Swung by the shop yesterday, Zak gave me a tour of the shop and scheduled me for an oil change this morning. The whole crew did a great job and I was very pleased with their service. I highly recommend working with them. Thanks, Scott

A couple of months ago I had my wheel bearings and sway bar links replaced here. They charged me 1600$ for a job that everywhere else would've charged under 1000$ for. I let it slide at the time because they have financing options and I was in a pinch. Recently I started hearing a very loud clanking noise from my front end... whoever worked on my truck forgot/neglected to put the brake caliper bolts back in, causing it to eventually shake out of place. The bolts were all missing on the passenger side, and my caliper was jostling about. If I had driven much further it would have eventually become lodged behind the wheel, causing serious damage. There is no other explanation for how this would happen. Kind of an aside but worth noting here - I have worn out upper control arms and an inner tie rod on my truck... they quoted me nearly 3000$ to replace these components. Everywhere else locally is quoting me half that or less, and from what I gather, 1500$ is the going price for this job. I'm not alone in receiving crazy quotes from Bill's, and unless you have more money than you know what to do with, definitely avoid.

I've been taking my car to Bill's on Broadway instead of going to the dealer for both general maintenance and when I have specific issues and have always been pleased with the work they've done. They're always friendly, professional and keep my car in great condition. They know their business and always explain what they've diagnosed and advise what's need and when it needs to be done.I've never been disappointed in their service. Thanks to all at Billl's on Broadway!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning, Oil change

The reply/response below to my review is a LIE... My vehicle is NOT fixed/repaired. 08/09/23. And no acknowledgement about my radio and how everyone walked out and left on Friday and didn't come to check. So now I have two issues that need taken care of. 08/09/23. This establishment is a joke.I do not recommend. I will not return to this establishment. Such a disappoint especially after this place was highly recommended. After having my car for a week and wanted to keep it longer it still isn't repaired. I will be taking it to the Honda dealer directly. After telling them I NEED MY CAR and I couldn't wait another day. I walk to pick it up on Friday right before closing. I brought my car in for windshield wiper switch repair/replace. I get in my car to leave and my radio no longer works. No radio, Bluetooth or Aux cord. I go in to tell Zach and he looks at me like a deer in headlights. He goes back into the garage I assumed to talk to the mechanics. I return back to my car to wait for someone to come take a look. And I watch each employee in that building leave and go home for the weekend. No one ever came to check with me and look into why it wasn't working.I needed a wiper switch repair and now I have another issue.AWFUL , INCONSIDERATE, INCONSISTENT experience. Thanks for nothing!

Went to Bill s for a diagnostic since experiencing loud noises on the rear right side of my car when going over bumps. I also shared that my tire pressure sensor wasn t functioning. I was quoted just over 1,000 dollars for shocks, the tire pressure sensor replacement, a serpentine belt with big chunks missing and oil leaking all over the vehicle. I was offered a dye service that would be able to identify where the leak was coming from for an additional 90 something bucks. Pictures were taken of the sensor light and of the oil leaks that weren t visible in the photo. The price wasn t all that outlandish, but what deterred me from the business especially was the difficulty in having my vehicle returned to me. Well Jordan let s see if we can work something out. We have financing available. Well Jordan the main thing is that the shocks and the serpentine belt that need fixed. I still rejected the services due to wanting to discover other options. Well Jordan let me put you on hold. Okay Jordan I can have your car ready first thing in the morning. I was previously told I would have my car returned the same day. I really need my car back tonight, I said. Well Jordan, I have cars in front of you I would have to move so I can have it for you first thing tomorrow. I need my car tonight for work, I said. My team member can pick you up in the morning and provide transport. I m not comfortable with a stranger coming to my home. I need my vehicle. Okay Jordan I ll have you vehicle ready for you this evening. So there s that. The saga continues: my neighbor checked out my car and reported that there is no oil leak and the serp belt is fine.Long story short: They will be polite to you and make sure to address you by name, allow you to pay over a portal and send you pictures, and keep you updated, but they will list as many things as possible to add to your bill and they will push back if you decline their service.

