This company over charges unbelievably! Don't use them unless you've got deep pockets! I was told I could get my car the next day (Sunday) but when I called I was told they might meet me there for an additional fee. I was then quoted a total price for Monday pick-up & when I got there they wanted to charge me more.

Had Mike's dispatched with roadside assistance. I asked the driver (I am horrible with names!) a million and 1 questions. He answered them all and was quick with the pick-up and drop-off. All you can ask for with a tow!

Had my truck towed here for some fault codes. This place is first class. Everyone was super nice and Mike, the owner, goes above and beyond. I definitely recommend if your cmv needs any work done.

Mike's Towing drove immediately all the way out to Loudonville and gave us a ride back in to Mount Vernon. We didn't have AAA but the service was affordable. Other businesses told us we'd have to wait for hours, they couldn't tow the distance, or didn't answer their phone. Also, the driver was friendly and deserves a raise for coming out in the cold and bringing us home promptly and safe. Would recommend!Service: Car towing

Please stay away from this place .We were towed here and it was our biggest mistake. This man is a money maker . Also diagnostic was really awful they can t diagnose a fuel pump for whole day and for towing 10 miles and many hours of diagnostic we paid 1850 dollars !!!Also I will share our experience in all my truck drivers groups

These people are so kind and wonderful. I was on my way to my cousin's wedding when my car broke down on the highway. Roadside assistance wanted over 500 for towing since I didn't have it with my insurance. I called them and they were there in 30 minutes. They towed my car and fixed it in about an hour. My serpentine belt lost all it's tension. The fix and tow was less than 300 combined. When the mechanic looked at my car, he noticed my timing belt was rough. He was concerned. I could stay and they could fix it Monday or leave. I went home since I have work on Monday. They were all amazing and nice. The mechanic didn't have to stay past his shift, but he did. That's how kind they are.

If you need a Road Service this is the people you need to call, very professionals and very patient, they help you out in getting your parts from the dealer if they don't have the part you need. Damian was our road mechanic and he did such an amazing job and super fast 10/10

Absolutely fantastic service all around. Had a blown tire off of 71 and these folks got me towed and fixed up with a new tire quickly and with great customer service. The best part, they mistakenly quoted me for a used tire (all they had in stock for my vehicle) but gave me a brand new tire! They insisted that I only pay the price quoted on the phone, even though the actual tire cost about three times as much as what I paid (labor included, not including the tow) , because they thought it was the honest thing to do. Gentleman said "That's how I run my business. If I tell you a price then that's what you're paying, not more." Super appreciative of the honesty and integrity of this business. Not many people in this world who would keep by their word in such a way! I don't live near this establishment enough to frequent it, but I highly recommend it to anyone in need of quick and professional auto care in the area.Services: Car towing, Tire change

Flat tire on our cargo trailer on the way to Mohican for camping. Mike's was the only place in the area that responded and was able to get the trailer jacked up and tire back on. Thanks Nate!

I broke down in a semi in Belleville Ohio and called many tow companies to just get me off the interstate and nobody would come out because of the snowy and icy conditions except for Mike's Towing. They got to me in a quick hurry and got me towed. They dropped me off at the hotel and got my truck and trailer to their shop and even though it was late, even started working on it to get me going again. They all seemed to be a good group of guys and I would recommend them to anyone. They kept me on the up and up about progress of repairs and came and picked me up from the hotel Saturday evening to get my truck.

Highly recommend! VERYGood and honest shop. They really went above and beyond, Damien in particular, to get me up and rolling down the road again. It's a shame not all mechanic shops are like these guys.

I called them for repair my trailer s brake chamber. They charged me $250 for towing service. rest for repair and labour which is OK. It was a service call as mechanic shop get call for roadside assistance and they charge a desent amount of $50-100 for service not the 250. I think you should clear that if shop is for towing or repair.

