I was rear-ended on the interstate on 6/6/18 and my suspicions were confirmed that it was a total loss. It was sad because I really liked that car and it was paidoff. Very sad when I had to go clean it out I searched for days for a replacement but was unsuccessful until I found a slightly used 2017 plug in at Bowling Green Lincoln in Bowling Green Ohio. It was just what I was looking for so I went to Bowling Green OH with a check for the entire purchase price to pickup up my new ride! Yes it was a six and a half hour drive but when you find the perfect ride you do what you have to do!!! All of this transpired in about a 4-5 hour time span before I hit the road. The folks, namely Molly Crowe the sales rep and Lisa the finance manager, at Bowling Green Lincoln Auto Sales in Ohio were so nice and helpful in dealing with me in a very timely fashion. They were very fair with the price of the car and accomadating since I was coming from out of state. They really went out of their way to accommodate my short time frame and having the car ready. The issue I have, and why it's a 2 star rating, is that on my ride home I noticed a sharp vibration and ultimately figured out it was either a tire or a driveline issue. Once I arrived home I took it to my local Discount Tire who has done my tires for years and they discovered a bent rim. I called Molly who put me in touch with Mark the sales manager. Now I understand its a used car but I pretty much paid their full asking price. He wanted me to get the wheel repaired which, in my opinion, is not a safe process since you have to heat the wheel to reshape it which changes the wheels structure. Heating part of the wheel makes it harder than the rest of the wheel. I simply asked for a used (not remanufactured) replacement wheel and he said he would call me back. Well a week later no call, ignoring me despite calling and emailing, I even said I would split the cost so I would have been less than 200 for them to help me. What frustrated me the most is the lack of communication and simply ignoring me, if you don't want to help just say so but I guess that's used car sales especially when you are 450 miles away.Anyway, Molly and Lisa were awesome and other than the bent wheel the car is great.Update 6/23/18 4:30 pm. Ironically I just received an email from Mark and he apologized for the long delay in replying back and has excepted my offer to split the cost of a used wheel. He said he would have a check in the mail on Monday. I'm appreciative that he has accepted the offer and is willing to help. I told him when I first spoke to him that I truly believe they didn't send it out intentionally it was just missed so I have no bad feelings about it. Again I'm grateful for the communication and the assistance which is all I wanted. If you see this, thank you Mark for your time and assistance.Update 7/12/18 Mark actually followed up with me to make sure that I was happy with the car and had received the check. I told him the check never came and he then went out of his way to research it, stop payment and reissue a check, which included him emailing me a picture of the replacement. Having worked in the car business for a good 10+ years before I moved into the world of technology I really appreciate him following up and doing that. Most people would have just left it alone especially considering I'm out of state knowing they would probably never see me again. I really appreciate his integrity, that is a rare trait in the car business sometimes.Problems happen and that's ok, it's how they are handled that separates you from everyone else and he and the dealer handled this situation in a way that makes them one of the good ones. If you are in the area and looking for a car go see them, if I ever need another vehicle that they have and no one else has I'd definitely do business with them again. Being almost 500 miles away, that says a lot!!#FordFusionEnergi #FordPower #GoGreen #Hybrid

Don t take your vehicle here for service! We had our vehicle there three times and the detail job was still not complete. The third time we went back to get our vehicle, the detail guy came out and cussed and swore at us. He went back in and a manager came out and also cussed at my husband and got in his face yelling. He stated what do you expect, it s just a used vehicle. They refused to give us our money back, because they did SOME work on it. Yet they claim they did the whole job.We paid for a job they did not complete. As you can see in the pictures, the dirt and debri are still there in obvious places.

