In December of 2020, I paid Hunt's Auto Care over $500 replace the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter on my 2014 Chevy Equinox. After only 6 months, the catalytic converter went bad. I called the company knowing full well that the majority of catalytic converters have a 5 year warranty. The first time I called, I gave them my information and they said they would pull my invoice and get back to me. After a week, I called them again, and he had lost my information and needed it again. After two weeks, I called them again and was told they were still waiting on word back from the warranty department, which was a lie. After a month, I called them and they still did not have an answer, so I told them I wanted a partial refund. I no longer wanted to be lied to and walked all over like they were doing. The owner's wife called me back and absolutely refused to give me a partial refund after her husband agreed to come up with a figure to refund me. They wanted to replace the part at no charge, with no recourse on them for running their business the way that they do. I was made aware by Donny himself that he bought my parts at Auto Zone, so I know he was lying when he told me he was pretty sure it only had a 90 day warranty, and that this whole time they were waiting to hear back from the warranty department, because that's not how Auto Zone works. They do not want to take responsibility for their lack of professionalism, inexperience in customer service. I will not be going back to Hunt's Auto Care again.
