Very pleased with this service. Got the job done on short notice and with unexpected change of plans on my part they still made it work and drove to me to get the job done. Also the maintenance technician was very knowledgeable of every situation and knew how to get it done quick and efficiently.

My story is short,-paid 400$ up front to fix broken studs-Andy removed all parts said he has to match the parts on store,-went to store and quoted me additionally for $2300 parts and labor- texted him that s too much please bring my parts back.- answer: no, you have to pay me this invoice and you not getting your parts back.Had to buy all new parts and send a different mechanic, eventually all around costed me $850, if i had all parts he has stolen from me, i would pay around 40$ for studs and whatever labor would cost.He is trapping drivers, be aware.Services: Tires, Brakes

Please refrain from calling this company if you wish to avoid dealing with exorbitant and unfair pricing. As someone who has been in the trucking business for over a decade, it's disheartening to see businesses that exploit drivers in dire financial situations to boost their own profits."

Andy & his team is very professional & dedicated team. He finds the root of the problem & then fix it. He has very good connections to get parts as compared to some other mechanics. I will recommend him to friends & family.

The owner of this company was amazing! He helped us out when no one else would. We own a business in Columbus but currently working in Franklin, Ohio. Our bucket truck popped a tire on the way there leaving my crew stranded on the highway. Andy stopped everything he was doing to come help us out. The trucks tire was a HUGE struggle & he never once complained. He always had a solution. I would HIGHLY recommend this company. Thank you for all of your help!Service: Tires

I usually don't write reviews especially when it's not a positive one. After being robbed by Andy I felt compelled to write a review. I was referred to Andy by Justin who works at Love's at Exit 59 in Springfield, OH.My truck had an issue with starter which never happened before. After being road-assisted by Love's technician I returned there to get my starter rewired as the technician who road-assisted me suggested. He wasn't there, but I found Justin who quickly referred me to BIG Rig Brake Shop! He gave me Andy's numbers.When I called Andy he was quick to tell me he would charge me $200.00 for roadside call even though I was going to drive to his shop. He then told me that he would charge me $120.00 per hour for the services and it would probably take two hours! I thought he was money hungry and unreasonable, but I agree since I didn't know the magnitude of the issue I was dealing with!When I got to his shop he checked the starter and told me that he was going to charge me $450.00 that would include parts and service. He made a phone call and pretend that he was going to purchase parts and he returned with nothing.When he returned, he used his pick up truck to block my truck so that I would have no way out, he screwed back wires to my starter in less than 10 minutes and then he asked me to start the truck, which by the way I shut down and restarted it before he touched it. I quickly realized how he ripped me off !I asked him to be reasonable because the total amount of time he was in contact with my truck was probably 20 minutes and an hour he left. I don t know if he went to assist someone else, but when he returned he lied to me that he was at spare shop to buy parts for the starter of my truck. When I asked him to show me the receipt, he started cursing me, threatening me and he took away the key of my truck!I realized that I was robbed and I was at his property, he was angry ,and cursing me out! I decided to pay him whatever amount he charged so that I would leave his place alive! He told me that he only accepted cash and t-check. He took me to two small banks in Ennon and I was able to get cash to give him. When we arrived at his shop again he used his pick up truck to block my truck even though he was still having my keys, I haven't gave him cash because he hasn't yet given me a receipt! This guy was unprofessional, rude, angry and he literally robbed me cash!

