I was looking one at a dodge journey on there website last year and when i went to test drive the vehicle the next day they wanted me to drive the newer one which was more expensive but I drove it anyways. It was very cold (in January) the car was shaking a lot and I was not sold on the car but Rick kept telling me he would take care of me. I had told him I needed a reliable car because I have many dr appointments that go to and some are in Columbus and southern Ohio. He guaranteed me he would take of all the problems and boy there were problems! They had to rebuild the engine and I told him numerous times I didn t want this car that I wanted out of the deal. The mechanics they used in the Lincoln dealer Kyle feels he went above and beyond out of his way to with on a problem that I had to keep taking the car back to get fixed. Instead of fixing the problem they were just putting a band aid on the situation instead actually fixing it. Every month I had the check engine light on (same problem that supposedly to be under warranty) but because of a lying used car salesman telling me what he thought I wanted to hear and a lazy mechanic who thinks he knows it all turning around trying to talk me flat out he paid for a part and the work wasn t paid for (which was a lie because I got stuck for work that was supposed to be under warranty). So now it s taken me this long to hold my tongue but beware these guys will not back their words.

Don't buy anywhere else prior to coming to Halleck Auto Sales and speaking with Rick!He is fantastic and made the car buying process a breeze. He even helped me pick out the right extended warranty for my BMW (and by right, I don't mean most expensive- he really took the time to explain why I needed it and how much I needed). He is the type of person who goes above and beyond for his clients. He searched around to find me the best interest rate on my loan, did all the backend work with the bank and my insurance, and was even willing to help me get a spare key made! And in a stroke of good luck, he found one, saving me a ton of money.I cannot recommend Rick at Halleck Auto Sales enough!

Rick worked fast and efficiently to get my larger family in a vehicle that fit us. Friendly service and fairly decent prices in a market where everything is so darn expensive. Interest rate is a little high but definitely worth checking out if you re looking around for a new vehicle.

This place is legit, I highly recommend this place to anyone who is buying online. At first I was kinda scared buying online, since I live in California. But with good faith anything is possible. The experience was pleasant and everything worked out just right. There pricing was reasonable and affordable. Thank you very much.

I want to give a great big shout-out to Brian and Rick at Halleck Auto Sales. I live in Detroit and was trying to help my son, who lives in Bowling Green, had just started a new job and could not take off work. Therefore, I was test driving cars he found in OH. My experience with the larger dealerships in OH was horrible, dishonest, even bait and switch tactics. By the time I contacted Halleck regarding a 2014 Honda Accord Touring Sedan, my son found, I was very stressed. I had been warned against buying a used car from a small local car lot so I was a little worried. However, Halleck is where I got the BEST customer service and car. Brian my salesperson was great in making sure small needed repairs were done. Rick in finance was the absolute best. He was so patient regarding any concerns I had. He worked with my credit union in Michigan to get the money wired to Halleck, so my son would not have to take off work. They offered a great extended warranty at a reasonable price. I researched the warranty company and was happy to see that there were many satisfied customers.Thank you Halleck Auto Sales for working with me, my son and my Credit Union.Ms. Thomas

Love this place! I've bought my last two cars from them and I got solid deals. The most recent one was a 2014 Honda Accord and it's been running great for me. Bryan worked with me to find what I needed (IN my budget!) and he knows so much about cars. He made me feel much better about the one I chose, even with my lack of car knowledge. Managed to get me financed for a decent rate too which I need since I don't have extra cash just laying around lol! I really needed something reliable and SOLID. I'll always go here first in the future since I know I can trust them - it's SO hard to know who to trust on stuff like this! Grateful to have Halleck Auto as my go-to.

I can't say enough about this company. Sold me a beautiful SUV and stood behind the purchase. Rick was a great salesman and I would do business with him again!

Don't waste your time and money on these crooks. I was trying to get my son into something that would serve as basic transportation in and around town. He has a new child and was starting a new job. It was a bit difficult as I live in Arizona. I found what seemed to be a vehicle that would fill that requirement for him and worked with Brian over the phone. Well the vehicle started acting up less than a week after the purchase. It seems that it had a blown head gasket and when they were going to fix it I felt a bit better. The work however took several weeks and even when finished it would still overheat. My son took it to a reputable mechanic in the area who informed us that there was so much wrong it wouldn't even be worth trying to fix. Halleck Auto Sales wouldn't do anything for my son. They basically washed their hands of the entire deal. A few months later after basically just driving it in 15 minute trips it just died while my son was trying to get to work with his new job. So basically we paid about $100 a mile for this headache. Now I am one of those people who read reviews and think negative reviews could be user error or even someone hard to please. Believe me this review is neither.

I recently bought a 2011 Hyundai Sonata from Halleck Auto Sales and I had the best car buying experience of my life! I dealt with Andy Halleck and he was a very nice person and funny too. The transaction was very smooth and quick. He took the time to call me a few weeks later to make sure that I was happy with the purchase, way to go Andy!! I highly recommend Halleck Auto Sales for anyone that is in need of a vehicle.

My wifes car just broke down and we needed a reliable car for her, we were recommended to Hallecks cause of there prices and customer service. When we arrived the salesperson listened to our needs and wants and pointed us to a couple cars he thought would fit what we were looking for. After driving each one we sat down and discussed pros and cons with him on each vehicle. We ended up with a very nice 2014 Ford Fusion and my wife is happy with the entire transaction, we would for sure recommend and send other to see them for there auto needs

My husband bought a vehicle there a few years ago and from day one it's had transmission problems it was in the shop the first week he bought it they had it for over a week he had to use his extended warranty that he got with the loan just to get the transmission fixed within the first week he bought it now we're at 3 years and they put a used transmission in when they fixed it and it broke again at meijer's so it had to be towed and the warranty was up now so we paid out of pocket. That's all I got to say about that make the decision for yourself!

