It was a breathe of fresh air to finally find a place that could do quality carb work, especially on my 69 Porsche. Now I won t trust any other place to tune and do carb work. I would recommend 100%.Service: Carburetor cleaningService: Carburetor cleaning

We had overhaul one of the carbs on our Chrysler Marine 440 twin and it worked so well that we have to have the other one done. It will be on the way to them soon. Definitely recommend.

Stay away from this shop! I took my carburetor to Craig Woodruff because I had a hard starting issue and poor fuel economy. When I called him to ask him a question he became very irate and hollered/ used profanity. He said to quit worrying and I'd be happy with it, well, guess what..I'm not happy with it! Not only did he not fix my starting problem, my fuel economy was even worse! I too it back and he reinstalled my metering rods. I put it back on my car and it runs horrible...He charged me $50 over what he quoted me, but I had no choice to pay it or else I wouldn't get the carburetor back. I filed a report with the BBB and I want my money back. I either have to get a new carburetor or I need to take mine somewhere else. My spark plugs were fouled because of this guy and God only knows if my catalytic converter is compromised. Bottom line, think twice about going to Woodruff.Rebuttal to Katie Morgan's response to my review: Clearly, this person, Katie Morgan, is affiliated with the business in some way. At any rate, if cyber-bullying is their way of getting even with me when they were the ones who screwed up, it's not working. The only reason I retracted my claim with the BBB is because I no longer wanted the business to touch my car/carburetor after it was damaged already, plus, I did not appreciate the smart-aleck message he left on my phone as a response to the complaint. I think I did all of us a big favor. I ended up taking the carburetor to someone else who had to fix the damage Craig did and it still did not run right. My engine and catalytic converter were compromised in the process and I had no choice but to sell the car at a loss, thanks to him. I could have very well taken them to small claims court, but I no longer wanted contact with them. Furthermore, this all transpired in July - October 2016. The fact that this person is still stewing over it a year later only confirms my belief that there is something that is not right with this business. I have since moved on and I suggest they do also. Thank you.

Great place to do business.Dave is on the top of his game.When he restores and rebuilds a carburetor it is set up for today's pump gas.I live in Florida and Dave asked all the right questions.He even set up my carburetor for the altitude it will be running in.My 67SS Chevelle 396 hasn't run this well since the early 70s.I'm a customer for life.

This will be the second carburetor (Holley 4160) that Craig Woodruff has repaired for me. (the last one was 20+ years ago.). Excellent, knowledgeable service (he actually answers the phone and returns all calls!). I wish I had sent the carburetor in earlier, and saved myself some aggravation. But, as Craig said years ago 90% of all carburetor problems are in the ignition system , so I chased all of those down first, but it was, in fact, the carburetor. I got the carb promptly back from his repair, he made a suggestion for a change in timing, and returned all of my old parts. I bolted the carb on, warmed her up and advanced the timing; now that 67 Vette runs better than it has in years! I m ecstatic. Nicely done and highly recommended. steve meltzer
