The team was honest and professional from the point that I dropped off my Civic. They diagnosed it and let me know that everything was fine with the transmission. What a great relief that there are great, honest businesses in our country. Thanks again Danco team.

My 2010 Subaru was over heating, so I took it to Danco. They repaired my engine and treated me with respect. (I'd rather pay for the repair then pay for a new car.) I feel I have many more years to get out of my Subaru now. Thanks Danco!

Ben is the Albert Einstein of automotive knowledge and expertise. Any car, any model, any year, he has deep familiarity with it. And add to that his passion for excellence. And did I mention fairness and honesty? I should. The DANCO shop he manages is highly recommended.

The service department went out of their way to make sure that I was informed of the services being performed on my truck every step of the way, and that is very important to me as a customer. I have already recommended them to family and friends for auto service. Great customer service

This shop offers after-hours drop off and pick up, which is so convenient. The technicians and managers communicate clearly and work very efficiently. Once the work on my car was done, the manager made sure to review all repairs and also checked up later to be sure I was still satisfied. Trustworthy work and reliable service.

I took my car in two weeks ago and they still hadn't gotten it diagnosed. It sat there for 2 weeks until we went and the keys from them to take it somewhere else! I will not take any cars there again nor will I recommend them to anyone!!! They said it was inside the shop being looked at when I went there with my husband it was in the parking lot...the same spot as it had been in for 2 weeks. I will never go there again! The complete worst customer service ever!!! If I could give a -10 rating I most certainly would!!!!

This is an updated and more thorough review:Response to owner 10202023:Joe,I sent you an email on Jul 30, 2023, 7:53 PM and haven't received a response. Your shop done more than the power transfer unit.I dropped my car off (@ 144148 miles) to be diagnosed (POC: Joe Stewart) on 02/28/23 for gurgling noise coming from transmission (faint diesel engine sound). The car drives fine, it was the sound that concerned me. Joe let me know what the sound could be and they would have to take transmission apart to determine what issue is. They also let me know that suspension needs attention and valve cover gaskets needs replaced. I knew of the other 2 issues and was planning to take car to different specialists but trusted Danco for those repairs as well. The final bill came up to $4,951.18. $663.90 was out of pocket while the rest was covered under warranty.03/28/23, Picked up car. Noticed radio automatically scanning stations repeatedly so I turned radio off. Air conditioner temperature increasing on its own. When temperature lowered, it raised back up. Turned off AC then it turned on automatically and continues to increase.03/29/23, almost got stranded due to negative battery terminal being loose. Borrowed wrench from nearby mechanic to tighten cable myself. That explained AC and radio malfunction.04/01/23, noticed pattern of dark fluid on driveway (photos taken) decided to park car on street in front of home. Transmission still gurgles. The suspension still loud. I also checked under hood and noticed oil splashes in the engine compartment as if coming from valve cover gasket. I have several cars and rarely drive this one, so I left it parked (@144307).04/20/23, I pulled car forward to trim lawn edges. Started car, pulled forward 20-30 feet, placed in park then began smelling gas. Got out the car to a huge spot of gas where I pulled away from and a gas trail leading from previous spot to new spot coming from engine compartment (photos taken).04/20/23, a Danco affiliate tow truck picked up car @144307 miles.05/12/23, I haven't heard from Danco, since 04/20. No email, phone call or text.05/16/23, stopped by Danco for update. Jason told me that it was a bad transfer case and they had to order another one (convo recorded). The new one should be there later the same week.If there was a different transfer case installed, why is the gurgling sound the same as before? Is sound coming from transfer case or transmission?06/08/23, Haven t heard from Danco, no phone call, no email.06/12/23, called for an update. Spoke with Jason. He said the wrong transfer case was sent and they're waiting for new one to arrive.07/05/23, stopped by Danco to get an update. Jason said car is complete then proceeded to check out. Before starting car, I began recording my inspection. I found plastic engine cover and wire harness improperly placed. Found additional damage done to left bank valve cover variable camshaft timing solenoid seal. Driver side power seat control cover broken. I addressed findings with Jason. He repositioned wire harness to proper location and secured engine cover. Jason said torn VCT solenoid rubber seal isn t a big issue and wouldn t harm engine (not true). Jason also said he'll order the driver seat control cover. Vehicle @ 144358 miles (51 miles added while at Danco).07/05/23, I drove the vehicle from Danco directly to the Ford service department for a fresh diagnostic (@144364).07/14/23, Ford findings (1) transfer case not new, looks to be used or original cleaned then reinstalled (photos taken), (2) VCT solenoid seal torn during replacement of valve cover gasket (photos taken), (3) the AC malfunction continue.10/20/23,Almost $2,000 out-of-pocket to finally get car back to same condition as before Danco. AC module replaced, VCT solenoid replaced and still hear gurgling sound that I initially brought it in for.Taking car there was more costly than beneficial. Communication was bad on Danco's end, I have the records, photos and videos to prove it. I've initiated over 90% of all communication for months!Services: Transmission, Engine repair

