We bought a pre-owned truck here. Our sales person Christi was great. She kept us in the loop and always responded promptly even when she wasn't at work. They were honest and the prices were fair and they kept to the advertised online price. We drove here from NY, the process to finalize the sale was quick and painless Mike the finance manager was efficient and thorough as well. The deal and service was good enough that I would drive here again without question. Thanks Christi, Mike, and Thayer Toyota!

After my engine died, I was in a pinch to find something reliable that would last me for years. Cesar Vilchez at Thayer was incredibly helpful in this process, he not only made me feel comfortable with the options I was looking at, but gave me actual advice beyond just a sales push. I ended up with a 2018 Corolla and absolutely love it!I can t recommend Thayer enough, great dealership and friendly people. If you re lucky enough to have Cesar as your salesman, regardless of your choice you won t leave the dealership with any doubts.Thanks!

Cyndi at Thayer Toyota is hands down the best Customer Relations Manager out there! We have gone to them now multiple times and are completely loyal to Cyndi and Rick, Mechanic, for our Toyota serving needs. We have two small children and have never felt pressured into a service we couldn t afford, they give realistic expectations and when fixing it they do it right! They double check everything and know our top concern is safety for our children, they are always honest and tell us what they would do if it were their family! We cannot thank them enough!!! 1000times recommend!

My salesperson was a young man name Johnny. He was new to the dealership but he was knowledgeable. He didn't try to pressure me into getting something I didn't want. He listened to me and found the car I wanted in the price range I wanted. I really enjoyed my experience at Thayer Toyota. Lisa the finance officer was very friendly and she gave me some good advice. THAYER IS THE PLACE TO GO! If you are looking for top notch Customer Service, look no further. After over a month of battling with another area dealership, Thayer was able to take care of my brand new Rav4 in just days. It all began with Brian (Service Manager). I spoke to Brian, explained my situation, and he jumped right onto getting me into a loaner and scheduling my appointment. Cyndi (Warranty Advisor) is the most organized, caring, and BEST communicator I've met. Cyndi listened to all my problems and concerns and was extremely sympathetic of the situation I was in. Cyndi kept in close communication with me regarding what they found, next steps, the work that needed to be done, and when my Rav4 would be ready to pick up. When I picked up my Rav4 Cyndi walked me to my Rav4 and showed me the issue and walked through everything that was done to correct it. I was even lucky enough to meet the Master Tech (Chuck) who fixed my Rav4! I could absolutely tell he takes pride in his job, and I was so happy I could meet him and be able to personally thank him for taking good care of my Rav4. Being able to also meet Brian and personally thank him as well, was an incredible experience. Brian also has a strong passion for what he does, and he reminded me that they are always happy and willing to take care of my Rav4 when needed. This was such a relief to hear after a nightmare of an experience at another dealership. The morning after I picked up my Rav4 up, Cyndi texted me just to check in and see how my Rav4 was doing. When I say this little gesture brought me to tears, I am not lying. CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S FINEST! I cannot wait to continue to be a longtime returning customer at Thayer's. Don't second guess yourself and go to Thayer! You will be as happy as I am! Thank you Thayer for taking good care of me and my Rav4. YOU ARE THE BEST!

Working with Marissa at Thayer Toyota was an absolute pleasure. I was purchasing from out of state and looking for a hassle free experience. Thayer has provided my best buying experience to date. I was sent an out-the-door price summary with no hidden fees or extras the same day that I called. I was able to pay a deposit and pay for the vehicle at the end of the week.Every aspect from the initial contact call to working with the finance manager to get out the door was a hassle free experience. Exactly what I look for in a dealership.

Thayer was my second Toyota dealership I went to for my journey of finding my Grand Highlander Platinum. I knew they didn t have what I was looking for but they had the XLE Model and I wanted to test drive. My husband stopped first and Cesar came out to help him. He was very informative with him about the car and answered all of his questions. I went out to test drive it and also test drove a trdpro. I didn t care for the XLE and knew a platinum was not going to happen. Cesar kept me informed when the Trdpro was being test driven and whether it sold. Although I did not end up buying from Thayer due to I ended up finding the Platinum Highlander, Cesar I felt did a great job with us. Thanks again!

Very disappointed in this dealership. Dealt with the head salesman there...28 years at a family owned dealership, and he didn't even have the decency to follow up with a phone call regarding the availability of a car or ordering a car. We had an in person meeting with him and his last words were, I'll get back to you either way. Should only be a couple days. It's been over a week and haven't heard a thing. Would not recommend!

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. I've been here three times and I've given them several chances in case what I've experienced is due to short staffed or covid. However, after today's visit I realize it's just how the dealership is.The staff in the service department is rude and lacks any sort of customer service skills. Their communication is, at best, Neanderthal level.$75 for wiper blades?! Seriously? I can buy the exact same blades for $27 and install them myself, thanks.Back to the staff. When making my appointment the service manager, James, was not only extremely rude but incredibly condensing. The ONLY reason I kept appointment is because I needed an oil change and I only take my vehicle to a dealership for service.Needless to say, I will be going to another dealership that treats their customers with respect and treats them as a human being rather than dollar signs.

Just completed the purchase of a new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid at Thayer Toyota in BG. It was another enjoyable experience. I worked with Mr. Cesar Vilchez and I would highly recommend contacting him if you stop the dealership looking for a new vehicle. He found us just what we were looking for and helped us finalize a very fair deal.

I have taken our vehicle to Thayer Toyota for the past two oil changes as we travel the area and at the time could get us in with no issue. Today realized we was close to the oil change so took it to my local Toyota dealer. They came out to inform me that who ever did my last oil change stripped the bolt. Repair is going to be just shy of $500. Will be contacting the BBB about this incident. This does make sense since the last time we was leaving the dealership was told there is a oil leak and to make sure I keep oil in it?

So, my daughter took her 2020 Toyota Yaris for it's first check up (7,500 miles oil change, etc.) about 10 days ago. We let the service department know ahead of time that she will be taking the car out of state for school and we wanted it to be thoroughly looked over to make sure no issues will come up in the next 4 months. Lindsay made a note on our account to get the car ready for a trip. So far, so good. My daughter had her appointment the following day. It took about 45 min and she was sent on her way.The next day, Lindsay calls my husband to let him know that the tires had not been rotated and she asked for my daughter to come back in so it could be taken care of. She didn't call me, because according to her, moms sometimes have the tendency to overreact!!! My husband's name wasn't on the ticket. My daughter went back right away to get the tires taken care of. The only issue, it wasn't the tires that were the problem, but instead the OIL CHANGE had NOT been done the day before!!! So the dealership flat out lied to us!!!Now, the new thing is that the tire pressure light comes on!!! Makes me wonder if the tires were actually checked!!! Also wondering what else might not have been looked at properly!!! Absolutely not happy with this service experience!!! This should never have happened!!! We're moving our daughter on Friday and are hoping everything will work out.UPDATE:Thank you so much to Cyndi Hoyt who took the time to have the car checked over one more time yesterday. Feeling so much more confident with my daughter taking the car out of state now for the next four months. Cyndi always does a great job and provides wonderful customer service.
