Had an appointment scheduled at 5 PM to get new tires mounted, the process didn't even get started until 6:30. It's currently 7:25 and I'm still waiting for them to finish my tires. If you can't keep appointment times then don't take appointments in the first place.

Absolutely atrocious experience! First off, I ordered tires and they gave me the measurements, but no instructions for ordering them online. I then ordered what I thought was the right size, only for me to be informed they weren t once I arrived at my appointment. The man that told me asked the bay manager if that would be a problem to install them, to which his boss said, Technically, but put them on anyway. They then proceeded with installing the tires. I jokingly asked if I would die in a crash, only for the man to literally respond with, I think they ll have you sign a waiver. After shopping for a little, my gut got the better of me and I went back and asked the guy installing them to be honest any tell me if they should be installed. He admitted, They re a little small. I said I wasn t comfortable with them being installed and wanted to cancel. He gave me a barcode and said I needed to go Customer Service for a refund. I went there, Customer Service told me they couldn t do it there. I went back to the Auto Center. They told me they couldn t refund me and that I needed to go to Customer Service again. So at this point, I m beyond angry and frustrated being run in circles. The man at the desk goes into the back to ask once again if I need to go to Customer Service. Another man comes up and asks if I need helped. I simply tell him I need some tires returned. The bay manager and the other guy come back in, saying I m returning tires. The other man snaps, Oh ok, she didn t tell me she d already been helped! He then storms off to the back. At this point, I m in tears. The other man proceeds to, once again, take me back to Customer Service. I m wiping my tears the entire way, completely embarrassed and frustrated. I FINALLY get my refund at Customer Service. Now I m stuck waiting for them to put my old tires back on. This whole ordeal was ridiculous, pathetic, and despicable! Everyone was disgustingly rude and unprofessional! Stay FAR away from this place! Especially if you re a woman! I was being treated like I was stupid the entire time, and was nearly taken advantage of! Absolutely horrid behavior! Even children act better, and know better! NEVER AGAIN!Service: Tires

Ok, they are very understaffed in the tire center. No excuse, that's on management. But, the service is good! JJ is 5 's. He really cares about customers and his work. It is a shame he is being asked to do too much-the work of probably 3 people. So, if you go, the wait will most likely be long, plan accordingly, but the service was great. I brought in my own new tires and had them installed. Should have taken 1.5 hrs, took 3. Again, not the employees fault, but it is the reason for 4 starts instead of 5.

Do not take your vehicle here for any reason! Had the pleasure of being lied to about being the first customer in for a complete tire change and was the last person to be helped! When I asked what was the hold up,the tech promptly got angry started throwing my brand new tires around as well as kicking the lug nuts which were on the floor! Completely unacceptable!!!

I went in last minute to get a tire repaired after realizing a screw in the tread (leaking air). Gave them a quick call and they indicated they could do the work right away assuming it was repairable. Keep in mind its Easter Sunday, so there was literally nobody else there. Everyone was great, even the new guy! Work was performed as expected and I would return. Four stars is more than adequate. I rarely give five stars...

I had a nail in my tire. We took the tire over and they fixed it right away! A man came and met us immediately and helped! It was only $16 with tax. Very helpful! Would 100% recommend them!

Google says they close at 7:00 on Sundays. The sign outside the door says 5:00. I tried pulling on the door at 3:45 and they appear to be closed. No sign displayed, just locked up and the lights off.

Go to Valvoline or Jiffy Lube for an oil change, they are way quicker and have better customer service. The customer service here is horrible!

Don't set an appointment for first thing in the morning. Workers apparently don't know the meaning of "open" or 7 am.

They took us straight back all 4 truck tires replaced but they all were not properly inflated. For 1000 you would think they would check the tire pressure

Just called to make an appointment (as suggested). I'm not making any judgments, but the person that answered certainly sounded as though he'd rather be somewhere else. He just said "Hello". He didn't identify this as Walmart Auto Center or even state his name. He said no appointments - walk in. I asked how busy they were and he started to say half hour wait and changed it to 2 hours. If they can't be bothered to act like professionals that provide a service - I'll take my business elsewhere.Service: Auto maintenance

*6/4/2023 I was told Walmart doesn't work on VWs*A terrible experience. Fourth of July. I understand it was a holiday and maybe employees didn't want to be there. Customer service was awful.I came in for a set of tires and an oil change at 1:50pm and was still waiting at 5pm. Finally received car at 5:10pm. Ridiculous.I was asked more than once what was I waiting for and which car was mine. Employees would disappear and management would say they must've "ran off"

Went to have new tires installed, posted hours were 7-7 on Fridays but the entire service area was closed I waited 15 minutes for a rep but no one ever came and no additional signage indicating why the service center was closed. Now I have bald tires and have to spend hundreds of dollars more to get them replaced. 10/10 would not recommend.

The auto center needs to start taking appointments for service besides getting new tires. Sitting for 3+ hours for an oil change is ridiculous. I haven t had any problems once my vehicle is serviced however, more mechanics with quicker work ethics wouldn t hurt either, especially on weekends when most customers have the opportunity to get their car serviced. Attitudes are poor, and employees interrupt while you re talking. Adjustments need to be made.