May 2022 - Purchased a vehicle for 25k from this dealership - 6k downBefore purchasing it, they made a work order stating they were going to replace the front shock & struts and give it an interior & exterior detail. After waiting about a week or two for these parts to come in, I gave them a call and they had forgotten to even order them. A little annoying, but it was whatever. I just wanted the parts for the vehicle and they ordered them that same day. About a week went by until they got the parts and set up the appointment to replace the current shocks and struts and then detail it.I pick the car up, no cleaning whatsoever. The car still was making the same exact noise as it was before. I went back in, said something to Nate (who really needs to work on his attitude), and he tells me the Mazda guy won't be back in til next week and we could do the detail then. Told me to call or stop in again next week.. which I did, and he still wasn't there.I purchased the vehicle in May of 2022 and Nate gave me the run around til about August or September til I stopped bugging them completely. I recently reached back out to try and warranty the shocks and struts out so I could just take them to my mechanic (who confirmed that they did not install them properly or installed defective ones) to get them done PROPERLY.And of course as expected, it has been weeks since I have called and no follow up from Nate.6/22 - To top it off, it ended up being more than shocks and struts and that was why the suspension was still making noises (which Nate or anyone refused to listen to with me). The car blew out a control arm and pretty much most of the suspension parts which caused the damage to the shocks I wanted to warranty. Luckily I was just pulling out of my driveway or it could have been a deadly situation, which they are very lucky it was not.Aside from the terrible experience with the shop, Christy was my saleswoman when I did buy the vehicle and she was great. The lady who runs the credit department is just as amazing and was very helpful with my buy and very educating. But, I really regret coming here and I wish I would've taken my hard earned money somewhere else.** Edit. 6/23 I called them again over the summer in another attempt to warranty my quick struts and after a conversation with one of the sales reps, they said they'd pass my info along to upper management and id get a call back. Once again, no call back and not the slightest bit of followup. It is understandable that they are not in control of the vehicles they sell, but they put fourth no effort to reprimand promises that they do not follow up on.

Bought a used 2014 Mustang with multiple previous owners and about 33k on the odometer in November 2019, had to drive multiple hoursto the dealership after finding the vehicle listed online. 3 and a half years and 30k more miles later, the vehicle has required nothing but regular checkups, is exactly what I wanted and paid for (and has been paid off for quite some time), and completed a multi day long journey both ways earlier this year.Dealership has a nice segment of their business catering to folks like me with used flips that, at least in my experience, was a great deal for both the seller and the buyer. Had to be one of their easiest sales, I was committed long before I stepped foot in the dealership and they knew it but I was still treated fairly and sold a great vehicle.

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!! I purchased a car here only to find it had a salvaged title. They never mentioned it to me. Shady business practices here. Take your business somewhere else!

Just recently purchased a 2020 Ford Explorer we stumbled upon online from here. My husband contacted them and was able to discuss pricing and such prior with Christy, since we lived over 100 miles away. We made the drive the next day and worked with Aiden and Lisa. They were very kind, professional, and made sure are car buying experience was as comfortable a possible. The GM also stopped by that day and made sure to acknowledge us and thanked us for coming in. The show room has an awesome collection of cars and memorabilia. They even delivered my new car and pick up my old car a couple days later. Overall they have earned our future business.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience (with the repair shop specifically). When I originally brought my car in to be looked at, they told me the inspection would take about an hour. Along with it actually only taking an hour, multiple employees came offer to talk to my friend and I and offer us a drink. The part came in within their estimation and they were quick to fix it the morning I dropped off my car. As a young woman, I felt very respected and not like I was being taken advantage of by any means. They explained to me what the problem was in a way that I would understand, but not in a way that would make me feel dumb. All the guys were very helpful and genuine! Highly recommend.

This is our story. It was a cold snowy day when we drove by the dealership and seen a beautiful truck. So we pulled in to look at it. My husband loved it! When we got home I called to get info on it. The next day I went to Toledo and my husband went to the dealership. He bought the truck with a trade-in and cash. He was so excited and happy. I came home from Toledo and we decided to go for a ride. No heat. I also noticed no rear view mirror but I found that in the glove compartment. Why???? After that our neighbor came over and told us the rear passenger tail light was out. I called the dralership about the heat. The car had the original paper that was on the back window that had the box checked for"full dealership warranty" I wanted them to fix it. It's winter. It's cold. I was then told the car was as is. That they aren't going to fix because it was sold as is. That the paper on the back that was on it when we first looked at it was not true because they would never sell a truck that old with a full warranty. We paid $14700.00 for this truck. So to pacify, us they said take it to Tireman get an estimate on what it would cost and they would see what they could do. Now we are having the truck towed to somewhere we can trust and are not jerks because the head gaskets are leaking. No worries Lincoln you will be getting a bill from our lawyer. I have that original Full warranty paper. No way to run a business. Would not recommend. Not honorable.