To start, customer service here is excellent! Zach is very polite and kind. He was very thorough in explaining everything to me. They provided pictures and a very detailed report, which was VERY appreciated.I missed his name, but the man who looked over my car brought me out and showed me exactly what was wrong. As a women it s hard to find a place that doesn t treat you like you know nothing, but they all made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. The lobby is nice and accommodating. I d give 5 stars just for the snacks alone! LolDefinitely glad I found this place and will be a returning customer!Krinda StephensonBuick Enclave

Bill's left a courtesy car, and picked up my car, on Fri. 12/30. My husband made 2 calls later that day. We were told that, good news, the light that was on was under warranty, not sure how soon they could get parts. No other communication. About 4-5pm I saw someone pick up the courtesy car and leave, and did not bring my car back.So this is New Years weekend, business not open on Sat. or Mon. My ONLY car is not home, no one is at the business. And my husband is going through chemo for lung cancer. So Tues. morning we begin calling them. The warranty problem can only be fixed by Honda, ok. Not a prob. But why did you keep my car all weekend? On a long holiday weekend? And not tell me? On Tues. morning we were told other problems were found which should be addressed. Not there, no way! Go to pick up car, using a friends car, and it has a dead battery, which they had to come out and jump it, so I could leave. I was so upset, I was in tears. As we went to Hilliard to return our friends car, my car died, on top of the busiest ramp, 270 and Roberts Rd. I was in tears then. Hubby, coming off chemo, was in no shape to get out and jump my car. We called 911, awesome policeman and tow truck came. $300 later, tow and new battery, all good. I try to support local and we are 1+ years living in Grove City. But in 66 years, have never had this kind of bad service, anywhere. The only response I got from the service mgr./check out guy, was that he was sorry, he was on vacation that Fri.

Great customer service! They had my car in and out in no time. They communicate with the client and make sure you understand everything they are doing everything step of the way. They always let you know if there are any changes and do not do anything without having discussed all the options with you. They truly have your best interest at heart. They are definitely the most affordable and reliable mechanic I have ever taken my vehicle too. I will definitely take my vehicle back to them for all of my future repairs.Service: Steering & suspension repair

The short version: I would recommend against using Bill's on Broadway because of high prices, lacking quality of work, and poor business practices. The long version: Genuinely nice people, but I would recommend strongly against using them for any vehicle maintenance or repair. Prices are much higher than what you would find at most places, and the accuracy of their work is below average in my experience. Spent close to $2,500 in two years of taking my vehicles there, so I have quite a bit of experience to speak to.Recently decided I wouldn't go back due to their unwillingness to honor a warranty. Had my break pads, rotors, and calipers replaced in February of 2022. In the year that followed, I drove just over 4,000 miles. I noticed some uneven tire wear on the front left tire and kept hearing some noises that concerned me, none of which was happening before. I took my truck back to have them repair, but they were unwilling. All I wanted was for them to honor their warranty, but they instead performed an inspection of the truck (which they wanted to charge me $91 for) and told me there was close to $3,000 of repairs that were needed. While noting the brakes were part of the problem, they said that fell outside of warranty because of these other issues they had now found. Coincidentally they had performed the same inspection in February of 2022 and had not noted the problems they were now claiming existed. The entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn't label them as dishonest, but it certainly seemed like they weren't honoring their word.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Oil change

With Bill's Complimentary Inspections I know my Honda Odyssey is safe to drive. My breaks were squeaking. They replaced both front and back breaks. They found that the tread on my tires was low and I needed new ones. With new breaks and tires, my van is ready for the winter weather.I have been bringing my family vehicles to Bill's for more then five years. We are always treated fair and with respect.I recommend Bill's to my family and friends.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Auto battery maintenance, Auto tire replacement, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

