Had a low oil pressure light pop on, so I brought my car BACK to the ONLY place that s changed my oil last 3 years.. they tell me I need an oil change (they had just changed it one month prior) and it would cost about $200 just to SEE where I was leaking oil. I pay for o/c, (now this is TWO o/c in TWO months) take my car to my friend he slid under it for 2 secs and told me EXACTLY why it was leaking. 2 days later my other friend takes it to detail it, notices the oil pooling, slides under it for 6 secs and says the EXACT same thing my other friend said! He sent me to get a $12 filter, showed me the gasket in the new one (that comes with it and should ve been replaced twice when Midas changed my oil 2x in 2 months) and the old one which was COMPLETELY flat and worn do ya know my oil hasn t leaked since!! So 2 friends who aren t mechanics laid on the cold ground and diagnosed something in 8 seconds that 3 ASE certified mechanics couldn t verify while standing underneath my car in a warm, well lit bay, doing something I assume they do everyday!! I absolutely loved it here and brought ALL my cars here, like I ve literally been a regular! I came back hoping they d have some integrity and handle the issue, because too often we don t praise for good work, but can t wait to blast for the bad, but they played right in my face. They charged me full price for an oil change and STILL DIDN T replace the gasket that comes with the filter, and instead of just replacing it on this occasion after realizing they hadn t replaced it before they legit wanted to charge me $200 for a TEST to see WHY it was leaking, be careful with them!!

This will be my come to location from now on. My wife s 2019 Murano had a hole in the transmission hose and not only did they fix it but was very informative on further steps. The fact they went the extra mile and was courteous meant a lot. We had to leave the vehicle over night in a Dollar Tree parking lot then pay to get it towed to them and they had us back on the road safely the same day.

Went in for a prescheduled appointment and they easily and quickly identified issues and took pictures to let me know what they saw. They then went to work on immediately fixing these issues and had me out in a little over an hour for a pump replacement. Quick and good, and extremely professional.

Woke up To a nail and my tire called around was quoted 40 plus dollars called Midas. They do free tire repairs. I got the nail removed from my tire tire plugged and was on my way. Michael did a great job. Midas saced me 40 bucks

Great pricing! Experienced mechanics, who were quick and friendly! Before they did any work they explained the problem and worked with me on paying for the repairs! The manager Scott was awesome! Thanks guys!

SCOTT JOHNSON has zero customer skills and was rude from the start. I took my vehicle in for an oil change after scheduling with SCOTT the day before. Almost an hour later, I returned, and SCOTT informed me that they stripped my oil plug, but he ordered a new one. (Why would you order a new plug and not charge me if you're not responsible for damaging the original one?) SCOTT said they rounded it and couldn't get it off, and I would need a new oil pan. He went into the back and had someone pull my vehicle around and hand me my key, and when I asked for paperwork, SCOTT JOHNSON became very defensive and rude. The first thing he said when he came out was, "That's why I don't do nice things for people." They literally turned a simple oil change into a far bigger issue for me. I took my car to MIDAS, and SCOTT JOHNSON returned it, damaged. MIDAS WILL NEVER SEE MY BUSINESS AGAIN.KEVIN MEIDT has no clue how to do his job, I'm sure he'll be looking for a new one soon.AVOID MIDAS AT ALL COST, ZERO ACCOUNTABILITYUPDATE! Took my vehicle to a shop with capable mechanics, and they were able to remove and replace my drain plug with no problem. THANKS FOR NOTHING MIDAS.

Went there today to replace the headlight bulb. Ended up needing the connector replaced also. Both parts were $20 each which wasn't bad but labor ended costing me an additional $130. My car sit in the garage for most of the hour they charged for me for labor. They replaced both the bulb and connector and everything works good, I appreciate it but entirely too much $ in my opinion. And then he asked me to do a survey upon leaving and showed me where to do it but he actually entered in the 5 star rating for me at the counter without even asking... Therefore I had to edit "my" review because don't believe it deserved 5 stars.

Took my hellcat to them for a tire rotation and alignment. Whenever you go to them for repair they drive your car around the corner, I would assume to check for other problems. Well these dudes must ve scraped the bottom of my hellcat so hard they broke a section of the engine shield under the car. These mfs said nothing. Mind you it just got out the shop the day before from a repair. I heard something very loose at 40mph. It fell off. Took it back to the shop I normally go to and they showed me a crazy scratch and missing piece. Midas loss my business completely. Hellcat challengers do not sit low by any means. To do that and think you d get away with it especially since it just came out the shop the day before and hadn t been driven for 2 months before then. Bad business

Scott who works here is rude and unprofessional. He speaks to minorities in a disgusting manner, I observed his behavior with white customers and his attitude was rather polite and respectful. If you choose to bring your vehicle here use discretion and if you can stay with your vehicle and observe your service I would highly suggest you do that.

I called them up for an oil change and alignment wihout an appointment and they told to come right in, gave me a wait time (of an hour and a half) and had me out of there in that exact time frame. For a walk in, without an appointment, that was fast and the service was worth it!

I went here the other day when my tire went flat on the way to work. It was a wonderful experience, Scott was very kind and scheduled me an appointment for right after work. When I went in all I had to do was give him my information & my keys & they went right to work. My tire was patched in a timely manner & did not cost me a thing. While I was waiting I noticed how quickly they were cranking out oil changes. So I guess I know where I will be getting my oil changed next Thanks for everything

My car broke down in the middle of the highway and I was able to get it towed to this location, they were so kind, especially since I was freaking out, they diagnosed my car super quick and was able to replace the parts that needed replacing in one day, I picked it up the next day! She runs good as new! Thank you Midas!!!!

This Midas on North Dixie Dr. With the manager SCOTT JOHNSON are not good . A couple of days ago my son took his vehicles there one car for a leak that he didn t know where it was coming from so they ran test on the vehicle and Scott Johnson call and said it was a leak coming from upper radiator holes and said to replace it was $348.00 He said ok and pick up the vehicle after it was repaired and took the car home 2 days later the same problem leaking took the car back and now Scott Johnson (manager) is saying now it the water pump if he ran test like he said why didn t he know this .. but before we took the car to the Midas in Huber Heights and they ran tests and didn t say the same things that Scott Johnson is saying be careful going there. But now Scott Johnson (manager) is saying he can put at new water pump in for $844.07 After you just took $348.00 from my son like that was ok!!! When that was never what was wrong with the vehicle!!! Now to the next vehicle and all it needed was a new battery and my son took these vehicle up to Midas I was never with him. So I went up to Midas to pick the vehicle up the one that he said (Scott Johnson) that needed a water pump the second time around to ask him some questions Scott Johnson gets mad at me and said just take the vehicle some place else to have it fixes!!! And as I was walking out Scott Johnson said hey how is your Cadillac doing now why would a good honest mechanic manager ask that I really didn t understand that question when I never went up there to drop off any of the vehicles!! Scott Johnson never talk to me about Either vehicle before he had been communicating with my son about the vehicles. I only went there to pick up the vehicle the second time and that s when I ask him some questions . Bad business . fishy!!! No stars Just be careful .. Sad how people are today no honesty Untrustworthy!!!!Service: Auto water leak repair

This is most definitely the best Midas location in the city of Dayton! I ve been here for oil changes, tire issues, and now new brakes and rotors. They re always very professional and willing to help as best as they possibly can. Thank you Midas on Dixie!

Needed an oil changed, arrived right at opening without an appointment on a Friday and was in and out. The technician greeted me with smiles, was very informative on what I needed done, and didn t pressure me into anything. Will be coming back again!!!
