Needed my 2003 honda accord transmission rebuilt. Cost was very reasonable, no attempt to upcharge. Wendell explained what was needed, service completed in a timely manner. They do it all, not just transmissions. I'll refer family and friends

I purchased a vehicle and while still under warranty. Had transmission issues so I had my car towed from my home to car place and they sent my car to this business. While this place had my car for three weeks working on it, they left my car unlocked and when I got my car back my whole car had been gone through ( console, all compartments, trunk etc. ) They took alot of things and things that could not be replaced. I usually take important or valuable things out of my car before leaving it at repair shops but due to my car being towed while I was at work I did not get a chance. Local police department had the transmission place burn 3 weeks of footage from cameras and "conveniently" it had been recorded over. I also went to speak with the owner Tina who became extremely offensive in the case and did absolutely NOTHING.On top of that. I do believe the transmission was fixed but my car has a weird idle while in park that was not there prior and my car runs worse then before they worked on it. Absolutely will not recommend this place to anyone.RUDE, SCAM, AND THIEVES!Will for sure be contacting the BBB.Service: Transmission

Anytime I have an issue I take my vehicles to this place. They re very friendly and helpful, their prices are also reasonable and the best in town! Also, they re fast! They had the transmission replaced in my Jeep the next day after my part arrived. That was several months back and my Jeep is running great. They were also very patient and helpful in waiting for my replacement Acura transmission to arrive. Even though it caused an inconvenience for them, Tina was so understanding throughout the whole process. She also helped me come up with a solution to my problem which was such a relief! This is the best transmission shop in the area, hands down. Being family owned makes it even better because they re very helpful and down to earth when you speak with them. 5 stars, highly recommend!Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

I went and had my transmission checked out because it had sluggish take off and was shifting hard...the gentleman test drove it..as well as hooked it up the diagnostic tool....only to tell me transmission needed to be rebuilt for 2700$...I sd ok how long will it take....he sd 2wks. I go back 2wks later only to discover it hadn't been started on...so opted to take it back home...but something sd get a 2nd opinion...in doing so...it was discovered that it didn't need to be rebuilt...was just very low on transmission fluid and needed a transmission cooler...900$.....I am disappointed in transmissions n more that they almost cheated me and have used them years ago and they were great....NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Steve and the crew are very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Have taken quite a few different cars to him and the quality of work and turn around time have been spectacular. I ve heard horror stories of transmission shops having your car for extremely long periods of time but that isn t the case here. Would definitely recommend to anyone and this will be the only transmission shop I ever use.Service: Transmission

we have been using this repair shop for years. Transmissions and More offer quality work at a reasonable price. Very friendly staff. Deducted one star only because the truck came back dirty and the shifter boot wasn't attached. I'm sure they world have rectified these issues had I taken the truck back. Bottom line, the next time I need transmission work, I'll go back.

I got a quote from a dealer for $4000+ to put in a clutch for my 2010 sonata. Steve was able to put it in for 1700 and was fast, polite, and communication was great with his team! Highly recommended 10/10 and would definitely return for future work.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Look. I don't review anything lol, but I couldn't help but share this company. The absolute BEST mechanic out there & some of the most down to earth people. Our trans went out in our F250 & Steve was honest about the work and prices. He didn't charge anything more than what he quoted me for. The trans is even warranteed through his shop which makes everything 100% better. Anything else my truck has needed & in the future, it will always go to Steve. Whether it be a tire rotated, oil change, radiator.. ANYTHING- it'll always go to Transmissions & More. There is no other mechanic I would trust like I do this shop. I'll recommend them to anyone & everyone; 100% hands down. We have nothing but good things about this shop & the owner. Him & his wife are some of the greatest. Thanks for everything!

If you need somebody to work on your car who is honest and fair talk to Steve at Transmissions and More.They do a great job and are economical. They have done transmission work for me and many other types of work. Never had an issue and they are very honest and fair. I cannot say enough about this business.

I took my Dodge Durango here to have the transmission rebuilt, They did the work within the time quoted and had me back rolling within 3days, Steve(owner) is probably 1 of the nicest guys in the auto repair business. Quality work and about half the price than anyone within 50 miles of this shop.Highly recommend going here for any of your automotive needs!Other reviews written here are mostly people's faulty cars and not the workmanship of these fine mechanics.

I hate writing this because personally I liked Steve (owner of Transmissions and More), but I can't help but feel taken advantage of. In February my van was making an unusual noise, and I noticed a hole in a pipe that connected to the catalytic converter. I took the van in to have it fixed, along with an oil change and at that time he also noticed a small oil leak. That was all fixed however a day after taking it home I still heard the noise and took it back in, and he said there was crack in the a/c compressor. I paid to get that fixed and asked him to drive it around to make sure everything was properly fixed and the noise was gone. He stated it was and that he'd feel comfortable driving it to Dayton and back. A few days after that my son and I had to go to the store and in the parking lot the break line broke. The next day I paid to have it towed to his shop and asked for both lines to be replaced since the gas tank had to be removed to install the line. He only changed the line that broke. The noise I had been hearing was still there and on my way from the bank to his shop the van lost power however I managed to coast into a Walgreens, call a tow truck and have it towed to his shop. There it sat for close to two weeks, during this time I had to rent a car at $50.00 / day and then finally on a Friday he told me the rods in the motor were bent and it wouldn't be worth to cost to fix it. So after about $1500.00 I no longer had my van. The van was in his shop more than I had it between mid February and mid March. He felt bad and called one of his friends at (D&D Auto Sales) a used car dealership to try and get me a deal on a used car which he managed to do. It looked good, it sounded good, he test drove it and he thought it was good so I purchased the jeep liberty. After I got it home I had to make some small repairs. Although I did have to replace the battery and radiator fan which was about $250.00. Now after having it for less than 6 months the water pump went, the serpentine belt fell off and I have reason to believe I may have blown a head gasket. Anyways, his basic response, which came across as cavalier and uncaring, was he can't predict the future and what might happen to a car however I could bring it in Wednesday if I wanted although I wouldn't be able to bring it in I'd have to have a tow truck deliver it to him.. Very disappointing!

Took my f150 in for an issue. Had it in 2 other shops prior and couldn't solve the issue. Took it here, diagnosed it. Had it running perfectly in 2 days. Great service, extremely nice people. My truck is running great now.

Transmissions & More is hands down the best transmission shop in the tristate .They have worked on our entire fleet of vehiclesFor over 2 decades!They have fixed several of our friends and family members cars.IF YOU EVER NEED YOUR TRANSMISSION SERVICED OR REBUILT THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!IF WE COULD GIVE THEM 100 STARSWe WOULD!!

Took my 86 iroc camaro ther to get a 700r4 trans rebuilt sold the car to my old teacher and the trans went out on him so i bought it back and just got a new one online. So i took the trans fluid pan off off it to see if it was even rebuilt at all and im pretty sure all they did was go get a junkyard trans and put it in there was a half inch of sludge built up on the pan and there is no way in hell that it could build up that much over a year. So if you want to pay high dollar for a junkyard trans this is the place to go

I had a transmission replacement in my Buick Lacrosse. Steve did an awesome job and is extremely knowledgeable about his field. Plus the dogs are awesome.