I was referred to the body shop at BG Lincoln Mercury after a fender bender. The service was top notch. They communicated openly and along every step of the way, while being extremely personable. Joe, specifically, was so kind and patient with me and my questions. They ended up having my car done 2 days ahead of schedule and it was like brand new. Highly recommend.

Drew the Man did not answer the phone but David Baer did and I could not have been better taken care of. I told Dave what I was after and made an appointment to visit the next day. He had three cars sitting our front, side by side, and I passed over the Buick and Lincoln snagging the Ford Taurus. The transaction was smooth, friendly, and orderly from start to finish. I highly recommend this dealership and want to give a tip of the cap to Lisa who made the financial end of this transaction go lightning quick.

My daughte bought a used car from here. With in 2 weeks it started over heating. The used car manager was extremely rude when we asked for them to fix it it tyrned out to be l m a "hose" that came off 2 weeks later started over heating again. Called them and they were even ruder. Agreed to pay half due to it now being a broken radiator cap. The car continues to overheat and the engine light is on. The manager refused to talk to my daughter stating " I am not putting any more money into that car". She paid over $15,000, for a broken vehicle. NEVER BUY A USED CAR FROM THEM

I was originally going to hold off on writing a bad review, however today has been the last straw for me. I purchased a used Honda Odyssey mini van from this dealership back in April of 2018. They were advertising a great price, and at the time, based on the information I was provided I thought I was getting a good deal. Sadly, this place lives up to the reputation of a sleazy used car dealership. When I went to purchase the used mini van, we had a leased vehicle that needed to be traded in as part of the deal. When negotiating with this dealer, it was understood that the lease would need to be terminated in order to purchase a car from them. They told me that, as part of the deal they would handle any payments necessary to end the lease with GM. The lease was not set to end until October of 2018, so imagine my surprise when I received a final bill from GM in the amount of almost $1,000! I took the final bill to the Lincoln dealer to see what we can do to get this resolved, as the manager there assured me that I would not suffer any additional costs to end the lease. Unfortunately no one there wanted to help make this situation right, and now I'm on my own to handle this part of the transaction with GM.In addition to this, the min van we purchased from them was supposed to have "new brakes, new tires, new battery". Within 6 months of purchasing the vehicle, we found out the "new tires" were cupped and would have to be replaced, the "new brakes" are warped and need to be replaced, and the "new battery" is undersized for the vehicle and also needs to be replaced. In addition to this, the negative terminal on the battery is stripped and also has to be replaced. When I took it to the Lincoln dealer to see if they would make this right, they only wanted to sell me additional services and took no responsibility on their parts for having sold me a defective vehicle. If you are considering doing business with this place, I would proceed with ABSOLUTE CAUTION, because I hate to see someone else have to suffer in the same way I have!! If I could give this place ZERO stars I would, because I feel even giving them one star is too many!!

Trying to decide on a new car when my previous lease was up was so stressful. Bowling Green Lincoln Auto made the entire process stress free. Everyone I worked with was so helpful. I am from Michigan and they completely streamlined the process for me, even having one of their staff drive down to do my car registration for me and then delivered my car right to my door, having me sign my lease paperwork from the comfort of my kitchen. Their customer service was impeccable and they were always very attentive. I was hesitant to do everything over the phone because often things get lost in translation or misinterpreted, but with them, I d do it again in a heartbeat! I highly recommend BGLA for all of your car leasing needs!

