Dave Heindl recently passed away. It appears that the shop and online store is temporarily down. The family is taking some time to process things. I'm not affiliated with them in any way. I just noticed some people leaving bad reviews, due to them not responding quickly. The individuals leaving bad reviews are probably not away of the situation. We're all human and a bit of understanding goes a long way.

I'm located in northwestern Alberta, Canada, about 450 miles north of Canada's northernmost Ural dealer in Calgary. I had a repair and a modification to undertake, both of which were on the edge of my comfort level. Jon at Heindl Engineering was great to deal with. He supplied the parts I needed and answered questions that arose along the way. The bike is back up and running better than ever. I would recommend Heindl to anyone without the slightest hesitation. Thank you Jon.

I saw a used bike advertised for sale and attempted three times in one day to reach a real person. During that first day, I was at least able to leave a voicemail which noone responded to. I also sent an email without a response. The following day, during posted business hours, I attempted to call again and there was not even an option to leave another voicemail. I called and left a message with the VP/Sales Manager this morning so we'll see if I hear anything back from Dave. I was prepared to put down a deposit over the phone but will go a different route if I don't hear back soon. I don't believe my expectation for a response to a question throughout a work day is unreasonable with today's technology.

I made a mistake and ordered tires from Cycle Gear. I placed the order May 31 and still had not received them a month later. I canceled the order and called Heindl. Not only were they cheaper, but ordered in the afternoon and receive them the next morning. If you were looking for K 37s for your Ural, don t look anywhere else. Outstanding price, service and shipping. Great people to deal with!

We wanted to wait a few weeks after taking delivery of a 2023 Ural GearUp from Heindl Engineering to allow for the "New Motorcycle" euphoria of our first sidecar machine to elapse before submitting a review. We did not receive nor expect any discounts or incentives for submitting this review. We are from Pennsylvania and Heindl is 250+ miles one way from us. There are two nearby in-state Ural Dealers within 100 miles(ish) of us. I retired in 2012 and my wife and I have been eyeballing a Ural since 1997 while watching two local Ural Dealers come and go. The stability of David and Jon Heindl's years of in-depth commitment to only the Ural Brand and their willingness to take the no pressure time to let you walk around the showroom (and on the phone) to "kick some tires" thru sharing their years of their experience(s) with extensive "how to and fyi" YouTube videos made purchasing from them a no-brainer.

It is not often I write a review but this is worth taking the time. The team at Heindl is incredibly top notch and takes customer service to a new level. Always there for you, they simply go above and beyond. Not to mention they are one of the best when it comes to the Ural product. Do not hesitate to give these guys a call.

A tremendous family business who I love to work with. Their knowledge in the products is supreme! I bought a Ural motorcycle from them last fall and since then I have dealt with them on numerous occasions. They never fall short. Whether it be questions when maintaining or accessorizing your bike, in which they are open to you stopping by or even emailing pictures, or just tracking down an order; Heindl Engineering LLC handles the situation with haste and shows genuine care for their customers and never takes any situation lightly.

No way to express how great this dealership is. It would be impossible to find more honest, knowledgeable and likeable people than Jon and Dave. One of their endearing traits is their willingness to share with their customers. What may seem like a serious or mysterious problem can very likely be solved with an email or phone call. I'm speaking from experience and I'm not intimidated at all by living 400 miles from their shop. Trust them, buy from them and keep this rare and wonderful dealer/customer relationship going! I purchased my 2013 Ural Gaucho Rambler from these great folks. You couldn't ask for better service. And the best prices around. They take trade ins, they do the financing and they even do custom orders as well. Their service and warranty work are second to none. They also do service work on other brands of motorcycles, scooters and ATVs.But always remember if you want them to hold a Ural for you to look at. Be sure and put a deposit on it. Because they are one of the top Ural sellers in the nation. You're inability to make that commitment is on you. You snooze, you lose!

This place does seem to have great products and great bikes. I would be willing to have service on my bike done here.Word of caution I drove 90 minutes and was informed that until you buy the bike you cannot test drive them.

Recently purchased a motorcycle from this dealership. It was used, and had some mechanical issues. Sometimes that happens with used machines. I worked with the owner and let me just say they made it right. They cared about me as a customer and took care of the situation. I would recommend this place because of the great customer service.

If you want a sidecar added to your motorcycle, or are interested in purchasing a Russian made URAL then these are your guys. I would almost venture to call them artists and experts than salesmen or mexhanics. I'm pretty sure that you could hold your phone up to your motorcycle and allow them to hear it and they would be able to diagnose the issue in many cases, especially with the URAL. They also happen to be the only dealer and factory authorized mechanic for IRAL in the state of Ohio. Its just a shame that they're so far from Cincinnati and theres no quick way to get there, especially when you need warranty work done and your bike isn't ridable.