I wanna write this post because of the other comments that can be misleading as fake or bad reputation but I want this thorough. In short they are good guys and I'd recommend them to anyone. Read more for in depthI'm 20 years old and was out for my first car. I looked everywhere from Perrysburg, to Bowling Green and out to central avenue. Looked at everything under the sun. Really almost bought a few cars but am weary of dealerships because of the obvious, that many cant be trusted. Especially because they have no attachment to the vehicle as someone else might. I did however fall in love with a 05 Mazda 6. It was a little out of my price range but they came down quite a bit to get closer to my range. The car was everything I wanted and more. The car needed it's work because previous owner probably sold it so they didn't have to work on it. Which isn't a problem. BUT I want to write this because of something that shocked me so much. The car come down with a bad issue. Loss of power and sputtering. Now reading reviews and worries I never came to think of going back fearing what I could be told. After weeks of trying to figure up what could be wrong I looked into and found oil In a cylinder. After giving up and saying that I lost a car and became another victim of a scam. I went back to Halleck and a saving grace. Not in a warranty or and under no reason to help me are. They set up an appointment for a place to look into the issue farther and will cover all of the cost to a reasonable point. I felt so relieved I couldn't be more thankful. They deserve a 5 star rating in my book and I hope you look past their previous comments and give them a shot.

I called Halleck Auto Sales on 2-26-15 to inquire about a 2014 Honda CR-V that they had for sale. During this lengthy call, I was told repeatedly that this vehicle was indistinguishable from new. I drove over 30 miles that day to look at vehicle. I noticed that there were several pieces of loose or missing trim in the rear and some areas that looked like had been repainted. I asked the sales representative if this 2014 Honda CR-V had been wrecked and he said yes of course it has been wrecked. I elected to not test drive or purchase this vehicle.I decided to call Halleck Auto Sales during the trip back home to let them know that I felt like the fact that this obviously wrecked and repaired vehicle should not have been described to me over the phone as indistinguishable from new. During this call, the Halleck sales representative called me and my mother every name under the sun and kept asking me to come back. When I asked "Why?", he told me that "he wanted to punch me in the face and knock my teeth out" REALLY - Because he misrepresented the condition of a car and I called him out over it?On 2-27-15, the price was raised from $21490 to $22,990. I guess now that I informed Halleck's of all of the defects that now it is worth more?If you are considering purchasing a car from this dealership, please reconsider. There are dealers that are much more interested in giving you a fair deal for your hard earned money!

I Had bought a older car from them with 25,000 miles on it everything was OK at first went to fill up my first gas tank with it and it wouldn t go above a half a tank. The gas tank would leak I called them up and they fixed it but didn t replace any gas. Then my thermostat went out call them up and they fixed it what they didn t tell me about this vehicle was that it had a rebuilt transmission and it wasn t the first transmission that it was in. My reservoir for antifreeze was cracked and that leads antifreeze into the transmission which messed my transmission up three months after getting this car. They had fix the cracked reservoir but never thought to flush out my transmission which caused my transmission to go bad so after owning this car for a littleOver four months I had to get my transmission rebuilt when I went back and talk to them about it and told them because it leaked and ruined my transmission they should help me out they were very rude and told me that s what you get when you buy a used car and told me they weren t going to help they will take advantage of younger people I want to suggest getting a vehicle from them

We are very happy with our recent purchase of our 2015 Chevy Silverado!! The salesman was very professional, personal, and down to earth! They treat u like a friend, instead a piece of meat! I was very grateful for him going above, and beyond the call of duty! He got me approved with very little money down! The other big box stores laughed in my face, and belittled me in front of my family. My credit wasn't the greatest! But he still called his buddy at the bank, between the 2 of them, they found me the perfect truck for my family and I! We will be forever grateful for the much needed help! Thank u very much to Bull, "my salesman" and the team at Halleck auto sales! Keep up the good work gentlemen!

A++++......To be honest I was a little hesitant to stop out to Halleck at first. I have always purchased my cars from larger dealerships. Well I am happy to report I stopped out and what a fantastic experience it was. They had the car pulled up and ready for me the whole process had such a personal touch from start to finish.

I have been a customer of Halleck Auto for many years now, and I absolutely love them! I have purchased quite a bit from them and every vehicle that I have had was in excellent condition, and definitely up to my standards. They are very friendly and go out of their way to meet the needs of every customer!!

Halleck Auto Sales has a low level of integrity with their sales associates. I Communicated to them about a 2010 Honda Civic and had an agreement to pick up the vehicle the following morning for their asking price. I came in at 9:30a when they opened with the check in hand, and presented myself to them as the customer here to buy the civic and they told me that even though we had previously agreed the day before that they had sold it that same morning to someone who came in. I drove over an hour to pick up the vehicle. They will lie to you, mislead you, and do not value the customers time.

Checked out a 2012 Subaru Legacy for sale for $10750. The engine was all rusted up, flooded with coolant from a leak, and there were no fender walls. Sketchiest place I have ever looked at a car. Would not even recommend looking there, even for a first time car.

I've made two vehicle purchases here over the last few years, they are honest and no pressure. I think they understand their customer's needs and work efficiently to make them happen.

I recently acquired a 2007 Honda Civic from them and have had nothing but car issues they themselves never told me about. I have had it less than 2 months and have had probably 5 major issues with it!

Overpriced my partner and I on cars, didn't explain the entire contract to us and ended up schmoozing us for almost 10k more than the asking price PER CAR.
