This was my first time using this business. I was extremely happy with the service that I received and will definitely return for all my auto repairs. The employees are extremely honest and friendly and were very upfront about needed repairs and extremely competitive rates. Would definitely recommend. Just a heads up that I was informed diagnostic charges would be charged if repairs were not completed there. The mechanics here were some of the best I've ever had the pleasure of working with in my 20 years on the road. They went above and beyond helping me with my Transmission issue and their customer service was outstanding. They will give you a no BS report on what needs fixed on your vehicle without throwing in fluff that other mechanics seem to. I will be coming back to them for as long as I live in the area.Service: Transmission repair

Very bad... After reading the high praises and reviews. I persuaded my son to have his vehicle service there for rear engine repair. A 2011 Ford Fiesta.I paid $1,200 for the repair which took me two months to raise and after they finished the repair. My son told me the vehicle engine & transmission lights turned on the dashboard and the car broke down the next day.I felt like a fool and ashamed for my poor judgement.Service: Engine repair

This is my second time visiting this so called auto service that doesn t want any business. First time I had sent a Dodge 5500 to find out what s wrong with it (to diagnose it) I gave them my pertinent information so they may contact me. I had to call them a week later and had no details on what s wrong.This time I took a f350 there and told them it wasn t getting any heat and had a hard time turning when braking. I dropped it off last Thursday and I called them today around 2pm on Monday and they haven t looked at it. Initially on Wednesday when I called them they acted like no problem we ll take a look at it Thursday morning.This place is so misleading and horrible in customer service. Can t even get them to call me. Both instances I had to call them.

My family has been going here for years! Dale and crew are awesome! They are reasonably priced and super helpful. They always do good work. I've never been disappointed with anything I've had worked on here. Love this place! Won't go anywhere else!

First time there in person. Several conversations on the phone beforehand. With both ..everything--- on phone or in person---friendly, interested in my auto problem and no rush to get the needed information and get me off the phone. A relaxed atmosphere. It was a great business dealing. I have a Mazda 2.5 S so I was definitely worried about my repair but left feeling confident they would change my fuel pump without a problem.

These guys are amazing what they do. They fix my truck before and did a really good job. That's why I brought it back to them again. only vehicle I got had to drop it off was going to walk home and before I could ask the guy behind the counter offered me a ride home. Try to give him gas money when I got home he wouldn't take it. These are good people and an honest place to get your vehicle worked on.

Hendricks Auto Service has serviced both my personal and business vehicles for years. I have always found them to be fair, honest, always professional and extremely reasonable in their pricing. I cannot say enough good things about Hendrick s Auto Service. I was traveling from Chicago and I had an oil leak on my diesel van. Even though they typically do not work on diesel engines, Dale had me come in so that his technician could take a look and see if they could get me back on the road again. He treated me the way I m sure he d hope his daughter or wife would be treated if they were in trouble far from home. This family business really cares about people, and it shows in their outstanding customer service. They gave me the comfort that I d make it home safely and I did! Not professional at all! Took my car to get it checked out. They were supposed to just check underneath my car for damages. For a Insurance claim. They had my car for hours and I called them to see if it was ready, they said yes! They said it would be $95.00. I said I wasn't paying them nothing. I told them I just wanted to make sure there's no damage under my car. So, I guess they just took it upon their selves to charge me for plugging in a sensor. When I got there the mechanic said he unplugged the sensor since I didn't pay them $95.00. you take your car in to be looked at for a claim, they don't call me to get permission to do anything to my car and try to charge me for it. What a scam artist! Think twice before taking your car in to Hendricks Automotive???

I came here with high hopes based on their previous reviews. I was disappointed in the service I received. When I dropped off my vehicle I was told by one of the older gentlemen that they would call me before they did any repairs. To my surprise, the next day I received a call that my vehicle was fixed. Their price was within my budget, but if it wasn't then what would they do? Furthermore, their demeanor just rubbed me the wrong way and they were kind of rude in a joking manner, if that makes any sense. Either way, it's not the way I would treat a customer and will take my business elsewhere regardless of the quality of work done.

Larry is very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed what 2 other repair shops had missed. His experience saved me from what I believe would have been a catastrophic event with my Nissan Drive Shaft Repair. Everyone was very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend. Dropped car off for engine leak. Told head gaskets needed replaced for $1600.00 . I agreed. Got the car back a week later. After sitting in my garage overnight there was a lot of oil on the floor. I called and told them the problem and they had me leave it again. I got the car back a couple weeks later assured it was fixed. Called them again and they said they could not find any leaks. Four months later I took it to Kia of Dayton. They charge me $1200.00 for the same work. It actually didn't leak after they redid Hendricks work.Service: Engine repair

Took 2 weeks to mount and balance tires with an alignment. Charged for alignment that wasn't done. Wouldn't recommend ever. Over Charged, waisted time, lost income.

The guys at Hendricks Auto Service repaired three difficult intermittent problems on my truck that other shops could not fix. They did not give up or turn away these hard problems. I highly recommend this shop because they are very honest and perform great work.

I've been taking by my vehicles to Dale and family for over 25 yrs. I trust them to do the right thing correctly, and charge a fair price. Family-owned, great customer service, highly recommended.

Honest people the wait was longer than expected but they were so straight forward honest and fair priced, well you just cant beat that. So the wait was worth it. it was just a little over a week before they could fix our issue annnnd it was with an 88 Camaro which is kinda hard to work on on school cars. And kinda hard to fund techs who will work on them at fair prices!

They are crooks here. Charged me $600 to replace a part my car didn't even need. Then when that didn't fix my car they said it was the radio so they took out the fuse so the radio wouldn't cause me issues. Turns out the fuse they handed me doesn't even go to my car!! My fuse is still in my car and another mechanic told me they shorted my radio and tried to cover it. They are nothing but thieves who got me for over $800.

weve been going to Hendricks now for 4 years. And I have never been more satisfied with with an auto shop in my life. I've lived in 8 states and travel alot, I've been to countless auto shops across the country. Yet this family owned business is by far the most honest, fair priced and dependable place I have ever brought a vehicle. I now refuse to go anywhere else. Great family, great service, and a pretty good sense of humor to top it off. We consider them part of OUR family now, wether they like it or not :p. Hats off to Hendricks auto service for doing things right for 50+ years. I'm 100% satisfied every time I leave the shop. And congratulations to Mr. Hendricks for his recent man of the year award. You deserve it good sir. Just make sure you share the lime light with the rest of your family. I think you all deserve credit for a job well done.

Service was okay, I dropped my car off at 8am and it wasnt done until next day around 3pm. I was told it'd be ready in 2 and half hours glad I didnt have anywhere important to be. I will definitely will not be returning. It doesn't take 24 hours to change a water pump.

Always have had a great relationship with these people. They do great work and are honest. Great place to take your vehicle if it is giving you problems. You can't go wrong to have them work on your vehicle.
