I always try to support local, but sometimes it just takes too long to get your car fixed when doing that. I set an appointment online at Midas on S. Dixie Dr. in Kettering My appointment was for 10 AM. I needed to have my brakes checked, as I could tell the rear brakes were starting to grind. Within 45 minutes they had diagnosed the issue, and they even allowed me to go out into the shop to show me the rear brakes needed work, but the front brakes were good. My car was finished by 2 PM the same day. AND, they honored a coupon code that I found online for $80 off! I would definitely go back to this location.

Driving up from Louisville toward Detroit, my check engine light came on very early in the morning. I lost power. I was definitely in an emergency situation of needing to get my car fixed or find an alternative to get to my destination. Gene and Jesse Put me at the top of the list and rushed the parts in and expedited the repair. Got me out of here in just a few hours. Great team! If there were six stars, I would ve given this a six star rating!

If there's minus I will give it to them.Unfortunately Midas needs to fire all the team at this branch. They are messing up our cars.They don't know what they are doing.Very Very bad staff.I warn all the people not to go there.They intentionally break up parts on your car to sell you new parts and to charge more and more for their labor.Unlike Midas branch on Dorothy lane. They are much better.

DO NOT GO HERE! PLEASE READ! My family owns a transportation business and we have now lost 2 vehicles due to this company. Most recently one of our vans were taken there for a simple oil change, a day later it breaks down. We take it to a more reliable mechanic and they say the oil was bone dry, and there was no oil leak whatsoever. They forgot to put oil into the car. Now Midas denies it wasn't their fault. The car is now totaled. If they can't even do a simple oil change what else could they be doing wrong. This is only one story of a few terrible experiences we have had with them.Sadly we were sometimes forced to use them do to them being quicker than other companies and being open on the weekends, but it is not worth it. Never again. One of our employees even knew people that worked there and they quit because of how mismanaged the company is. You will go in for a simple problem and they will cut your radiator hose so you have to pay more. This company and its manager is immoral and they should be ashamed of themselves. Costing my company thousands. I hope someone reads this and takes my advice. I recommend Kettering Autocare right across the street, family owned and much more reliable. Do yourself a favor.

Was polite, kept me informed what was going on. Answered all questions that was asked and that was before I started driving off the parking lot. As I started driving it, I called and told the technician that my car wasn't driving right. I received a oil change special offer. It's been about a week now. I don't feel comfortable, but I know I have to drive it. I need someone to reheck my balance in the front. It's making some noise since you did the wheel rotation. I will call you to see if I could come in. So skeptical about the service.

This location is amazing. I am an out of state traveler and had car trouble. Dan and Blain took care of my issue and had me on my way. The lobby area was clean, the associates were polite and Dan made my anxiety over car troubles much easier. Thank you guy!!!!Service: TiresService: Tires

Manager Gene & the crew at Midas are the only ones I trust for my car services. They are trustworthy; and as a woman, that is very important to me. I have been going to them for 4 years and they have always given me the best prices and service. I would highly recommend them for your car's maintenance and repair needs.

I believe Gene is the manager of this store, He is very knowledgeable as well and was very lenient with me knowing i don t have much money, I went to a separate Midas for a problem i had with my car and they said it was nothing they could do, he found the problem and got me in and out in 2 hours for two separate fixes. Also the man in a red shirt who ran the computer was very nice a professional, i can t remember his name though

Our experience was not what I expected from such an established company. My Toyota was in twice, late winter, due to a terrible noise. They had my car multiple days each time. Despite me telling Gene, the manager, to please drive the car and resolve the noise, they never did. They replaced front wheel bearings twice and yet the noise was still present. After having spent that money, I felt I had to get the car to the dealership to be checked out. Walker Toyota also replaced the front bearings but realized in the same one-day visit that a rear bearing would be needed. They repaired my car and returned it the same day. Now, having paid two places, I took the receipts to Gene at Midas two weeks ago seeking some compensation for their failure to correctly diagnose and repair my car during their two multi-day opportunities. He said he would talk to his District Manager and hoped to get back to me within days with some sort of compensatory refund. One week to the day, I returned and Gene said he didn't know what I was wanting from the situation and started to argue about having done an oil change. I told him that he knows this is not about the oil change, that Midas had failed, and he said he would take it his District Manager again, stating that he would try to get me some refund on the bearings work. He also agreed when I said that I should not have to keep going in there to get a resolution. It has now been over a week and still no response. I expected better.

