I just bought a 1958 recently. And he's only ever had to even order a couple of parts. He said everything in stock And even more amazing quality of knowledge and professionalism. And just plain friendliness.

Great place to buy VW Parts. They been selling VW off road parts for a lot of years. The annual BugJam is a good place to buy new and used parts so if you are into anything Volkswagon this is a place to be.

The rarest shop in existence. Larry knows his parts and can get you want you need even if your a novice and don't know what that is. I personally took him a set of la wires "though I chose not to use them" he helped me get every part I needed to convert my roters to fit as well as a good explanation of how to get it done amd if I didn't feel confident doing on my own he had someone who could convert the roters for me! Good luck finding that at autozone! Thanks larry!

I have been building a Dune Buggy for over a year and Larry has supplied me all the needed parts to complete the project. His VW knowledge is Vast and he is the most Honest guy in the business. If he doesn't have the part, he will find it for you.

The best vintage VW parts store on the planet! Larry is the most lovable human that exists and he knows literally everything about old Vdubs--I once heard him recite the length & diameter of a bumper screw on a particular model from memory. He has everything a person could ever need for their bug, bus or Thing, and if he doesn't have it in stock he gets it fast.Family owned and operated for almost 40yrs, Larry's Off Road Center is a Dayton legacy run by a local celebrity.

Larry who owns and runs this business is a great guy and is always willing to help. He has been there for 41 years and is one of the only old school VW places around Dayton. He is fair and honest and is always looking to advance the air cooled VW passion. You can't go wrong there if you are looking for a part or want to build a sandrail or dune buggy. It is worth the stop to talk to him if you have questions, because he can steer you in the right direction or know someone that can help.

I have dealt with Larry's Off Road for over 30 years. I had a 65 bug and wanted to make it a Baja bug!!! I got a Baja Kit from Larry's and did the deed!! ...Larry always had whatever I needed and at decent prices!!! The best part is he always seemed to have whatever I needed whenever I needed it!!! The part's from Larry's were always great and put me back on the road agian and the best part was Larry's had anything and everything I needed to make my Baja Bug!! I had it for a couple of years and even though I couldnt afford it most of the time cuz I was not working..... other autoparts places had no clue about VW bugs!!One of the best things about Larry's is that he doesnt just sell the parts ...he uses them himself and cares about each person he serves!!! Old VW's are fading a bit but for over 30 years Larry can always be trusted for advice and parts and as someone who care's about VW's and always serves the customer with a smile and advice!!!!Larry's has a return policy but I have never had to use it cuz they always gave me the right part for my car!!! I'm looking for another car at this time and think it will be a VW and for parts there will only be one place for me to shop!!! "Larry's Off-Road"The most amazing thing about Larry and this place??? I have been to Larry's shows over the years in the Car Shows. I went to the Larry's Off Road VW show, swap meet, and Race. Well, I went to sell at the swap meet and not only did I have to pay to sell I had to pay an entrance fee for both my wife and I. I would not have minded as much if when I called Larry's Off Road and asked how much does it cost to sell at the swap meet they told me one price $25 and when I got there I was told about the extra $30 for an entrance fee. I did not get to enjoy the car show or the race because I was at the swap meet the whole day. What a racket? When I asked why I had to pay an entrance fee above the swap meet fee I was told it cost a lot to put on the show. The swap meet was a waste of time and money for me it was one of the smallest swap meets I have every been to. I'm glad Larry got his money's worth $25 to sell at the swap meet and $30 for my wife and I to sit there all day trying to sell to a small crowd that was more interested in the races that we did not get to even enjoy. He should put on his add Swap meet $50 instead of letting you know when you get there. This is the first time at the swap meet and last time I will go to Larry's off Road show until they make a show for the people and stop charging double.

LOR (as they call it in the streets) is the only place you should go for classic VW, german import, and off-road parts. These guys are super knowledgable, helpful, humorous, and always playing KISS in there for some reason..