They have great reviews, so I'm assuming they generally do great work, but whether there were off days or bad luck, I've not had great experiences here. Today, I called in to ask for an estimate/quote for an ignition coil (#5) replacement. I explained that I had a diagnostic report and just wanted that specific work done. I was told a quote is unavailable by phone, so I stopped in. I was then offered a diagnostic test for $120+ dollars. I explained that I wasn't interested in another test, as I was confident the issue was the ignition coil. The associate politely explained that they likely would not be able to complete the service, having not done their own diagnostics. I would have appreciated this information over the phone when I mentioned having my own diagnostic test in hand, but I accepted this answer, and was ready to try my luck at a different shop. The associate briefly asked me to wait, while he excused himself to speak with the supervisor/owner (I presume), and the gentleman decided to speak to me in a tone that I don't accept. The gentleman decided to project onto me what would happen if the repair I requested didn't solve my problem. He told me I'd be upset with him if he charged me $500 and the vehicle wasn't fixed. He went on a long winded speech about how "most people are..." It was disrespectful and presumptuous. The defensive nature of his position: telling me how much he spends to send his employees to mechanic school etc...explaining that the diagnostic test may be inaccurate...tried projecting on me that I want to "control the situation"...talked about cars back in the 1980's...he didn't take a second to listen to me before lecturing me on why I was "wrong."None of those details are lost on me. I am fully aware of everything he described. He just was more interested in talking than listening. Had he taken a moment to introduce himself and ask me about my requests, we likely could've shook hands and went on our ways. The two associates I met both took the time to do so...I found it strange that they exemplified more professionalism than the supervisor/owner chose to.Today, after I explained that the owner seemed to have the wrong idea of the situation, and stood up to walk out during his lecture he, only then, realized he was in the wrong. He apologized and tried to smooth things over. I appreciated that, but it paled in comparison to the interrupting, talking over, and rude communication preceding it.I've had communication issues with this shop before, but chalked it up to a bad day or honest miscommunication by them or myself. I had them run diagnostics on my AC about 2-3 (?) years ago and due to the miscommunication, they only fixed 1/2 components in question after my requesting both to be completed. I didn't have a working AC system. I didn't get angry or act the way the supervisor/owner anticipated in that instance, by the way. I simply chalked it and moved on. They only charged me for the replacements they completed, so no harm, no foul.Today, after I stood up and explained that the owner seemed to have the wrong idea of the situation, he realized he was in the wrong. He apologized and tried to smooth things over. I appreciated that, but it paled in comparison to the interrupting, talking over, and rude communication preceding it.SUPER simple solution: Politely explain that you won't do the work without your own diagnostics to avoid liability concerns; or tell me that I'm still responsible to pay for the work if the repair doesn't fix my problem reported by my independent diagnostic test. The pretentious and condescending stuff never needs to happen. Ever. Period.

I just happened across them on google and the review led me to give them a shot. They got the car in an hour after I called and had the part installed and ready to go the next day. The work was very professional and affordable. They have a method for picking cars up after hours and they made the entire experience as pleasant as it car maintenance can be. Will definitely be back!Service: General repairs & maintenance

So we moved to Columbus in January and have been going to Alternative Auto Care. They were nice and helpful at first but when we took our car in and they did an entire front end and back end inspection and concluded that we needed new tires and to replace our struts and shocks. The tires were true so we got those replaced but they quoted us at well over $2000 for new struts and shocks. Not only did I think that was high I also didn't feel like that was the issue. So we got a second opinion at Bills On Broadway. We loved that they were family owned and appreciated that they didn't charge us to give us a second opinion. Turns out, the issue was with the transfer case! Not only did they give us a significantly better quote for the struts and shocks if we wanted to replace them they also gave us a fair price on the transfer case. They were so friendly and the communication was fantastic! I could tell they were being transparent and honest which is hard to find in a shop these days. They also presented various options for us and kept us informed on the progress. I could not be happier with the service, honesty, and respect we recievedService: Steering & suspension repair

I was very happy with the service at Bill's. They got me in when other places were too busy. They were very professional, and had good communication, which is something I've had trouble with at other mechanics. The price seemed reasonable and my car is working again. I've only gone to them this one time, but I think I'll go to them again next time.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I don't know what happened to this place. I've been going here for years and never had a problem, I trusted them. Last November i went in there for an oil change and a 100,000 mile service. They forgot about the oil change, which was fine since they didn't charge me. However when I got my van back it wasn't shifting right, so I took it back and had them check it. They gave me a bunch of talk and said my transmission was bad and now needed replacing. I wasn't happy, we tried to get the transmission fluid people to pay for it but they don't do that for anything over 50,000 miles and bills refused to pay for it even though it happened under their care. Instead of just agreeing we decided to go to perfection one in circleville. Turns out it just needed more than a quart plus more in fluid so it could shift properly because they didn't fill it up all the way! They also didn't put in a new filter on the transmission when it was empty!I will NOT BE BACK , nor will I be telling anyone to go here anymore

The moment I walked in I was greeted. Then the process started. Tim told me what he was going to do first - check the car and then we would talk. He found a few things and we decided on a plan. Great people and great work on my car. They did not treat me like a woman who did not know anything but, the owner of my car. How awesome. We decided what I could that day and what steps we could take to finish up the necessary maintenance on my car. True customer service and by the way I met Bill's mother and she is so special and a delight to talk too. Thanks for a great experience. I have found my auto shop!!!

Friendly and efficient service, but they have a significant up-charge on their parts. I paid $516 + labor for an alternator ($290 for same exact part at Advanced Auto) and was quoted ~$250 + labor for a battery (~$100-190 elsewhere). Definitely something to be aware of before committing.
