. We work hard to earn the money to get the car fixed. My husband called and explained what was happening, they said they would charge $400 more. Why? To scam us again. I'm reporting them to the BBB.

Expected the worst, got the best in pricing and work. Had exhaust partially fall off and since it was one piece expected about $1600; only cost me$188. THANK YOU!

Went here to get our emissions system fixed, well it got done but they didn't tell us that other parts were also about to go bad. 3 weeks later our light is back on. All to make more money when they could of gotten it all done in one go. Not taking my car back there ever again

Don't recommend this place, the owner stalked me and my brother for 3 hours because we were sitting in their parking lot because our car was broke down, circled my car multiple times in his truck and then went on to sit at a gas pump across the Parking lot and watch us, I finally went up to him told him what was up and he basically was short with me and said I was fine, I then moved my car to the gas station and he came and took pictures of my license plate and then went and parked across the road and continued to watch us till we left. Needles to say, he's a creep and obviously has too much time on his hands

They have been the most honest and dependable of anyone that I have dealt with. Highly recommend them.I would like to Thank absolutely the BEST auto mechanics I have ever dealt with. Mr. Dave, his crew and office staff are definitely the kindest and most efficient folks I have met in this business. I will never deal with anyone else. If you are older and unsure where to go it's D.A.R.T. They are the most honest and trustworthy people. DART is an honest place that does an excellent job. I have used them for my personal vehicles and our fleet of vehicles at work. Always a great job at an excellent price! Best mechanic around. I heard a lot of people say a lot of good things about DART, so when I was in the market to have the routine 100,000 mile service completed; timing belt, water pump and thermostat replaced, I took my car there. They kept my car a day longer than planned. When I got it back, the idle was surging. I called them and they said to bring it back and they kept my car another full day, without providing details of the issue and at "no charge". Now, my car is losing coolant and overheating. If this repair was done correctly, none of this should be happening. The work was completed more than a year ago, so the warranty is lapsed/cod, but even if it wasn't, I can't continue to trust shotty work. None of this should have/should be happening. And this isn't an exclusive experience for me with themHad a similar issue with my alternator that they replaced. Literally, I feel like they ruined my car.

I brought my car to Dart Auto to get transmission pan and oil pan re-sealed to stop them leaking. Three return visits later I still have a leaking oil pan and transmission pan. They decided just to refund my money. I only got refunded for the transmission pan re-seal never got refunded for the oil pan re-seal. After several return trips and paying for rides while they had my car and not getting a complete refund where is the value? In the end you are just better off taking it to a larger mechanic that will get it right the first time. If they can't re-seal a oil pan and transmission pan whats the point taking it to this over hyped hole in the wall mechanic. Never going there again.Service: Transmission

In today's market it's hard to find a good place to fix your car, Especially with the difficult electronical systems in the new cars. I unfortunately have had two bad experiences here now. First time they forgot my car was there and didn't remember until I called them 4 days after it was dropped off, they did right their wrong and fix it for free which I appreciated but it cost me a lot of money to get to and from work in the time they forgot.Second time was very recent and the most serious, I took my car in for an issue, they called me back 3 days later saying that my clutch was burnt up and I need a whole new transmission and quoted me 2.8k for a used one. I'm glad I trusted my gut and got it towed to a hyundai dealership, because it turns out it was just a sensor that cost $400 vs the 2.8k dart quoted me...This is huge, if I would have listened to the mechanic I would be out 2.8k and it wouldn't have even fixed my problem. The hyundai dealership even told me my clutch was in great condition. The only reason I'm not giving this place 0 stars is because the woman at the front desk is very sweet and helpful and patient and she does a great job.I do not recommend this place and unfortunately won't ever be bringing a vehicle back here. If it's something little like an oil change or brake change I'm sure they'd do a great job but do not trust them with bigger jobs

6/5 starsMy car was having troubles accelerating. I called and set up an appointment. I dropped my car off and they diagnosed and called back same day !!!They run a $40 diagnostic fee but when I went to pick up and pay they waived the charge !!! That s the way a business gets a customer for life !I declined the repair (ended up being something I could do very easily myself) but even the estimate was very very reasonable! Very friendly staff and they do a great job. Give them a try no matter what part of town you re in and believe the great reviews.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Top of the line work on any vehicle, no matter the make or model.If they don't have what you need they will find what you need , go out of their way to get it for you , install it ,test it and And any maintenance they do on your vehicle they treat as if it was their own.Super reasonable prices on anything you may need.Dave and his employees go out of their way to help their customers.And there's no difference in the quality of the work, and the quality of the customer service!Thanks Again for ALL the help you've done for us.

I will only have D.A.R.T Automotive to service my vehicles. I started sending my vehicles to Dave 10 years ago when my Lexus 2000 GS300 needed the entire gas tank replaced. I was a little nervous seeing as the car was older(thinking that there would not be a replacement available) However, they were able to find a perfect replacement and I was back on the road in time! They even filled my new tank with gas (PREMIUM)! Absolutely the BEST of ALL Automotive shops I have ever come across!I later sold the that Lexus to purchase another Lexus in which has routine service done ONLY at D.A.R.T Automotive.

Went there for the first time in June with AC issues. They were proficient and fixed my issues at a reasonable price. Not only that they did not try to tell me there was a bunch of other things wrong with my car.
