I need some work done before we had to take a road trip. After comparing costs at other area garages, I was able to schedule the work the next day and the work was done in the specified time frame. Chris also did a complete check of everything, including tire pressure, filters, and oil pressure. I felt confident being able to travel now. I will definitely use Hudson's again

This is truly a reliable automotive shop. Chris the owner & his team are top notch. They have always been fair, honest, & reliable and go above and beyond to assure top excellent service with a small town feel! I was introduced by a friend to this service provider after a dealer was ripping me off left and right. I highly recommend this place for any and all car service. 5* without a hesitation!

Hudson Automotive went above and beyond to repair our vehicle and get my family back on the road. They got us into the shop immediately, gave us a quote that was several hundred dollars less than competitors, and the owner even offered to give me a ride home so I wouldn't have to walk. Not only was the price much lower than competitors, but they did a full inspection, sent me photographs of everything, AND the owner called me to explain the inspection results AFTER the shop was already closed. Hudson Automotive exceeded all of my expectations by working tirelessly to take care of me and my family; I will definitely be using them for all of my vehicle needs going forward.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Auto tire replacement

Found a nail in a tire that was low and they plugged it for me asap on my lunch hour! Very nice guy who owns the shop!! I would definitely return for any future work needed.

They were able to diagnose and fix a problem quickly. Communicated with me on price and options to fix throughout the process, providing pictures as well. Will def use Hudson s again for any mechanic needs.

Not the cheapest in town but they do a great job. Check everything 100%. Always good to know, they do a job they do it right. Been going for years and will continue.

I ve been taking my cars to Hudson s for over 20 years (started when Mick ran the place). Chris and his team are always professional, knowledgeable and timely. If something needs updating now, they tell me. If it can wait, they tell me that too. I brought my vehicle in for a diagnostic due to noise, they called me the next day and told me it would be over $1000 to fix it, and they said they couldn't show me the problem and I paid them $85 just for them to look at it. I took it to a different mechanic and they said it was just a lose screw and they fixed it the same day in a matter of a half hour (now the vehicle runs fine). I feel taken advantage of bringing it here and now im thinking if they even really diagnosed the vehicle or not or did they just listen to it and took a guess and charged me money for "diagnostic". It seems like more and more mechanics just try to steal your money and take advantage of customers looking for help. Find the one you trust and stick with them. Going to new mechanics will only cost you your first born at times.

Hudson's changed my Honda Odyssey timing belt, serpentine belt, engine oil, and antifreeze in 1 day at a competitive price.I had a good feeling about this place when my goto (Muffler Bros on N. Fairfield) (also fantastic) recommended them.

I have been taking my car to Hudson's for years and I always get great service. Even if something doesn't go right...they will make it right. It only happened 1x but I took my car in for new breaks. Got the new breaks and the next day ..some weird sound was coming from my breaks. I called and talked to Chris..he was like bring it in. I brought my car back and he rode in the car with me..so he could hear it. He heard it as well.. I left the car and they ordered a whole new set of breaks and replaced them all. Some times it's not the shop but a bad product and Chris made it right.Recently I took my car in just for a tire rotation and I explained to Austin that we were down to 1 car so I would have to wait for it. As soon as I got there..Austin took the car in..rotated the tires and was done in about 20 to 30 min. I so appreciated how they took care of me...as it's difficult being down 1 car in a family.They are honest and hard working.Services: Tires, Auto engine tuning, Oil change

Top to bottom outstanding service. Both in the garage and up front. Everyone there is very friendly and will bend over backwards to make sure you leave in a much better situation that when you arrived. The mechanics take the time to actually get greasy and diagnose the problem rather than throw noodles against a wall. Locally owned business that proves their reputation is every bit as good as you hear! My entire family uses Hudson s Automotive and wouldn t trust anywhere else!Service: Engine repair

We choose Hudson's over the dealer, because the dealer can no longer find parts for an older vehicle or don't know how to fix the older vehicle. Hudson's had everything fixed within 2 days. Great work!

Chris called me and said your car is ready. I told him that was the best news I've heard all day. Hudson's Automotive has professional workers that provide great service to our community. This time I got a complete new exhaust system replacement. I wouldn't trust anybody else. They have fully knowledgable personnel. Hudson's is the only place where I take my car for service. They are honest, caring, trustworthy and professional.When I started my car's engine, I expected to hear a loud sound. There was no loud sound or noise coming from the car. Always greeted with a smile and genuine concern for your needs. Service is always quick and reasonable. I have never had to return to correct any errors because there aren't any! I would highly recommend Hudson's Automotive Service to anyone with car repair needs or even simple auto maintenance! Big city service with a small town atmosphere! They treat you like you're part of the family! I'd give them 10 stars if it were an option!

The mechanic I spoke to was very polite and respectful and kind. Honestly I can't remember his name, however I really appreciate him taking time out of his busy afternoon to talk to me and even drive my truck to see if he could hear the noise on the brakes. He certainly did above and beyond, and I really appreciate his kindness and time.

Got my car towed there and as soon as I got there they were able to check it out, gave me a call back letting me know what needed done & the price. They told me it would be about 3 hours of work & that they would give me a call letting me know if that was all that needed done to fix my car. I was able to pick it up the same day it was brought in. I didn t meet anyone other than the owner and woman at the front desk but both were extremely nice & it was great service! Highly recommend them!

Chris got us in and our Honda AC recharge serviced within 2 hours. Enough time for us to take in lunch and have the vehicle waiting on us. AC is now cold and the price was more than reasonable in comparison to some of the overpricing going on right now out there. TL;DR- Good mechanics, fair pricing, quick, and honest.Went to them for A/C compressor replacement, frayed belt, oil change, and a tune-up, all in one trip. Dropped it off Thursday evening and picked it up Tuesday afternoon. Conducted daily checks (except weekends) for updates, they were courteous and professional when I called. During check out Chris allowed me to leave my car in their front lot so I could come back after they closed to pick it up. They also contacted me after closing saying they had accidentally charged me an additional $25 for the A/C core and I could come back tomorrow for a refund if I wanted. After talking to him about another option, I decided store credit would be enough since I will be using them again. Overall great experience and I didn't feel lingering doubt afterwards.

Have been using Hudsons Automotive now for a couple of years. Great service, friendly staff, and most importantly i fully trust them to look out for my best interest. Extremely reasonable prices and reliable care. Many thanks to Chris and his staff for always being there. I won't go anywhere else!

Chris and his team are great! I have had the absolute worst service ever here in Dayton, Ohio when it comes to mechanics!! Chris and his team changed that! He and his team were the absolute best mechanic experience that I have ever had! HONEST! AFFORDABLE! And they go ABOVE AND BEYOND! They offered to pick me and drop me off! They remembered my name every time I came in! And to top it off they even put a little gas in my car! I never take the time to leave reviews on anything but I 100% recommend Hudson s Automotive!

Hudson's did an amazing job on my Volvo! They noticed that a wire to a sensor on the ABS system was broken, and instead of having me replace the whole sensor they fixed the wire for a fraction of the price. Very happy with my first service; will be back again!

Very nice friendly place. I like to talk to Lisa when I go there, she's like a family friend who makes you feel right at home.Chris always tells you what your vehicle needs and if you don't have the money to get what need to be done he let's you know how much it will cost. He is the only one I will let work on my car. Very professional.

Chris and his crew is so helpful! They let you know right off the back, of what you need to do and how they can fix it. They make sure to let you know when your next oil change is due. A very friendly staff. I only trust them with my car I know that he(my car) is in perfect hands.