I found a 2017 Ford Edge on Autotrader that I was interested in seeing. I called the dealership and found out it was sold. :( I spoke with David and he mentioned another one that was a year older, but it even had more extras than the other. Sure I was disappointed because I really liked the other color, but decided to take the hour drive and see it. SO glad I did. Davis was not pushy. My husband and I took it for a test drive and fell in love with it. He even offered to have a few cosmetic things taken care and the oil changed. Lisa, the finance officer, was great too! She found us the lowest rate. She wasn t pushy with all the extras we could get for the Edge. We pick up our new ride on Tuesday. :) I will never shop at a car dealer in the Sandusky area again. It is worth the drive!

I honestly always try to be optimistic and find the best in every situation. But my experience after buying my Lincoln MKZ has been awful. I have had nothing but problems since delivery of my car. It has been in the shop longer than in my possession, and there are no answers to the problems I am having. The folks at the dealership were very helpful of the purchase of the car. But the car itself is not something that I would even sell my worst enemy.Even though I have a warranty, I am still stuck wondering and worrying daily about my car. I wish I hadn't ever purchased it. I have owned quite a few cars in my life, and never have had as many problems with all of them combined as I have this car.

Honestly I must say, I'd be lying if I told you all every dealership is going to get you approved. However, Bowling Green Lincoln Auto Sales will FIGHT for you. Even without the best credit or the greatest amount of money down. They make you feel at home and they're very honest. David is an awesome Sales Rep and gives you all of your most realistic options, and fully discloses every piece of information to you. They are very quick with calling you back and getting the job done. I DEFINITELY recommend them. EVEN if you're not looking for a Lincoln vehicle, they'll find a car for you at any of their sister companies. Highly recommend.

I was rear ended and the other insurance asked that I get a quote through this company. I decided to go ahead and trust that they had quality work... got the estimate and allowed the body shop to fix the car (Big mistake)After it took almost a week... I picked my car up yesterday and 3 major things were wrong with the car!1. The wrong tail lights were put on not even close to what was on the car clear lights and they put red lights on?2. The trunk doesn't even shut and is higher than the rest of the car3. It is making a LOUD rattling sound when in parkAfter being disrespected by the manager I was very upset That he put random lights on the car he said well I didnt know of you liked those lights. Jesse Lane NEVER ONCE called me about repairs. I actually had an app that stated a certain Time to pick up the car. Now I understand people run behind he never updated it and I had to call to check if it was done. It wasnt so it was an extra day fine no big deal but at that time he could have easily discussed any prior bumps in the road. Maybe he had a hard time finding the lights -they were cool. Jesse stated if I would have put the same lights on this car it would have totalled the car... excuse me so your estimate was not accurate and the car should have been totalled is what you are telling me?! Jesse lane was very disrespectful that I had a 2005 Civic and I left bawling feeling like I was trash because my car is so old and not even worth driving... dont put yourself through this kind of customer service. Because any car you drive is good enough and no one should be disrespected over the year of their car.

After a rather grueling car accident, we searched for another Jeep Wrangler. Bowling Green Lincoln was our answer. We drove 156 miles from Massillon, Ohio and arrived 40 minutes before closing time. We were greeted at the door by a smiling young man by the name of David. My husband and I got a instant great feeling of a family owned dealership. From there on our car buying experience just became better! We love our Jeep, and the drive felt like nothing at all. Thank you Bowling Green Lincoln for good old fashioned customer service!

After searching for months for the perfect "new" Ford Explorer (I'm extremely picky) we stumbled upon a contender at BG Lincoln. I had signed up for price alerts through their website and soon after, Drew Haslinger reached out to me. After a few e-mails back and forth my fiance and I decided to come in for a test drive. Well, we ended up leaving that day with a new-to-me 2016 Ford Explorer! Drew made the ENTIRE process run smoothly. He was upfront, honest and never pushy! They were extremely reasonable on price when it came to my purchase as well as my trade in. We will definitely be coming back to Drew and BG Lincoln for any future purchases. Customer service before, during, and after the sale is clearly a top priority for everyone at BG Lincoln. Thank you, Drew!

Incredibly rude and very pushy, company would rather bank a sale than have any actual interest in the client. Your average comedic car salesmen.
