I ve been calling since they supposedly open up at 9a But it s now 11:30 in the phone voicemail whatever keep saying y all are close. Then proceeds to tell me your business hours are from 9 to 5. What s going on from 9-11:30 to where they can t answer the phone. And keep referring me to the website, I m trying to talk to a real person. skept (edit: after reading other comments just from three months ago to now It s looking like they have terrible customer service. No one answers the phone. Walking in the store they re very rude, will have you waiting for no reason and overcharged you from the first price they told you in the beginning. ) Get it together. People got places to be n stuff to get done

Horrible experience! They actually locked us in! Not sure why there isn't an announcement or check of the yard. Employees were rude especially Ashley who treated us with no manners and took no responsibility for anything but had no problems over charging from the posted prices for several parts. So after the response I have attempted to call the number I was given below but cannot get a human on the line for NOTHING! So now I've wasted even more of my life sending emails and sitting on hold to never get to speak with anyone about this situation. Smh very poor business practices

The lady that buys the cars at thislocation is rude, refuses to ask anyone to assist a customer, and even though they have fork trucks strong enough to move trucks, I was told to use my dolly to put it where they want it and unload in the rain. Then she cuts the price below $300!

You can get refurbished parts a hell of alot cheaper but you have to wait a few days to get it but still the prices they ask are almost new part prices

When I took my core back the cashier was rude and not courteous. He sent me to another register and that guy took a customer ahead of me with a large purchase.Very rude! I should have been taken first because I was there first and my transaction was quicker. I'm white and both clerks are black. by the way that I was treated I feel that they are both racist. I observed their treatment of the black customers and I was treated completely different. I ask the management to talk to their employees and train them on good quality customer service for all races!

Terrible experience selling a car to them. Told them what happened and what was wrong with the car, answered all their questions about the body damage. They said we'll be there between 1-3pm. We wait. Then call us at 3:15 and say that the quote says no body damage, correct ? uh no!.. we told the lady on the phone what happened to it, and then repeated the same thing to the new person on the phone. They then drop the $$ by half and say they can't give us an updated time, just stay home and wait by the phone ... So we've been sitting here all day waiting for them and expected and certain amount and now they're really late and only giving us half the money they promised. Terrible experience. Train your people on the phone better so they give people the correct information.

It's an ocean of cars. They had just about every vehicle imaginable. You could even get a printout of locations on the vehicle your looking for. The only problem is not knowing if the part you need is still there or in working condition, but that's the risk you take for trying to be cheap and not just paying an arm and a leg for a brand new part from the manufacturer. Good luck picking your part!!

Have been here many times. Use the website to find the car(s) you are looking for before you go in. Pics of the cars on the Dayton website are taken when they first come in before they hit the yard. Date the car entered the yard is posted on the website.Rows are clearly marked and yard is divided into sections (GM / Ford / Dodge / Import / Truck.). Prices are reasonable for the most part. Hard to find / desirable parts on desirable cars tend to be gone quickly once a car hits the yard so if you need it, do not wait too long. Bring any tools you need with you.

Went to the Dayton location on 1/1/2023 around 11am. Both of the employees at the counter were friendly and helpful. A map of the lot with the row numbers would be very helpful. Maybe they have it available but I didn't ask for it. Realistically, don't expect much if you're looking for a seats unless the car has only been there for days or perhaps a few weeks.

You can get parts and a lot more for less the price of brand new. Download their site app, fill out your information. When they have the vehicle you are looking for come in, it sends you a text of the vehicle with pictures

I drove there 4 hours and back 4 hours. They listed a car the night before and I went there the next morning. I was the second person there that morning. When I saw the car all of the front was missing, even though it was listed differently. But it seemed like the front was missing for over a week, there was rust and dust in the missing spots. If it was recently removed it would be clean. I went to talk to the people who worked there about it the guy just looked at me and acted dumb. All he said was I'm sorry and that they just listed the car, when I asked where all the parts were. Clearly he knew what was up with the car but was trying to act clueless. After I went out a guy stopped me, he told me he lived near this LKQ and that he was the first one here that morning. He told me he also was there for the same car and that he noticed the same thing. He told me that they do this all the time. When you take parts you have to tell them which part and from which part you took it from. But all LKQ tell you that they don't keep the records, that's very shady. Every junkyard in the u.s, when you call them and ask about parts they tell you if they have it. They don't waste your time. LKQ doesn't do that, they put all the sales in their system but never tell you if they don't have it in stock anymore. Plus on top if that they have a 3$ entrance fee, so you waste your time and waste money.