On 4/25/19 a miserable raining night I was stranded, and .Seth of Mike's Towing rescued me and my vehicle. They were there in within 45 minutes or less. Seth was very kind and courteous and made me feel safe and taken care of. I have had a few roadside assistance tows and I can't say they were bad experiences but Mike's I put at the top of the list and it was a very pleasant experience to break down in their service area. Thank you Seth ...

Great service - above and beyond. I had a flat on the highway tonight, and needed a new tire to get me to Mansfield and back to Columbus by morning. They were the only shop open for 30miles in any direction, and I only trusted my old donut to get me that far. Technically they weren't even open for service, because by time I got ahold of them, the mechanics were off duty. The tow driver for the day, Seth, was on the road, and offered to come in to do the tire change. I was back on the road 30 or 40 minutes after I pulled in. Prices were definitely fair. Came in feeling bad, left feeling good - not the usual pattern when it comes to emergency auto service. Thanks y'all!Nick

I was referred to Mike's Repair shop by a friend. Joey the Service Manager was very kind and easy to work with. Shawn, one of the Service Technicians who worked on my car, explained the needed repairs to me in a way that was simple to understand, and he got my car running in top shape. Everyone I met there was nice, honest, and helpful. Not only will I go back if need be but I will not hesitate to refer friends and family to them. Keep up the great work!Matthew MuschottColumbus, Oh

Serpentine belt broke on my son's vehicle while he was following me home (Cincinnati, OH) from Cleveland. Seth with Mike's Towing and Repair was outstanding! Had him tow the vehicle from approximately 120 miles one way. He even stopped to check the vehicle after travelling a rough patch of I71 just south of Columbus. He was very positive, upbeat and professional even after the long haul.Service: Long distance hauling

Can not say enough good things about this company! Hit a deer with 5 other people in the car, 4 being kids. Seth came and got us 3 at a time and took us to the station so we didn t have to sit on the side of the road at 8 pm in the cold and wait for my husband to get there. We were 1.5 hours away from home. They gave the kids hot chocolate while we waited for my husband who could only take 4 of us. Seth towed us and took 2 of us 1.5 hours back home and was very professional! I spoke with mikayla on the phone who was very nice also. Would definitely recommend this company!Service: Car towing

Let's be honest- all tow companies will tow you from point A to point B. So what seperates Mike's? Professionalism, courtesy, and convenience. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but your car is dead, and your stuck downtown at night and freezing, it really is. Huge shout out to my tow driver and the call center rep- you guys are awesome! You're my go-to from now on!-JGService: Car towing

I needed a road service, and than later I called for towing too.Of course, I was nervous (I guess everyone is when got breakdown with semi). But than came Zach.He fixed my truck in no time, with normal, realistic charge (road services are usually a rip off).Later he towed me for 3 miles (the truck was ok, but I run out of hours, and company asked... huh, long story).Anyway, very, very good person, extremely good at his job, expedite, reliable, efficient.Because of him, and the service he provided, 5 stars.Zach rules.

Good people but not great mechanics. They worked on my truck for nearly a month just to charge me $7500 for work that was not needed. Truck broke down less than a month later because the same problem we brought it to them for was never fixed. Im sure they are great at towing but i would not recommend anyone to go there for mechanical work.

My car was broken down about an hour out of Columbus. I called AAA who contacted Fredericktown Marathon. A tow truck arrived at my location in about 20 mins. Kyle was so friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He drove me 45 dropped me off at a friends house and continued to tow my vehicle and dropped it off at the mechanics. He even helped me unload my luggage from my car when he dropped me off. The best experience I ve had with a tow company! Thanks Kyle

