Ryan and team were amazing despite challenges getting a few final parts from Honda. Once the car was finished, he knew that I was laid up following a surgery so he drove my repaired car back to my house, then returned my rental vehicle. The car looks great! Thanks to the Thoma team!

Got into an accident damaging the entire passenger side, front and rear bumper and hood of my car. Thoma let me tow it in, when other shops wouldn t! Not only did I get my car back at a surprising fast speed, I could tell they took their time making sure everything was right. I worked with John Schum throughout the process, and he was magnificent. He made sure to not only note all my concerns, but make sure everyone working on the car knew them as well. The man was friendly every time I called in to check up on it! I couldn t recommend this place more if you find yourself in the same situation I was, Thoma will put your mind at ease.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Just had my front bumper and headlight assembly (plus a few extra components) fixed after hitting a deer. There was a miscommunication that caused my repair to be delayed for a significant amount of time, but I m partially at fault for this. Had I been more proactive in following up from the outset it may have been completed sooner. Once the communication issue was resolved the repair went smoothly and quickly. I m very impressed with the quality work done with my vehicle. Just be sure to communicate clearly with the staff and follow up via phone if you must.

Thoma did a great job on my Volvo after I was in a minor accident. My car looks great and they were very helpful in dealing with the insurance company. I highly recommend Thoma Auto Body.

I purchased a new trunk lid for my car and brought my car in to ask for a quote for a color match spray on the new trunk lid. I was quoted $450 by the shop manager and agreed to bring it back the next day to drop it off. Upon arrival a gentleman comes out to ask what I'm having done and he insists that I was underquoted. He then begins throwing out condescending statements to me about my knowledge of painting cars. I replied that I actually have painted multiple cars and understand the process completely. Tow which he replied, "then why don't you paint it yourself?" I told him I will just take my business elsewhere if he doesn't want the job and he called me a cheap***. I told him that I wanted to speak to his manager and he said he was the OWNER! I calmly told him he should be ashamed of the way he treats customers and he took a breath and agreed. He invited me into his office and said they will honor the original estimate and that his painter is one of the best in the world and makes six figures. I am unsure why he felt the need to tell me that, but after I got the car back, it's clear that the painter was either not that great or was told to do the worst job possible. There are bare spots in multiple places around the edge of the trunk lid and on the lip of it. I guess I will be painting my own car from now on.Service: Painting

Absolutely the WORST vehicle shop I have ever used. The owner was arrogant and cocky, while flaunting about how he made so much money and had this and that. While also admitting on CAMERA he scammed my wife and I. He is CROOK, and a PHONY with bigman syndrome. I cannot believe he is still in business. I would never recommend him to anyone THE WORST person I have ever met in my 42 years of life. He was also bragging about how much money he made and how he is so much better than EVERYONE OF HIS CUSTOMERS. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!Service: Transmission

Really felt good dealing with John. He was open and honest about what he saw and how things would probably go with the insurance. They were quick with my estimate and very accurate.Had them do some work to repair my tailgate and it was excellent work. Would trust them with any of my possible future repairs.

Very good service!! They fixed a 2 ft crease down the upper drivers side rear corner. Sam gave me an estimate and appointment within 15 min. They finished on time. What I loved about their service is I was in and out with no BS. They made it quick and simple. They did a great job repainting it to. You couldn't even tell it was damage. I was charged the same amount I was quoted and happy with their service and they still gave me a $300 2 weeks later. Wow I got great service and money back!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Wayne was fantastic, couldn't have asked for a better advocate when getting repairs on my jeep. Helped me through communicating with my insurance company, and repairing my car after the insurance initially claimed it was totaled. Not only was it not totaled, but they ended up going under budget. Great work and excellent service!

This is my first time using Thoma for auto body work. They were recommended by my insurance company. While it took about a month to my car in, I am completely satisfied. My car was drivable so the wait wasn't an inconvenience. From Shirley at the front desk to Wayne who oversaw the work, everyone was so friendly. They got the work done quickly and made sure my ride was clean upon pick up. They also made me aware of a diagnostic issue that showed up that was unrelated to the body work. Beyond happy with the work they did on my truck. It was all done in a timely manner and finished early. They also kept me up to date on the progress throughout the repair via text messages which was really nice. Truck was cleaned and the office staff were very polite and professional. My family and I have used this business for years because they do great body work. I will never use them again. The office is really disorganized. When I took my vehicle in, I provided copies of the estimate from my insurance, and completed additional paperwork with my own information. I was told it would be three weeks before they could get my vehicle in for service. No problem. I took my vehicle in on the appointment date and they had none of my information. No estimates, nothing. I again filled out paperwork and left my vehicle in their care. I was initially told it would be ready in 3-4 days. I called in 4 days and was then told it would most likely be the end of the following week, and they will update the rental agreement. Again no problem. My problem is, they did not contact me when my vehicle was ready, which caused me to be charged over $200 by the rental company. They did not call me phone, rather the number that was on the insurance policy, even though I filled out additional forms in their office with my information on two occasions. When I called to see why or what they could do, I was just told that they called the number on the policy. I asked what about the form I filled out in their shop, and was basically told oh well by the manager Chris, who was very rude and condescending. I have recommended this shop dozens of times. Never again. If you do use them, call everyday so you don't get overcharged like me because they may not call you when you vehicle is done.Service: Body & Trim

