This is my 2nd time trying to use them. The reason I say 2nd time trying is I called them before and they recommended I take it to a dealer due to the severity of the issue. Any mechanic that's willing to pass up making money to help a person is alright in my book. This time I asked them to change out a starter. Not only was the price okay, they came in under the estimated price.Will definitely recommend them and return for any of my needs.

I called here with major concerns about my transmission, thinking the worst. The dealership wouldn't give me anything other than a quote of $140 to diagnose. Mind you, I know nothing about my car other than how to drive it. When I called Frank's, they told me about checking my transmission fluid, and it turned out, that was all I needed. $13 dollars to get me through until I can afford a transmission service, if i even need one. It sounds stupid, but for someone who was genuinely just ignorant, it means everything. They could have charged me a lot of money to tell me the fluid was low, but they just offered advice for free. So thankful for them, and if I ever need anything in the future, they will have my business 100%

So i recently upgraded my car and took it to the dealership for some diagnosis and was told about the things that needed to be done on the car. Dealership gave me a very high quote and on my way home, i stopped by at franks and explained everything the dealership told me. He advised me to get the parts myself to save cost and also fixed all the issues that was diagnosed by the dealership for less than half the quote i was given. He changed my air filter and rear light bulb free at no cost.I recommed anytime anyday because i feel safe talking to him about my car knowing he cares and wont try to rip me off because i know nothing about cars.

AJ was fantastic! Got to me ASAP, was kind, understanding, and knowledgeable of the situation. Even took special care with my lowered car when lifting it onto the truck. I cannot recommend them enough!

I needed the AC recharged in my bucket truck. He went out of his way to make sure it was done properly, was also very professional and a great price! Will definitely be using Frank's Automotive again!

This was my first time taking it to an auto body shop and I was so scared and nervous that they were going to charge me so much especially for being a woman. Cuz you usually hear all the bad things that they change women more. Believe an trust me not this place at all . They took their time with my car and explained everything to me. Plus it was the cheapest place that I have found that has the best hospitality and very professional and took their time to listen to me. I cannot thank them enough for helping me. My family and I are newer to the area and didn't know where to take my car for repairs. I went to a big retail place and they said they couldn't help me. I called around and found Frank's, he told me to bring it right in and he would take a look. He explained everything to me, found the problem and fixed it! Very reasonably priced too. They were all so friendly inside. A great, honest, family business. I will definitely be bringing my 4 cars to him when I need to!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Frank is a wonderful, honest & up-front independent business man!! I've never had an auto shop treat me so professionally & at the same time willing to educate me about my vehicle without being ' talked down to'. Instant respect for this man & his business!!!!! He has a customer for life!!!!

I ran into issues with my spare tire after having it changed by another party following a flat. Frank made time in his schedule for me and explained the problem clearly to me. I was in a bit of a time crunch and he helped me quickly and on the same day I called. If I ever have auto trouble in the future, this is where I ll go.

I've had my Trans Am at this shop a couple times. Franky is very knowledgeable and does an awesome job. Ive been to numerous shops that overcharge or don't do a repair correctly. I won't take my car anywhere else from now on. I have gone to Frank's for the last ten years for all of the repairs on my vehicles. Every single time Frank was there, he and his guys have always done their best. What's more is that unlike most mechanics, Frank is reliable and trustworthy and will always tell you like it is. If you're around bowling Green, take it to Franks and get the best service in town. I do not recommend! Only looks out for himself! I have had my car fixed here and have had recommended others to him! Recently i had my car towed to his lot and he would not wave the fee. Being a loyal customer and paying him for my services on multiple occasions and he would not wave my fee. I understand it is his job to tow and charge but being a loyal customer for many services over the past year, you would think that would mean something to him. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

I called roadside assistance from my Geico insurance. Franks Automotive sent a tow truck immediately even though I was an hour away. The tow truck driver was kind and explained what he was doing. I highly recommend this place. Who cares about the cost when you have a wonderful tow truck company that is extremely helpful. Wonderful job

They were dishonest with their pricing. You can see the sign clearly says a max of $90. He charged more than $150. He claimed people violated the sign? Then said people tore off his stickers? He clearly didn t update the price and refused to admit it

Frank's was able to get my car back on the road faster than anticipated, which meant that I did not have to miss an extra day of work. They outlined exactly what was wrong with my car and did not try to upsell or upcharge me like other places might. I was in an accident and the county police called Franks to have me towed. I only had liability insurance so I was responsible for paying the tow fee. They charged me $290 to tow my car 3 miles. They added a bunch of ridiculous fees to my bill. They are a bunch of scam artists. Frank is the worst. He will lie right to your face and act like a nice guy when he is really a huge scumbag. Just as a side note my work colleague had car trouble and had his car towed 13 miles by someone else and his bill was only $125. So I know Franks ripped me off big time. Do not go to this place for any reason. If I could give this guy zero stars I would.

My daughter's brakes stopped working about a mile from here, so we were looking for a close place that could fix it and get her back on the road fast, because she works for one of those employers who doesn't accept car trouble as an acceptable reason to miss work! So these guys got her in and managed to get the parts and rebuild her rear brakes in about 5 hours. And the price was fair for all the parts needed. Thanks for the fast work and caring about our situation!

This place is the most honest and helpful car mechanic I have ever been to. I have had a series of issues with my car, and they helped me out with great service and at a great price. I was always able to get my car in on the same or next day and they even took the time to show and explain to me what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. It is hard to find mechanics like them that truly value their customers and I would recommend this place to anyone. You won't regret it!

If you are looking for a mechanic with fair prices and quick turn around, Frank is the guy for you. He takes care of all of his customers personally and is polite and kind to everyone. He genuinely cares about the safety of his customers above making a huge profit from them, which is refreshing compared to some other mechanics in town. His staff is knowledgeable and hard working. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the BG area.

I love franks! I always take my car there because they re honest and always do a great job. Frank has even helped me understand some things about my car. I feel that he goes above and beyond what a normal mechanic does.
