Called this morning to get daughter s car in for a check engine light as she is 3 hours from home. Jay said have her bring it by today anytime and they d look at it. She did. They began looking at it immediately when she got there. They spoke with our mechanic at home who covered a warranty repair due to a bad part. All done within an hour. Super appreciative of their help and quick fix. Glad to know we have a place to go in Bowling Green. Gained a new customer today. Thank you!

My daughter had car troubles one evening and her car was towed here. She is 2 hours away from home at college and we knew nothing about this service shop. My husband emailed the shop since they were closed and let them know the potential issues. The next morning my husband called at 7:30 am and they were already working on it. When my daughter got to the shop the owner, Greg, took care of her. He treated her with respect and didn't talk down to her or make her feel uncomfortable in any way. This is a HUGE DEAL! Was absolutely in pieces over my car breaking down during the first snow in the area; fiddled with insurance and the tow company so long I was weary of what would come from the actual mechanics when I chose sockmans to send the car to. They were AMAZING! Quick turnaround (literally n hour into opening the next day), didn't try to b.s. me into buying more repairs or add ons, and made sure my battery was fully charged even though it was a secondary issue. Will definitely know who to call if she gives me more trouble

I had set up an appointment with sockman automotive back in September they gave me a call today and let me know that what I needed wasn't quite feasible, but instead of charging me more or just half effort attempting to fix the issue they were honest and recommended a better equipped shop. They could have easily up charged me and did the work. I appreciate their honesty and will absolutely call them again if I have any other car related issues.

I was in bowling green visiting my friends for the weekend my car broke down Saturday night right before I left so I was stuck there until at least Monday morning when I could get my car looked at. He was a very helpful individual who fixed my car very fast and precisely made my very bad experience a lot better and showed me what was wrong with my car I am very grateful.

Called about an exhaust leak and they saw me the morning of. They suggested a reputable local repair shop that may be of better help/a cheaper price. Honest guys and I appreciate the help.

We called at noon to see if they could take a look at my daughter's car. She had been hearing a noise when turning. We just wanted to make sure it was safe for her to drive until they could get it in to fix. They said bring it on in and we'll take a look at it after lunch. She dropped it off about 12:30. They called a little after 1:00 to say it was fixed! It was a small part, less than $30! I'm floored! Definitely recommend!

Sockman Automotive is GREAT! I recently damaged one of my wheels, and so I called Sockman for an estimate. They asked me to bring it by that day to take a quick look at it, free of charge. So I did. They gave me an estimate and told me they could fix it the next morning. I brought it in and they fixed it within 2 hours. They didn't nickle and dime me like a lot of other auto shops do. They were very friendly and professional, and they did high quality work. I would HIGHLY recommend Sockman Auto for your next auto repair! Thank you!

Sockmon has done many repairs on my vehicle and oil changes over the past 4 years! They have gotten me out of a few binds and got my vehicle in on short notice with a full schedule today! My power steering hose broke and leaked fluid all over. Out of power stearing fluid I was unable to turn my wheel. They got me in and out of the shop quickly, efficiently, and at a good price! I highly reccommend thrm for any general car maintenace or repairs! They are great people and are always up front about costs and time of repairs.Service: Steering & suspension repair

My check engine light came on yesterday and like any 21 year old college student, I called my dad. He found Sockman and told me to call them the next day. I called them this morning and was told to bring my car down anytime and they would take a look. I brought my car to them and they came out right away. The man who helped me was nice and professional. He explained everything to me and made my experience super easy. He turned off my engine light and told me to bring my car back if the light comes back on. No charge. I will definitely be going to them for future issues with my car.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I cannot recommend them enough! The very first time I ever encountered them I was in a bind with a major issue with my car. They let me know that likely my car was under warranty due what part it was and that it would be covered at the dealership. In fact, it was. They were kind enough to let me know that instead of getting a seven hundred dollar job out of me. Now I take my car to them for everything and always will. I took my car in because it was making a loud sound the guy tried telling me I needed two wheel bearings replaced I told him to only do one because the other one had previously been changed. I got charged $450 when a wheel bearing costs less than $200 and they fixed it in less than half an hour. I got ripped off to say the least.

I've been taking vehicles to Sockman for many years and am very happy with the service and value. I took a car in that was running very rough, not sure what to expect. They found that it was just a sensor that needed to be reset. They took care of it at no charge.

My daughter goes to BGSU and her service engine light came on. They checked it out and fixed it the same day. The price was excellent, better than if we had taken it to where we bought it. We will use them again if necessary.

I really love this place. I'm originally from Michigan and I am going to school at BGSU. Whenever I have car problems, i go to them and they really do care about the customer. They were always very honest and upfront with me, and never tried to cheat me out of anything. They even fixed some things for no charge at all at times! This is a great, family run place to go to get your car fixed. They are very friendly and will always be the most caring for your car.

I called in to see if they were available but they were booked up unfortunately. Even still, they told me to bring it over and he's check my fluids real quick (since I know nothing about cars) and ended up helping me diagnose the problem.Good guys here and if I have time in the future I will definitely be taking my car to them.

I have always went to these guys for oil changes and they are cheap. Recently my wife s car was making a noise. Took it to sockman. They fixed it in 1 minute and didn t charge me. They could have said it was anything and I would have believed them. Honest people that have made me a customer as long as I live in Bowling Green.

This place is AWESOME. The mechanics are certified and well experienced. The prices are reasonable and they do not try to rip you off or up sale. The lobby is clean. The shop always looks in order and professional. One of the best I've seen.

Very friendly fast service. They dont try to scam you out of your money. I had a transmission problem they were willing to fix but advised me against it due to the age and miles on the vehicle. Very honest and upfront. Will deffinetly be going back.