Employees were nice but the quality of work was not. I took my car not once but twice to fix a recurring stalling issue. The supposedly fixed the issue but it happened again. The third time my car stalled I went there again. They had my car for 3 weeks and could not properly diagnostic the issue or give my car warranty an estimate on repairs. I had to have my car towed to a different shop.

I was miles from home with a flat tire. This was on Memorial Day weekend, so every place was closing early. I didn't know what to do. We got to Midas right as the place had closed. Eugene was still so empathetic to the situation and gave me a tire to replace the damaged one. I couldn't have been any more relieved. Without his help, I'd have been stranded out of town for 2 more days. Eugene was truly a life saver. A HUGE thanks to him.

The person I spoke to was very kind. I was looking for an inexpensive oil change. I was told I could get a coupon, and my total price would ve under 60.00 for full synthetic oil change. PERFECT

I ve been coming to this location for years because of the convenience of them being close to my home. Definitely wasn t the biggest fan of this location simply because the managers were either rude, the wait time was outrageous or they would do a sloppy job. & with my recent experience I will not be returning Love how the new guy wanted to try & over charge me hoping I didn t know about my vehicle. & love how they do not perform all the tasks that are expected that comes with an oil change. Quick to want to get these cars in & out to take your money but cant even do their jobs correctly. Look around before coming here & make sure you check your vehicle before you leave the lot.Service: Oil change

Had my brakes done, wife got new tires and we both got an oil change. Couldn't believe how quick our services were handled. They did fantastic work and the prices were on point. Highly recommend .Went back today for my own tires and brakes. They had me squared away with great service, top-notch work and fair prices. Another gold star and still highly recommended!

Haven't had any problems from the staff. I have been here three times to have things fixed on my car. All work on my car has held up fine. Had further work done on my exhaust and muffler. I was in and out on under 4 hours.And now for the rest of the story......when I had my Ford serviced for the muffler I had them do an inspection of the brakes, suspension and steering. The next month I had a ball joint actually pop out. When I took it in to be fixed I talked to the manager about the car being inspected a month ago and being told there were no problems. I was told that things wear out and need to be replaced on a regular basis. But in a month? And now I supposedly need tie rod ends, ball joints and the struts replaced. I feel I was ripped off when I had it in to have the exhaust work done and his supposed number one mechanic inspected it. What a load of B.S..

Excellent, these are real good mechanics you can trust. Honest,they will fix only what you need to be done in your car,no extra hidden charges. They are here to help the people with their car problems. I recommend them to everyone. Courteous and professionals.

Manager Gene is a great guy, did a lot of complimentary work for me, tire patching, rotation, checking noise on my tire. really appreciated it! Also took time to check my battery light coming on 15 minutes before closing because we were going to go out of town the next day. The guys at this location are great. They fixed a leaking tire for us at the last minute before they closed. I had taken it to a different location that said they fixed my tire but it was still at 22 PSI. The guys at this Kettering location looked at my tire and within 5 seconds they found the nail in my tire. They fixed it for me free of charge to make it right. Really appreciate them doing this for us. I recommend this location

Today was my first experience with Midas. The manager Allen was absolutely wonderful! He and everyone there worked non stop to get me and the other customers up and running. Allen was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. I will be coming back here again and again and will highly recommend this location. Thank you for a job well done!!!

Love this shop. As a mother of two ( my oldest being 3) I love that my car gets in asap and they show me on my car what's wrong and give me all my options. I've never had a car place do this for me. Only my personal mechanic ever did that. My 3yr old is able to see the effort and kindness they put into their work and now anytime she sees a Midas she says "There's our car shop. They do a good job" . Much love and many thanks to the entire crew!