Came in at 8am exactly for 4 tires. There was one man ahead of me waiting on service, one behind me. After waiting half an hour to speak to someone, the person I spoke to was slow and confused, had no idea what he was doing. Found out it was his first week, yet he was alone taking people's info. Was told it would be 2 hours, which seemed excessive to me. 2 hrs and 15 min later I went to check if they just forgot to call for me, found out they had not even started on my car, and he had written it up as a six wheel truck. Incompetent. Was told they would get to it soon, and that it would take about an hour once they started. I left 4 1/2 hours after I came in with only two tires replaced and no discount or compensation from the desk. Worst service ever, inefficient and incompetent, there are not words for my frustration and anger. There's no excuse for this embarrassing service. Will never go back.

Terrible service. Went in to get tires rotated, they said it'd be about a half hour, I waited the half hour, asked about the service and the lady at the desk said it's still in service, but couldn't give a time. Waited another half hour and went back, she said it was still being serviced. After an hour total I was bothered as I have other things to do than wait at Walmart to get tires rotated. After going up the last time she said it was still being serviced. I told her I couldn't wait any longer, and I wanted to cancel. She said I'd have to go into the shop and talk to them so I did. In the shop they said they couldn't do it because the tread was supposedly too low. All this after an hour of waiting and I hadn't been told. Will NOT be coming back here to get tires done, and I recommend ANY other tire/automotive shop to get work done.

Came in at 11:00 for a simple tire change. They told us it would be about an hour. Over two hours later, I'm still sitting here listening to the staff goofing off in the garage. The manager is giving us the repair for free but that doesn't make up for the wasted time. Don't bother wasting your time here!

Online says open from 7am-7pm. Made an online appointment a week ahead for 9am. Showed up at 850am and the auto care center was closed. Was told by an associate they won t open until 10am. The place is heavily understaffed and the hours are wrong.Service: TiresService: Tires

Tried to checkout a car battery at their service desk and their associate was beyond rude. It was obvious that he wouldn t give me the time of day if I asked. I asked if I could check out two other car related items and he sent me away like a peasant. Their customer service is unbelievably bad.

Walked in to get an oil change, I said hi to the worker and he said not yet. So I took it as if he was making a comment of him not yet high. Which to each is own, if u smoke more than happy for you but when you are working on people's cars, it might not be best to smoke, wait til after work. Then he proceeded to tell me he had 9 cars ahead of me so he wouldn't be able to get me in, yet as I was walking out a gentlemen just walked in and talked to the guys in the shop and he told him he was getting an oil change. So why can a guy that walks in after me, get an oil change and I cant????

Yes, I am giving them five stars this time because I came there to get my existing 3 year old Walmart battery replaced with a new one. Advance Auto tested it in 5 min and said it was bad. To have it pro-rated for the 5 year battery warranty, they have to test it to see if it is bad. I worked with Joslyn who helped me get checked in and have a Tech check it. There was some initial hesitation and there were a few other cars getting work done, but I asked "nice" and she got on it. It was bad and for $65.35 ($93.97 new) they installed the battery for me and it all was done less than an hour. We got tires from this location and my wife said it took them hours to get it done, so wait times vary as they say. I just wanted to give credit where it is due.

Can't believe this fabulous place has a 1.5! Let me add 5 stars to your reviews! Not only did they get me in at a moments notice (my battery) but both Juan (2 Juans lol)and Gary were very helpful with my questions. The lady who took care of me even took time to show me which way to the ladies room! Great crew. Don't listen to the haters. Keep up the good work.

Wow! I should have read the reviews. Sloooooow! My whole Saturday is shot. Waited 5 hours for a simple tire change. When I worked in the Walmart tire shop, we had one hour to get the job done. This is pathetic!

We all Grimace when we find out the "AUTO" needs repairs.... and worse if like me and have ZERO car knowledge... My tire or tires seemed to constantly need inflated... I went to 4 traditional big name TIRE DEALERS and was told ...all 4 needed replaced to two needed replaced and prices running from 400 to nearly 700 dollars... fortunately I took it to WALMART AUTO CENTER as a last check and ...thank the GODS.... I found HONESTY & INTEGRITY....they placed car on lift...and said..."your tires are in excellent shape no need to replace them and the only issue is a NAIL in one a SCREW was in the other .. $28 dollars and even checked oil and refurbished front fogged head lamps... BEAT PAYING for 2 to 4 NEW TIRES and being ABUSED by...the BIG NAME including "alleged" TIRE DISCOUNT type stores. If you want HONESTY... and know you can stop being an AUTO REPAIR VICTIM.... GO TO WALMART AUTO CENTER on Wilmington Pike!

Slow and they STEAL.The service here is always very slow. Doesn't matter if it's the check in process, servicing, or checking out. They move without any urgency or care. The last two times I came I noticed change missing from my car afterwards. I always have a quarter in the door handle cup of my car for the cart at Aldi's. I noticed it was gone last time right after getting my oil changed as I went straight to Aldi's. But I couldn't be 100% sure it was there before.Just today I went, purposely put my quarter on the top of the other change and covered it all up with a receipt. Sure enough, an hour later I get out to my car to leave and the quarter is gone. Sure it's only a quarter, but who knows what else they could be taking from anyone else who comes.

Very bad experience at this location. The team is very disrespectful. Of course I have been there multiple times and they are Veryyyyyy slow. But this time I had a different experience as I came in and stood there for more than 10 minutes and no one bothered to get me registered even though the girl who register the customers walked by me multiple times. Finally I came to her desk and asked if she can get me registered she looked me at the eye turn around and left me alone.