I was just in still in lot. Went to purchase headlight assembly, 2 coils, 1 fuse. She rang total up and came to$ 99.oo dollars. I decided not to get headlight assembly it was $55.oo it's self. ( if you seen condition of lens assembly it was priced way to much ) in all seriousness. So that means I paid $44.oo for 2 used 3.8 liter gm coils. Where is the savings there. New at parts store is $55.00 for both. I paid and was given attitude for the purchase. Then I just stepped outside front door and realized no receipt given or offered. So I go back in to get one and was rudely treated and embarrassed in front of other customers when I asked for one. One employee stated " pay card next time" I could tell the lady was annoyed that I didn't get the lens but it was priced to high for condition. But the humiliation and disrespect for customer and customer service is unbelievable. I really don't won't these coils and want to take my business elsewhere. However since I don't have a receipt and they want to humiliate you, I paid cash so now I'm stuck. Can anybody help me out

LKQ was amazing! My car broke down & died (RIP) 2 windows were busted out before it could be towed. (sigh) LKQ had quoted me on the phone and actually gave me $50 more then the quote, they were super friendly, and helpful in a cruddy time. Definitely would recommend it to anyone who is needing to get a good price for a very huge paperweight of a car.

Avoid this yard at all costs. They charge double what most places charge. After the last few times of going there I thought prices were high so I called around and they are absolutely charging double. Bought a rear ford 8.8 axle they tried to charge me $225 I told them I didn t want the warranty and it was still $185. Most scrapyards charge $100 or less for axles, especially a ford 8.8 that s SUPER common

Pretty decent place, friendly staff. I would add to call around for prices on parts first. More reasonable prices are out there especially on pulled parts, saving you time and money.

I am not a happy customer. I don't like being lied to. I don't like to be scammed or cheated. I have been a consistent customer of lkq for nearly 5 years and have purchased parts from a number of locations. Several staff members at the Dayton location are rude without cause. I believe buinesses should operate in an ethical manner. If you tell a customer something you should honor it. You shouldn't have to make multiple trips and/or talk to multiple employees. I don't want to be told I don't know what I know or don't know what is common sense. I don't like being told not to holler when I'm not hollering and I don't want to be hollered at. I was considering it suing the treatment was that bad.

LKQ is a well put together place with respectable and respectful employees. They answered all my questions being that I was a first-time customer. What I did not like is that I went there for a very simple part, if you can call it a part. I went there for the cover to the spare tire that's in the trunk of my car. What I found was that someone had taken that cover out and used it to lay on the ground so that they would not get their clothes dirty while they were taking parts from another car. What they failed to realize is that every car that comes in there and every part that is on a car is just that, a part of a car that someone may come looking for. In my case, it seemed like a simple part that no one would want, but in fact I just purchased a used car and the spare tire cover was all messed up and I wanted a better looking spare tire cover. Actually the cover also enables you to put cases of water in your trunk or laundry in your trunk or whatever. I just think some people should have more respect. If you want to lay on the ground bring a tarp with you, they only cost $1 at Dollar tree....... But don't use the parts of one car to benefit you while you're looking at another car. It also takes money away from LKQ.

With the current overtaking of another company l wont be back and will be sure to spread the word. Triple the pricing on almost everything is unacceptable. Be sure to shop pick n pull or u part it columbus/cincinnatti.

well funny story is you look on the website for the pricing of the part you need and half the time you can't find the part because it has a different name on the site. so you call the phone number and long story short if you need parts pricing they hang up, if you go into the store its a completely different price if your lucky enough to find it on the website just because they call it something different at the store than on the site.