I was in an accident and my car was towed to this place by a very friendly flatbed truck operator. The vehicle was totalled so I had to get my stuff out of it. The accident was on I71 on my way to Dayton. I get off work, 40 min west of Dayton, at 330 and the impound lot closes at 5. I called three times in a week to set up a day and time so that I was sure they would keep the impound lot open for me. The lady I talked to in the second call said she would try to find someone to meet me that evening and would call back. She never called back. Instead, I called a third time shortly after leaving work and told the same woman my earliest ETA would be 610. She said to mention her name and that someone would be there until at least 8. Two and a half hours later I arrived and mentioned the situation to the people behind the counter and they said they had no idea what I was talking about and reminded me of their 5 pm close time. I mentioned the woman's name and they told me to wait while they tried to contact her. She didn't respond to the calls the cashier/attendant made and so they told me to leave and come back at 8. This was absolutely ridiculous and something I would expect from a 5 year old running a lemonade stand. Very unprofessional, unorganized, and unaccommodating. I work during the entire business hours of the lot and could not possibly have gotten there on time. I haven't been at my current job long enough to qualify for vacation so taking time off was not an option. This whole experience was a nightmare and my experience with Mike's Towing was almost as bad as the crash itself. The only redeeming thing was the exceptionally friendly truck operator who made me laugh and feel better about the whole experience. If not for him (whom I rate 5 stars), I would make this rating a 1.

Our roadside assistance company located Mike when our motorhome would not start. While we were expecting he would have to tow it to a local shop, he was able to get it running so that we could drive it to his facility in order to fix the real problem. Mike is a very likable fellow and explained everything he was doing. I learned a lot about our engine as I watched him work. I feel that he is a great mechanic and very honest. He will now be our choice for service.

The service we received from Kyle, Marc, and Makayla was incredible!! They went out of their way to accommodate our family, service our vehicle, and get us back on the road!!! We were blown away by their commitment to service, and that s an understatement! We couldn t have broke down in a better place!!

My husband broke down on I71 Friday night at 830PM. Mikes towing confirmed pick up and cancelled on him several times. His alternator was out so he had no lights and no heat. At 1130 I went up so he could have a warm car to sit in while he waited on the tow. Finally , Mike himself called husband and apologized for the wait and confusion and stated that he was sending someone right away. Once again my husband told Mike that it was a box truck with low steps, so make sure to send the right tow truck. Finally at 2AM Seth showed up and realized the truck wouldnt be able to tow without dragging. Seth called Mike and Mike said to have it towed to their shop instead of our local mechanic in Centerburg. Seth said that they would fix it for free because of all the trouble they had caused us that night. Well today they called my husband and charged him $330.08 for the repair . They lied to us just so they wouldn't have to tow it clear to Centerburg. I'm a very disapointed with Mike and Seth. Don't trust them.

I was visiting the area and these guys did a good job taking care of my vehicle which was having some problems with the heating in the car. They did it quickly and provided some really good service. There is a reason that they have established such a good reputation in Fredericktown as a quality shop.

Absolutely fantastic service and an excellent and friendly crew. Helped me out in a serious pinch and got my work van off 71 northbound. Would highly recommend if you need service in the area. The gentleman who picked me up was Seth. Great guy, real down to earth.

Can anyone there actually return a call? I have left 3 messages today to check the status of a repair for my company and my calls have gone un-returned. I left a message yesterday and no response. The President of our company left a message on Friday and the call has not been returned. Update on my review our truck is still being held hostage by this repair shop. After we were assured that our truck would be available last weekend we still do not have our truck. The owner will not return our calls and no one in the office will give us an update.

Richard from Mike's met me at the Shell station at 71 and 95 at Mount Gilead. He was a great guy and changed the tire on my wife's SUV. Richard got down on the wet, slushy ground and worked like a champion. Let it be noted, I carry a gold AAA card and I waited an hour on hold for them, and never spoke to a human, when Ayla from the Shell station, and it's kindly owner, got me connected with Mike. I called and he sent Richard. So, please you locals use these guys and I wish the best to any other traveler, like me. If you have misfortune at 71 and 95--go to the Shell convenience store and also called Mike's Towing. Bless you guys, I can't wait to contact AAA for a little talking to.