We were very pleased, not only with the quality of their work, but with their personable service. They kept us updated on what was happening, made sure we were satisfied, and stressed that they covered any issues resulting from their work, for the life of the vehicle. Good folks!

They aligned the doors on my son's truck. Did an amazing job. Everyone that I met there, which was 4 people, were so nice. Made me feel welcome. These people have a great heart as well! Will definitely use them for all my auto body needs. Would recommend them to anyone!

Customer service is great from the office. The body work looks great from about 15 feet away...other than that not bad.. probably wouldn't go back though..they replaced passenger side front fender and painted door...paint on door looks like orange peel...door still rubs fender and doesn't line up.

I cannot say enough good things about this shop!. My son was involved in an accident and I didn t know where to have the car towed since we live out of state. I researched body shops on the internet and found good ratings for Thoma auto body so decided to tow the car there. I am so happy I found this shop. Being out of state, it is really difficult to deal with a claim, but Wayne was so professional and helped me every step of the way. He took time to explain what was going on and was always available from my phone call. He was very kind and patient. Every time I called, anyone that answered the phone was very professional and helpful. You don t find that many places that treat people with such respect. More than impressed with Thoma, I had and insurance claim and a self pay repair at the same time, They handled all the insurance claim and used factory parts. Paint finish was spot on looks factory. My husband got his car repaired here after a wreck. He went to three different places around Dayton, and this was his choice. The quote was the same as some larger chains, and their reviews were good. They worked with him when we wanted to get his own parts to save money. Kyle in the front even gave him a ride home! Great customer service, and the car looks good. We would recommend this place to anyone.

I just picked up my car today and they did an amazing job! They made me feel at ease, dealt with the supplements from my insurance on their own, and did a great job explaining everything to me. Sometimes, as a young woman, in situations like these I feel looked down upon and treated as if I am not an adult. At Thoma, I didn't feel like that at all! Thank you Thoma for the great experience!

I took my car to Thoma's for some minor body work after searching for a body shop on Google, being new to the area and not knowing where to go. From the first visit to get an estimate they were the most professional and efficient, and truly made me feel like a celebrity in the way that they treated me. They do and excellent job and truly stand behind their work!! I will recommend them to everyone I know!

At first, I was very impressed with Thoma Auto Body. my vehicle had been hit in the front and rear, and so it needed a whole new body kit put on it. I have been customizing my vehicles for years, and Thoma knew that it wouldn't be stock parts going back on the car. American Family insurance (my insurance) and Thoma, took forever to finally get the claim pushed through and a check sent out to me. Once I received the check, I ordered the new body kit since I knew the claim was processed. 3 weeks after ordering the bodykit, I get a call from Thoma telling me that I have to come pick up my car or pay them $25/day for storage.Well, after going and picking up my car this morning from Thoma and having a decent talk with both Kyle and the owner - it seems my insurance company is the one who dragged their feet. Either way, my car has been sitting for 3 months and isn t fixed. The owner gave the wife and I both t-shirts as a way to say he was sorry which was nice. I know Thoma does good work but unfortunately it won t be done to my vehicle.

Our Company has always used Thoma on our service vans and have never questioned any changes by them, I never really knew why we didn't ever get estimates from other shops but today I found out why our company trusts Thoma so much.Today I took a van in with a problem with the door not operating properly I was quoted 75 to 100 dollars which I felt was very fair, I got a call a few hours later informing me that the repair was done and if was free! I don't think you can find a more honest and reputable body shop in Dayton

Robbin the receptionist was exceptional. Kind, prompt, thorough and helpful. I was rear ended by an uninsured driver and they gave me an accurate quote within minutes. We will be using them for our autobody services. They came recommended to us by Webers Automotive whom I also recommend.

Top Notch Facility. The man and employee who helped me and my wife with our Mercedes we're super nice, and very accommodation. If I wasn't leaving Dayton today for good, this place would be my fix it shop. C'mon in to Thomas, they will treat you right.
