I have known Wes for a few years now and would strongly recommend his services. He is very reasonable, accommodating and I am so thankful every time he does quality work on my 2010 Nissan Altima.

Wes is one of the most honest and competent mechanics I have known over my 34 years of driving. He is thorough, fair and does nothing less than excellent work. He serviced our vehicles from 2015-2019, and the repairs included power steering pump replacement, brake pads and rotors replacement, struts replacement, troubleshooting a tricky intermittent engine firing problem - replaced engine coils and spark plugs, and more. He was able to diagnose the problem over the phone, seemed very knowledgeable when it came to cars, more so than other shops in this area. He fixed a spark plug that had a coil pack rubber seal around it stuck in the engine, other shops estimated it at 500-700 to remove it and made it seem like it was such a hassle, even charging up to 150 for a inspection, along with the last shop that worked on my car just last week messed up my brakes while working on it and then they tried charging 40$ to inspect it and then 40 for labor to fix their mistakes, he fixed both issues within 30-45 minutes and charges me a fourth of what everyone else would, very helpful checked out other parts and worked on my car even when he was busy, very respectful and definitely my new mechanic

Wes is the BEST. Our family has been taking our cars to him for years because he is honest and will do whatever it takes to get the car running with the least time and cost involved. Our family has gone to Wes for several years now, and we won't use anyone else. He is highly knowledgeable about all aspects of cars and can often correctly diagnose the issue from our first phone call. He is honest about what needs to be done and how best to do it, and he frequently updates us about progress. Wes goes out of his way to make things right for your vehicle and for you. He has even refused payment for small things or items he couldn't fix, even when he put time into it. A great mechanic; recommend without reservation.

Motor Medic has been taking care of my vehicles for several years now from oil changes to repairing my electric seats. I ve had no problem getting an appointment and he will try to work me in if urgent. He is very reasonably priced and I ve never felt like he has taken advantage of me for unnecessary repairs. I have been going to Wes (the motor medic) for a couple years now. He was recommended by a friend. Motor Medic looks after our 2010 Dodge Caravan and 2014 Ford F-150. He does excellent work and is a straight shooter. He has told me that something needs to be done and he has refused work because he inspected the vehicle and said it wasn't necessary. We recently did the 100,000 mile work on the van which included new timing belt, water pump, and ignition coils and other stuff. I'm sure it would have been twice as much at the dealer. Yesterday he programmed a key fob for me on the spot and then refused payment. Said he doesn't charge for trivial items for good customers. I won't take a vehicle anywhere else as long as he's open. Trustworthy, honest, reliable, dependable these are just a few words to describe Wes Smith, owner of Motor Medic. We have never been treated more fairly by a mechanic who goes out of his way to give service above and beyond what is expected. He inspected a vehicle shipped from California and was thorough and honest. We thought we had all the maintenance history, but after Wes took the vehicle apart for a new timing belt (since it had close to 100,000 miles), he called to tell us it was marked as having been replaced already. We would never have known the difference, but as he said He s not a robber . No truer words have ever been spoken. We wanted to pay for the labor involved, but he refused. He is a rare find in today s world. Being across the country from our young daughter, we worry and the peace of mind Wes gave us to ensure she had a safe mode of transportation is invaluable. Motor medic not only helped my parents with their car issues when we lived in Beavercreek but Wes has helped my wife and I a ton since we've lived near the location on Patterson. He is honest and trustworthy and he always go beyond to make sure we are taken care of with our car needs. (If you've ever been "taken for a ride" by a chainstore shop, you'll really appreciate what this all means!)He is definitely our first choice for whatever we need to have done to our cars!

I started going to Wes for all of our familys' car needs when he was in Beavercreek. He has since moved and it is still worth the drive for us to take our cars to him. He is quick to take care of us, does what he can to keep costs down, and does a quality job. Would highly recommend.

The most honest car shop in Dayton. I have had work done here since 1995 and wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Don't let the looks of the outside stray you away, these guys know what they are doing and will get creative to save you $$$. I've had a older car with a hole in the exhaust that they welded a new piece of metal on instead of replacing ($800 reduced to $150) and a stripped oil pan screw that they spent way too many hours working on to save me several hundred on a replacement pan. They are pretty good about calling you before doing anything. If I ever need work, this is where I go.
