Super awesome people with amazing customer service. Kayla, the front desk lady, is super helpful and doesn t make me feel intimidated by all the car stuff. Rob, the manager, is such a solid dude and their customer service is amazing. They will always be my first thought to go to when I have car troubles. Thank you guys!

My car got stuck while really cold,snowy and windy outside. Rob from shipley came to my rescue in a very timely manner, was very courteous and professional and got me back on the road quickly. I hope to not have to call them again but they will.be my go-to tow service for any future needs!

Had a tow request through AAA for my 99 Silverado. Shipley s was on it and dispatched an incredibly nice and understanding young man out to help. Couldn t have asked for a better experience with an undesirable situation. Thanks again, guys.I m terrible with names so forgive me if I get it wrong, but I believe Chris was his name. Give this man a raise!

My car has a flat in Oregon, Ohio. Called AAA. John and another gentleman , Stark Jr. I think, came within an hour. Not only did John take great care of my car, he was an excellent teacher to the new person with him. Bravo!

8/3/23. Broke down on 75. Called AAA and were given a two hr window. An hour later Mike called, showed up and kicked butt loading her up and within half an hour it was in the driveway. Smart, respectful and knew what he was doing. A real credit to your company.

Battery on my one year old vehicle had been dead for a few days, even trying to jump it off another vehicle would not work! Called Shipley s and they had someone over quickly to see if they could get my battery charged to start my vehicle. My vehicle turned over within a matter of minutes from their equipment! Then, after a few errands my battery decided to die all over again! Gave the gentleman a call that originally came out and told him what was happening. He had another employee over within minutes to get my vehicle started once more. After it was running he asked me to come back to their shop so they could test my battery. It was completely drained! They very kindly offered to charge my battery for however long it took so I wouldn t have this reoccurring issue! After a few hours my battery was fully charged! I can t thank them enough for going above and beyond to help me out, without double charging me for their services! It is greatly appreciated!Services: Auto battery maintenance, Battery

I have AAA and this is the company they sent to tow my truck. I m from out of town but if I lived there I would only use this place. They was very quick, Very nice and friendly! In June of 2021, I took my truck here to have a turbo installed, which I admit was a fairly complex task, and the price was reasonable. They told me it could be done in a month, and I did not get it back until over 4 months later. When I did finally get it back, they had failed to follow some of my instructions, destroyed some of my wiring, and did not install my CDR correctly.I would not have minded getting the truck back 3 months later than promised if they had done everything how I had asked them to do it, or at least called to clarify some of my instructions. At least then I would know why it was taking longer than expected. Instead, it was complete radio silence unless I called them to ask why it was taking so long.Failing to install the CDR correctly prevented my truck from being able to suck the excess pressure out of the crankcase, so as I was driving my truck home, my rear main seal blew, I lost all of my oil, and the engine seized. This truck belonged to my great-grandfather, and the engine was in pretty good shape for its age, so this was devastating to me.When I called Shipley to ask for a partial refund to at least cover the cost of towing it the rest of the way home, they said they could do it, and then never did. They just told me what I wanted to hear. I chose not to pursue the issue further, because it was not worth my time, time that I now needed to spend fixing their mistakesI got a replacement engine, dropped it in, and ended up doing all of the work that I asked them to do and then some, and I have to say that what I asked them to do was really not that hard. I should have done it myself the first time.

