Be aware they charge you an extra 3% if you need to pay with a credit or debit card. Nothing like charging extra because your poor.When I complained they didn't fix the headlight they told me a working headlight is cosmetic so they didn't bother to fix it. Really disappointed in the service provided for the cost.

I live out of town and my car unexpectedly broke down which ended up being a belt and pulley. I had my car towed to Mason's Automotive and Perry and the crew did an amazing job. One of the best shops I have ever used. They got me in the same day and did the repairs for a more than fair price. Perry also explained everything and made some suggestions for things to watch out for but did not try to upsell me or do repairs that were not needed. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop for your auto repair needs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

He got my vehicle in right away did everything that needed repair. Did a check over and really made sure everything was good. I already told my family where they should take their vehicle's. Absolutely love this shop! I have been taking my cars here for years! They treat you with respect and have awesome prices! I have had my brakes done, ball joints, door bushings and pins, steering fixed all by the skilled technicians at Masons automotive they even caught in a nail in my tire that I did t notice because it wasn't leaking air, really a 5 star shop!

Perry is an honest mechanic and owner. I got my brakes replaced and they were still making noise for someone known reason and he didn't hesitate that my car in the next day and replace them again at no cost to me

I was trying to find a shop that could get my car in sooner than later after it started shuddering while accelerating. Most places were days if not weeks out for appts. When I called Mason s, Perry had me bring it up there that day and drove it around in hopes of maybe getting an idea of what it might be. After trouble shooting and using his years of experience to try to get to the root of the problem (and a lot more labor put in it than I was charged) he figured it out and my car is running better now than it has in a long while. We will definitely be returning to this shop (hopefully not too often lol). I highly recommend Mason s. Perry was more worried about getting my car fixed and back to me than making money off of us and he kept me updated through out the entire process. Thank you, Perry!

Perry Mason s shop does excellent work in a timely manner. He was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He also charged a reasonable rate for his work, especially when compared to the usually high prices of the dealerships. His work, at least with my problem was on par with the dealership. I definitely would recommend him, especially if your problem or car is no longer covered by the dealership s warranty.

Very timely, had the part ready for him upon arrival, he was finished installing a new blend door actuater for a Ford Explorer within an hour. Now we have heat during this cold winter! Five gold stars and you deserve more! Look no further, you have found the best of the best. YES! Simply the best. I challenge anyone to find a more honest mechanic ANYWHERE. I was given 5 star everything. Let's just start out by saying you must treat any negative review with suspicion since literally anyone with a Google account can leave a review regardless of them being a customer or not and the owner has no recourse but to swallow the bull. I have been driving for 40 years and have mostly always done my own repairs so I know when I see an honest mechanic and this business is the REAL DEAL! Perry came in on a Sunday with his crew to work on my car and others to catch up for lost time. Dishonest mechanics who, according to impostor reviewer Miguel Garcia "steal batteries", never work on Sundays! Only an honest man would voluntarily work on a Sunday. Mason's is a rare find. Honest and forthright. I have had the misfortune of dealing with many shady repair shops in the past and THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE. Perry saw the disgrace that was my battery so he cleaned it up and installed new clamps + sprayed on sealer and I don't believe he even charged me for it. The work done to my car is exactly what we agreed upon and he went the extra mile. My car now drives better that when I bought it. Thank you Mason's And to the rest of you reading this, please disregard the negative reviews they are malicious and misplaced.

The owner is great, hands-on involved, very friendly, courteous, prompt. He was able to get my parents auto in for a window fix without any notice. Then they completed the work easily within a day, rates were very reasonable, and hes friendly on top of all that. I would highly recommend this shop and I rarely stray from the dealership for my repairs.

Mason's Automotive is a good choice for honest estimates, great service, and reliable repairs.I wasn't sure if my car (97)was worth having repairs done. Mr Mason answered all my questions. Gave me a estimate and price. The work was done as agreed quickly and my car RUNS GREAT. MASON'S WILL BE GETTING ALL MY BUSINESS.

I ve been going to Mason s Automotive for years now for all of my auto repairs and I ve always received great professional customer service. Recently, I had an issue with my back window not rolling back up. I called Perry in a bind because it was about to rain, I have a three month old, and a Basketball Tournament that I was leaving for in a few hours! The Delearship couldn t get me in until the following day and I needed my window up before getting on the highway. After calling Perry, he said to bring it by the shop and within 15 minutes, he had my window back up and told me the problem free of charge. Thanks to him, I could go on about my day as scheduled:)

I had Mason s Automotive put some tires put on my summer vehicle. The guys at Mason s Automotive did a great job of installing them. I had ordered these tires off of a website online and I was having problems with other shops installing them. They had them done in a timely manner. They also made sure I knew of all charges that would be associated with the install and disposal of the tires.When I have some things needing done I will ask Mason s Automotive first if they can do the work.