Incredible Integrity. My Cadillac Escalade was rough shifting once a day, so I called them to get the transmission replaced. Instead of selling me a transmission, they sent me a GM service bulletin that exactly described the problem and where GM also admitted that 1 rough shift a day in the morning was, unfortunately, normal, and that my transmission was fine.Cost to me - zeroPeace of mind - pricelessVery impressed witht them!

Gotta be honest. It's was a little pricey. Had an oil cooler, starter, and alternator replaced for about 2300 bucks. Considering I am not a mechanic, I didn't have much of a choice. My 5 star rating comes from how we were treated after the fact.My wife went to pick up the car after hours and it wouldn't start. The next morning we called and I happened to get the owner. He was very apologetic. He had the mechanic look over the car again and found the battery to be bad.He replaced it at no charge and got us on our way. Will definitely come here again! Thank you!

I sent a relative there to get their transmission repaired. They told them that the transmission was no good and was completely burnt out and they checked the fluids and put new fluids in it and the transmission still did not shift. So we picked the vehicle back up. Bought the vehicle back home. So I went to check out the vehicle. Because it did not make sense for my relative to add Transmission fluid to the vehicle and the vehicle drive. Just fine so got the vehicle back home on the paperwork. We was stated that it needed transmission transmission cooler replacement and a transmission replacement. Which roughly was a little bit over $3000 For danco to repair Long story short did a ditest and found out that it was leaking from the Transmission cooler line had them replace, did the transmission flush New filterAnd the truck was perfectly fix for under 375 dollars We'll be making a complaint against a Better Business Bureau. For not being truthful on car repair. This is not the first time that this has happen. So if anyone reading this message please pay attention to their repairs and make sure you get a second opinion. Never trust danco opinion

Happy with the service the only challenge was just the price when I called to book the appointment we negotiated a diff price but when I came there it was not the same so I had to pay higher as compared to how much we negotiated on phoneI was a little frustrated at that but the service is good

I've gone here on 2 occasions. One to have brake lines repaired, and the other for A/C. With my car being so close to 100K they decided to give it a thorough look through which I fully appreciated. Turns out my transmission was on the way as well. Made the whole process super easy and kudos to Joe for explaining everything all the way through.

Above and beyond wonderful. After getting off a shift to a dead vehicle and an unhelpful experience with a nearby business, I called in a panic near the end of a weekday. Not only did the Danco team take my vehicle in the same day to look it over, the next afternoon they had everything road ready. They even followed up with the other business to make sure everything was exactly how it should be. Forever grateful, and delighted to have a local and independent mechanic I know I can trust! Will definitely be back for all my auto woes! Thanks again guys.

I recently got work done here and I have multiple complaints. I initially went in to get the catalytic converter repaired and the spark plugs and ignition coils replaced. I only went here because the owner of the business said it would be looked at in 1 day and would take 1 day to fix, two days in total. After I dropped off the car they continued to push the date back while saying everyday that they would look at it until it was 6 days later. If I would have known that it would take that long I would have brought it somewhere else. Another issue is that when diagnostics were done on the car they told me that the upper and lower ball joints were loose and said that it would be fine to drive for a while and that they did not recommend to get it fixed. It has now only been a few weeks since I picked up the car and the entire tire came off the car while I was driving and this caused lots of other repairs to be needed for the car to be drivable again. I would have really appreciated if they would have told me the repair of the ball joints was urgent since I would have done the repair immediately, rather than giving me false advice that put me in a very dangerous situation. I will not be coming back here for any work and I do not recommend them to anyone.Service: Exhaust

Fair and honest work. Pleasure working with this company. Only improvement I would recommend would be a status update throughout the process. Not and everyday call but something like parts have been ordered, parts arrived, installation start then obviously work complete. Would be a good automated process, maybe a text. Overall, extremely happy with the work!!Service: Transmission

very professional and thorough! I needed a vehicle inspection done and they got me in same day without any problems. I forgot to call them back before I showed up and they were even understanding of that. They looked through everything with a fine comb and showed me exactly what was going on with it. It helped me negotiate price on a used car, which you can't really do nowadays. They were also honest about what needed immediate attention and what could wait. I can't say enough good about these guys and their service.