With the world how it is, it s hard not to be cynical. I had gotten a flat, and after two other companies saying it was too close to five o clock , Big Rig and Andy were able to get me home to my kids. To top it off he called me to follow up and make sure I got home safe. It may be hard to trust people anymore, but they have mine. Honor.Service: Tires

I was experiencing some electrical issues and lost all electrical power. I called and spoke to Andy from big rig brake shop. He responded real quick, and got to me super fast. Got me back on the road within no time! His pricing was very fair and he thoroughly explain and showed me what was the cause of the problem. And he also did a follow up call the next day to check on the truck. I will definitely recommend this shop! Very professional! Thank you Andy!Service: Electrical

I was on side of the road in my eighteenwheeler, transmission went out. They came and towed my truck and trailer,I was loaded 40,000 pounds of food! Load was in need to get to reciever! They worked very fast and accurately! They found the problem a line on transmission melted causing line to stop transmission from working! They fixed the truck took me to the hotel and came back to pick me up to take me to shop to get my truck after they fixed it. I give them top rating on customer service and very professional! And the skill to fix my Volvo 860 year 2000. Great job and thank you very much! And the price was very competitive thanks again! The guys here are not only awesome mechanics but awesome people. I bought a box for a box truck about a month ago and andy gave me his word whenever I was ready he'd make availability to put it on for me. I drove up from Mentor,Oh He kept his word and even took me to and from my hotel! He was done in the time period he said he would be done and when I told him about my terrible hotel experience he even offered me a couple dollars off for the inconvenience even when it wasn't his fault! What a wonderful professional gentleman with great positive energy and attitude. It was a pleasure doing business with him and I reccommend EVERYONE who is in need of his services do business with this shop! If your looking for expedited, professional attention and service for roadside assistance or in shop repairs, this is the company for you! I had multiple issues with my roadside break down, all were professionally handled and they had me back on the road in no time for a very reasonable cost that didn t break the bank! If I m ever in need of repairs in their area again I have their number saved and will be my first call! We had a brake failure on our 5th wheel RV. The rig had damage to 2 tires, a wheel and more. Andy came to our location and made all repairs. The repairs were done over a period of a few weeks, due to warranty company requiring an in person inspection. Andy met twice with warranty inspector and also spoke on the phone with our RV service shop to resolve multiple issues with prior work. Andy was great to work with, always on time and always followed through with what he said he would do. We are now planning to use Big Rig Brake Shop for routine maintenance, we are confident in their quality workmanship.

I called when I needed immediate service that I could not find at the dealership. Although they provide road service, I was able to drive to them. I got a great education about the DEF system, and I was back on the road again within several hours.I never got this attention from the dealer, or the education, or the fast service - and the price was very reasonable! I won't be going back to the dealership!

Our trailer was put out of service by DOT for trailer brakes called Big Rig they offer to go out there and help us out. Once the mechanic showed up with full attitude and rudeness. Not only that it was the worst roadside service our company has ever experience but on top of everything he charged us $487 for a 30 minute service and also wanted to charge us $2,000 to change the brakes on the trailer. We just don't understand how some companies can be so ignorant. Just because they clearly understand your situation and know how you have no other choice but to call roadside service they feel like they can charge you anything they feel like. This has been the worst and the dumbest 30 minute work that we had to pay $400 for. We will never use them ever again and wouldn't recommend anyone else using them .

I don't understand the bad reviews. Andy put a radiator in my truck in 4 hours. $200 service call is pretty standard. $100/hr labor is well below the usual $150 charged by shops. I've had my previous truck in the shop many times. This guy outperformed a shop, and charged less. He's got my business anytime I'm in the area.

I needed a battery for my diesel van, and I had something keep draining my battery. Not only did Andy and Mike replace my battery but they also found a secondary battery underneath my van that was the cause of my problem, they replaced that one too. They went an extra step and Andy secured and welded my shelf I had bungeed down. These 2 men do excellent work and their rates are very reasonable. I will recommend them to anyone that has or needs any work done. Thanks guys you 2 are the best!!!!Thanks,Matt

We called for road service and asked for tire pricing, the gentleman was rude and said forget it, hes not going to negotiate. I was very polite and asked if he can do any better on a $500 cooper drive.