Mason's Automotive was originally recommended to me by a friend because I was in need of an honest, good mechanic. They fit the bill perfectly! Perry is not the type of mechanic that is going to rip you off. Very trustworthy and reasonable pricing. Everytime I have taken my car in, he has it done quickly and the price is in the range of what he previously quoted. He explains everything of what he did and what needed repaired. Definitely the only mechanic I would take my car to in Fostoria! If you're in need of a good, trustworthy mechanic, take it here. You won't be disappointed.

Perry was very ho est and open about what was wrong with my car and always kept in contact with me . I would recommend him to my friends and my car is running great. I know as a women its hard to find a mechanic who wouldn't take adxantage of me. I will definitely go back.

So great!!! The owner rode in the car with me to hear the sounds I couldn't describe, then he fixed the brakes and checked over the rest of the car before sending me on my way in a safe vehicle (in about an hour). The Honda dealership I used to go to would have charged me way more and would have recommended unnecessary work. I now can say I have "a guy" when I need my car worked on in the future. So happy!!!

Mason's Automotive is a hidden gem in Fostoria. I was visiting from Cincinnati and was doing some work on my Jeep and snapped a bolt off in the engine block. Shopped around because I felt this type of repair would be very costly due to the risk to the engine. Stopped by Mason's Automotive and explained my issue to the mechanic. Not only did he understand my basic troubles and was able to give a very favorable and very competitive quote, which I agreed to, but also agreed to put everything back together for me for not much more than the quoted price of the fix. Mason's was able to get my car back up and running in far less time than expected. I definitely recommend Mason's Automotive to anyone looking for mechanics that will be straightforward and hardworking to earn your business. Perry and his shop did a wonderful job! This place right here is a LIFE SAVER. I called another local repairman here in fostoria explaining I had broken a spark plug off and needed someone who could get the broken portion of the spark plug off without causing alot of.damage and without charging an arm and a leg. I was quoted over 1000 dollars by this other business and then I called these guys. He told me it might take a few days and wouldn't cost more then 300$. He had it done within 24 hours and charged me 20% of what I was quoted by the other shop. These guys are super professional and I will always take my truck back there for my repairs. BEST IN TOWN. HANDS DOWN.

Let me start by saying how pleased I am with the service he did to my car. I called him and told him my timing belt with out. He asked my make and model and immediately after already knew what motor i had and the cost of labor. He beat out the price of 'backyard' mechanics ive called by nearly $100. He ordered the parts, i called him two weeks later and HE REMEMBER MY NAME! I can't tell you how impressed i was with that. He did all the work in a day. He even called me to ask permission before he replaced something i didnt previously discuss with him. Outstanding buisness ethic! My total price was less than a buddy of mine paid to have done 10 years ago. Im telling you if you are on the fence on where to take your car you need to give Mason's a call. Ive been robbed by other places and im so glad i found a shop i can trust. Ill be taking my second vehicle to him to get that fixed in a few weeks. Thanks for reading.

Called on a Friday for to schedule an oil change. A guy told me they were booked until next Wednesday and didn't even try to schedule me. Didn't even offer a time for next Wednesday or next available time. Went someplace else to business who wanted my business. Shame because I heard there are good technicians there.

Hi my name is Jen and I would like to say that I had a wonderful experience at Mason's!! I never take my car to the shop but this time I had no choice and I am glad this was my first experience because it was a great one. I took my car into Mason's really worried because of all the horror stories I have heard over the years but was relieved when I met Perry. He made me feel at ease and he looked over my entire car and checked everything. He then called me so my husband and I could see in person what all was wrong before he started any work at all. Turns out there was more wrong then we even thought but I am glad he found it. I have to put my kids in that car and drive it quite a distance for dr appointments. When i gave him the ok he did the work I asked him to do and he stayed in the budget I had. Then when I got my car back I was out on the highway and I got scared because the car had a shimmy so i pulled over and called Perry and he got in his car and came to me. He checked all the tires right there for me then assured me it would be ok to drive back to his shop which i did. He checked everything for me and it turned out to be a tire!!! So I just wanna say that if you need any type of vehicle work I would highly reccommend Mason's!!! They are one of the few that still care about the people and we are not all dollar signs!! I would bring my car back even if I moved just because of the quality service I recieved!!

Prior to visiting I was having issues with my air conditioner as well as a leak from an unknown location. Mason automotive was quick to find the issue with both problems as well as finding a solution within a reasonable budget! Will definitely be sending my friends and family that way!

Went in for my car to be looked at to determine what was wrong and he "fixed" the stuff without me asking him to and STOLE my battery. Also claims he did other things that were never done. Like an oil and oil filter change. Shady and a thief, most definetly do not recommend going to him!
