The owner and his staff were super friendly, honest, and professional. They took care of my tire issue and took the time to share how they back their work! Nothing means more than to know how much you care as a customer. It was great to have that as my first experience. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend them to any of my family and friends! Thank you!!

Excellent service. Has helped my fiance out multiple times, sometimes on short notice at the end of the day. Honest, knowledgeable mechanics who don't take shortcuts. Easily one of the best auto shops I have ever visited.

I took my car in and worked with Terry so I could get it checked out before driving 9 hours home. I was skeptical about going there, because I m a teenage girl and I m not from the area. Every time I left the shop he told me to be safe, and that goes a long way. I felt safe going in and out of his shop every single time and it made it a smooth comfortable process. He s been working and running the shop for about 10 years and definitely knows everything, and even slipped me a small deal. Highly recommend going here if you have any problems with your car!

This place is great! We are new to the area and had some unexpected car troubles. We called to get a second option and so glad we did! He made it clear that Midas was trying to rip us off. Terry was so nice and informative. He got us in same day and got the job done fast. He was so kind and helped us without a cost. Very nice place the owner was kind enough to fit me in with his busy schedule to get the nail out of my tire. Everyone was nice and the workers seemed happy to be there and their knowledge of cars make them reliable. I will be going back for any other problems in the future.

Great pricing on safety inspection and multiple exhaust repairs with very fast turnaround time. Excellent feedback from Terry about the state of my 27 year old beater to help me gauge how much longer I can get out of it.

KO automotive is the only place I will ever take my car again. Terry is so kind and honest every time! I have taken my car there many times and every time they do a great job, never try to over sell repair work, and guarantee all the work they do. He is a rare thing in his business....honest and trustworthy!

Firstly, Terry is hands down one of the kindest people I ve had the pleasure of interacting with and from the second I walked through the door, I knew I would be taken care of with precision and respect. As someone who is young, unexperienced, and anxious when it comes to car problems Terry and his team were a blessing to have. They communicated the problems well and did whatever they could to make sure they fixed the problem and made the whole process as smooth as it could be. He even showed me some of the other problems that had came up, to not only educate me, but so I didn t leave empty handed. For as long as I live here in Dayton, I will always be going to him and his team. They are kind, reliable and overall inexpensive for everything I needed done. I wouldn t recommend anywhere else and I can t thank them enough.

I went there to get my car fixed, had no idea what was wrong with it and they figured it out within a day ! And honestly not as expensive as other auto places near me. They also checked my boyfriend s car for free to see if they could find the problem. Very nice people, would recommend 100%

I was charged double what i should have been for my repair. I was desperate and this place is really close to where I live and i needed my car, so I just said sure I will get it here. After my car is repaired I look at the price vs what is normal, and I was charged $900 for a usually max $500 repair. This is outrageous. I don't understand the glowing reviews. Maybe I was screwed over because I was a young woman who showed up by myself, but either way I would not go here ever again.

I ve been bringing my car here for about 2-3 years now. I always get amazing service, quality work, & it s affordable! Mechanics are very thorough. Terry & LT are very personable, but still professional. I definitely trust them. I will continue to bring my car & future cars to them! Had my car hit-and-run and have been going through hell with insurance. I took my car here to see what needed to be fixed. Terry let me keep my car here for a week while we waited for a real answer from insurance. Ultimately I still haven't gotten anything from insurance, so I wasn't able to get my car worked on, but Terry was totally understanding and gave me a list of all the work that needs to be done, free of charge, for whenever we are able to get it done. I know in the future that I can depend on this place.

I went with my boyfriend to get his car fixed and was truly blown away by this place and their customer service. first of all, do not judge a book by its cover. this place worried me a little bit pulling up because of what it looked like outside and the location. but it is truly a godsend! terry! my man! right when we walked in, you could see all of the pictures of his kids on the wall and it shows that he is a proud parent! when we were checking in, terry made sure to ask my boyfriend what name he went by! it made me feel sooo comfortable and accepted there! we left the car their to get looked at and they made it know that they will not work on it until the have verbal consent! amazing!!! and when we got back, this man did not overcharge at all! he actually helped us save money!! which is appreciated because when we are two broke college students, every dollar counts! my boyfriend actually tried to give him more than he he charged because he was just that amazing! everyone there, especially terry, was absolutely amazing and super helpful! i will be taking my car there if i have any car troubles and will be recommending kettering oakwood automotive to anyone i know in the dayton (and beyond) area that is having car troubles! thank you soo much! your kindness and amazing customer service does not go unnoticed!!! you guys are awesome!

Terry and the crew at Kettering Oakwood Automotive are the best around. It s so tough to find a friendly, non-judgemental, honest, and fairly-priced mechanic nowadays. We took two of our vehicles in to the shop - each vehicle was ready for pickup in 24-48 hours. Ok this is too long. Short version. Take your car here! Good, honest mechanics. I know, it's hard to find these days. Ok now the long version. While on my way home from a long day's work. I heard a sound coming from the rear end of my car. I pulled over and saw the one thing no one wants to see. . . A screw! That's right a screw in my rear tire. I don't have time to deal with this. With all the auto shops so close to closing. I pulled in and thought to give this place a try and spoke with Terry. Talk about a night saver! He got me right in without the whole, Hey buddy you need this and this and this. You guys know the run down. Most auto shops do this. Not this place! Talk about some trustful and honest people that work here. I was in and out 15 min tops. I found my new auto shop. Thank you Terry! You got yourself a new customer because of your amazing customer service.

I had a great experience today at the Kettering Oakwood Automotive. I visited to replace my license plate, which had two stuck screws that I couldn't manage to unscrew. The staff at the shop promptly resolved the issue.The service was complimentary. The team was courteous, and the whole process was efficient. I highly recommend their services and will definitely bring my cars here for repairs in the future.

I wouldn t take my car anywhere else. Terry and all of his employees have made me feel at ease every time I come in. No matter how busy they are they always take the time to help me out. Came in today because I had a headlight out it was fixed in just a few minutes and they even checked the oil because I mentioned I was going on a trip.