I give this rating for service call not repair work because no repair was done on my vehicle. I called Big Rig and spoke with Andy about my situation and they came out about 2.5 hrs. after the call. It took him about 20 mins. to find the problem may be the differential axle, which would then be covered by warranty. He left to get his tow truck, which took another 2 hrs. before he returned, now Big Rig's location is 12.5 miles from where I broke down. He towed me 2.3 miles to the Rush Truck Center then charged me a total of $1072.50 for his services. Service call was $200, Labor hrs. $300, towing $500 and tax $72.50. The repair work done at Rush cost me a total of $259.16. The problem was with the air bag over inflating, which they replaced something to do with that. The tow price was fair, but the other $500 was what this shop does to Drivers not from the Ohio area, I say this instead of saying to minorities, althou the worst reviews seem to come from us. So like me use them at your own risk.

I called Loves and TA mechanics, they told me I need to call towing.This shop sent a guy to the truck stop and he fixed the electrical problem right away.Good, honest peopleThanx a lot man i almost had heart attack when i spoke with loves truck repair they dont know nothing. I have changed Clutch for 7620$, which is too expensive by double charging for relearning. I have read reviews and stopped there, but I wasn t happy with a price they put me at the end. Even no discount offered even I asked. Mike and Andy have no clue to flip flywheel when I asked them to do so. So my suggestion negotiate before starting dealsService: Transmission

I called big rig brake shop and explained my problem . Andy the owner ran through a couple of possibilities told me what would be needed grabbed the parts and got right on it. Very professional and knows what they are doing. Didn t just start changing out parts he first went through checking everything and had me up and running in no time .

The guys here at Big Rig were very hospitable and kind. I am not from the area and had been broken down for a while. They offered suggestions for lodging and food while my tractor was being worked on. In addition to that, the work was done quickly and sufficiently. Definitely recommended.

Our RV broke down on the interstate outside of Cincinnati. We called 7 repair shops & no one would help us. Andy came from over a hour away to help.He came on a holiday weekend, had to drive back to Cincinnati for parts & work on side of interstate.We couldn't have asked for a nicer mechanic. We hated being broke down but enjoyed meeting Andy.We will be driving from Indy to Dayton for Andy to service our RV. Thank you for everything!

Not worth the star I know from reviews now wish I never use Big Rig first off (andy ) came off to me cocky! When I called to ask what's the price or how soon could he come out he said ..$200 ??? for road call that he shop was less than 20 mins away but after that did mention that he doesn't take checks or credit cards!!... But he arrives 2 hr after I called at 7:47pm and ask me to sign paperwork before he performs any work then he pulls out his meter to check the starter check the batteries maybe took 25 minutes total then he decides just to pull start me get the truck running after he jumps the truck off gets it running but anyone could do that but yet he was bashing on guy that supposedly didn't change the starter which I know he did and told me only does t check or Comdata checks ... ( Yea he had to take me to ATM 5 mins up the street but not my fault that Next time u might wanna tell ur customer's b4 u come out to be well prepared!!!!! total bill was $536.00 .. 200 service call 200 for labor 100 for pull start 36.25 taxes note that he arrive at 7:47pm and gone be4 9 pm and had to call for days to get a receipt to me!! (beware of this place Price's are high!!!)

I m so sorry , I m bad with names . I called over 20 different tow truck companies. I was tired and frustrated I needed to get my gooseneck trailer towed separate from my truck . I called Big Rig and told him what I was dealing with . He said no problem I got you . He towed my trailer and then took the time to bring me to the dealership to check on my truck . First off they came to my location and were very timely. Both workers were personable and explained what was wrong how they were going to proceed to fix it. My down time was minimal. I wouldnt hesitate to call this company again.

Very friendly, knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it right away. highly recommend. I was at wits end, brakes locked up on my bus and no one would come to help. straight ripoff, Called for road service, mechanic guy was late, and lied about the time he arrived at my driver side. The guy said he has connection with police in the area, and I can not do nothing. Do not call them for road service. really bad people