Kyla is a literal rock star at customer service! Our daughter broke down today and we are hours from her. Shipleys came highly recommended by so many folks at Bowling Green I m thinking it may be because of her! I had to call 4-5 times in an hour to make arrangements and she was as nice and patient as anyone I ve ever spoken to at a shop! I highly recommend Shipleys! I needed my tire changed due to a flat. Herb was the man who showed up through my AAA call, very promptly. He was friendly and moved my car to a safe location to change my tire. He had me back on the road in no time, and gave me safety suggestions in regards to driving on my spare/donut. i just want to give EXTRA LOVE TO CODY!!!!! i called AAA for a tow, my vehicle would NOT start. I called the dealership and they couldn't figure out what the deal was so they needed it brought over. I mentioned to the AAA agent that i thought maybe the starter or something because of what DID happen. Well when Cody got here, he asked about it...i explained what was happening and he asked to hear it. He says it sounds like your battery ma'am.....lemme give it a charge. He hooks it up, and viola , the engine turns right over. He said if i remove the clamp and it shuts off, it's your alternator, if it stays running, you just need a new battery. He removes it and sure enough it stays running. What could've been disastrous turned into something AMAZING! I called my old mechanic and he told me to bring it right over and got me a new battery. I told him the story of the nice young man from the tow service and he said, that young man did right by you. That's a blessing.I REALLY HOPE YOU ALL KNOW WHAT A WONDERFUL GEM OF AN EMPLOYEE YOU HAVE ON YOUR HANDS. I AM FOREVER APPRECIATIVE AND SO GRATEFUL. I CANNOT THANK HIM ENOUGH.L. Jake B was awesome!!!! After dealing with AAA three times within 24 hours to get my vehicle towed out of a low rise parking garage Jake came to the rescue. He was able to get car out of garage fast by us manually pushing and steering vehicle out and then up on the flat bed. He was very professional and got the job done extremely quick. I will be definitely referring Jake to anyone I know who needs tow services. Thanks so much for rescuing my car from this nightmare!!!!!Service: Car towing

Can't say enough good stuff about Rich from Shipley! Friday evening, every warning system in my car started blinking, then the entire electrical system went out. My car had no power or lights. I was stranded and scared and it was starting to get dark. Spoke with Rich and he assured me he'd be there quickly to get me and my car safely off the road. Within 10 minutes Rich arrived! He was able to get my car restarted but didn't think it would be safe to drive given the electrical system was still showing so many warnings. Rich was so courteous and respectful. I trusted he had my best interest at heart! He towed my car and got me home safely. The price was also so reasonable! I've had other experiences in the past when I have felt I was being fed a line of junk just to make a buck but I wholeheartedly believe Rich wanted to do what was right for me, the customer. I will definitely recommend Shipley to anyone in need. Although I hope to never need a tow again, I have saved the phone number and will never call anyone else! Thanks again Rich!

At first, I thought this was a great company! The guy who towed my car was very nice and punctual. They told me that they would start diagnostic work on a Monday & later call and update me, which I had no problem with. Thursday rolls around, I decide to call and check-in since I heard nothing, I was on vacation, so again I didn t mind. When I called, they had the audacity to be rude to me while speaking on the phone AFTER they said they would have my car in on Monday. They didn t call me back until the NEXT Monday, to say that they needed to do more diagnostic work to figure out what was wrong. I finally decided that I would have them speak to my father instead of dealing with them myself. After about 2 and half weeks, they basically tell my father that I need the motor replaced. They offered for me to not pay the $130 I owed them, if I handed them the title. HAHAHA my brand new headlights cost more than that, no thanks. My little brother went to pick up my car for me, and he asked them if they would be willing to help him load the car onto his trailer, as my car could barely run without dying. They offered him no assistance whatsoever (: I would recommend trying a different business!!

Young man was very nice and helpful when my husband needed a tow requested through our AAA one cold night last October. He had him sit in his warmed truck and turned on the radio while he carefully checked the battery and started the car.My husband then gratefully drove home safe and warm. Our thanks for your great service ! Happy 2019!

Our daughter broke down in Toledo on a Saturday night. We submitted the request for a tow through the AAA app. Shipley arrived in half the time of the original estimate, was very friendly, professional and quickly towed the vehicle to our local shop for repair. Highly recommend!

I was actually amazed by the level of commitment the tower Robert had. He didnt leave me hanging and he was very smart. He figured out a way to get my car out of a tight situation even when I thought it was impossible. I 150% recommend Shipley automotive towing. Best service I've EVER had. Unfortunately my cars seems to break down a lot so I've seen my fair share of lazy companies. People just in it for a pay check well NOT at Shipley. I wanna say thank you for all the hard work and from now on I know who to call... keep it up!!!!

Robert came out and towed me and my truck home from work via AAA. He was prompt and called me when he was on the way which was awesome. Extremely knowledgeable and made sure to be careful with my truck. Very professional. Highly recommended. Thank you Robert and thank you Shipley.

I had an amazing experience with a worker named Tyler. He was professional and kind. He kept me up to date on where he was and how close he was to my location. Safety was a huge concern for him. Wonderful person. He made the experience a breeze. Because of Tyler I will be using Shipley Towing from here on out!
