Had them do clutch and associated parts replacement on my Solstice.While the initial estimate changed, Jeremy took care to thoroughly explain why and even showed me on my vehicle. All of which I understood and agreed too.Also found a coolant leak on my car I wasn't even aware of, which was also fixed.Have no complaints for the amount of work done and the bill. Thanks again to Jeremy and Ray.

Called ahead to get an appointment and the gentleman I spoke with steered me in the right direction on which tires to purchase. Ordered them ahead and had them delivered and put on my Jeep by the next day. He even assured me that they were the right choice by telling me he had them on his truck. Great service. Super fast. Love my new ties!

Had a flat tire & took it to Grismer (on Patterson Blvd). They not only fixed it quickly , they included a reduction in price (due to the roadside warranty from purchasing the tires from Grismer earlier)! The Grismer Team on Patterson Blvd. was professional, quick, considerate & knowledgeable about my situation! So because of all the factors involved, I give these guys a 5 rating!

Today when I left classes at Sinclair they were doing construction right outside the parking garage. Long story short my muffler got ripped off my car due to something they ran across the road. Turns out I wasn't the only one. However, I digress. I drove a short 3 minute drive over to Grismer where the workers were helpful and helped me remove my that was barely hanging on and dragging. Super helpful and nice.

Friendly and fast oil change with appointment. First time there and will be going back again. Clean waiting room with plenty of seating. The person at front desk was very knowledgeable and walked me through pricing and other items I should think about. Not trying to make a sale truly looking out for safety.

Wowsers... What has happened at this location? I'd been going here for over 20-years but took about a one-year break due to moving out of the area. I was recently back on three occasions for service and this location is displaying some issues that lead me to believe it's heading down hill quickly. During my last three visits, very few customers inside; parking lot half full. In the customers' waiting area they removed the cable television channels. How about the free coffee? Also gone (get $1,000 worth of repairs, don't expect a cup of coffee). And how about heat - not heated coffee - heat in the customer's waiting area? It was so cold in there, that I actually had to go out to my vehicle and get my emergency jacket out of the trunk to stay warm (coffee might have been a perk to keep my hands warm). In talking to two of the mechanics, they concurred: This place is going downhill quickly. As for all of their employee ASE certifications on the wall, there use to be about a dozen - - now their are only two ASE certifications and of those two, one of them expired in 2012. Yeah, isn't looking promising...

We always use Grismer Tire on Taywood in Englewood. Fabulous timely service, friendly staff and very reasonable. We had a tire issue on way south of Dayton and stopped at Grismer on Patterson. Again they treated us amazing.. got us right in as we were in hurry and fixed the tire, checked all our tires.

It was my first free oil change, I shared it the guys my concerns on doing to do oil changes so early. They informed me that Kia has a recall again on engines. They also informed me that my axle is getting ready to fall apart. I m thankful to the guys for letting me know and keeping me safe!Thank you Grismer worker s for working

I live in South Carolina now but have trusted Grismer for my car care for decades. I recently came back for a short visit and was pleased to be able to get an oil change and service while I was in town. The ability to use my coupon and low price was a sweet surprise too! Highly recommended.

My car was experiencing some sensor issues that was putting me in low idle mode. Brought my car to Grismer where they ran a diagnostic $175. They determined due to an exterior left light damage there were issues in the computer and that it would need fully repaired. Next day as I'm about to pick up the car, they call and tell me it won't start. It didn't have this issue before, but for another whopping 175 I could pay for a second diagnostic. What did my first 175 pay? I have reached out to corporate and was give a line about all supervisors being in inventory and they would get back to me. 5 days later I'm taking my car somewhere else and making a report to the BBB.

On our way to Alabama we experienced a tire blow out on the hazardous I75 in DAYTON OH. My husband put on the spare and a Dayton police officer advised us to go to Gismer Tire. I m glad we did. We received a warm welcome from a friendly staff person who worked with us in obtaining the correct tire and sending us on our way. I would recommend this establishment.

I get all my tires from grismer. They have treated me like family from the very first time I bought my truck tires. So I decided to keep my car tire business with them also. People are always nice and friendly. I will never go anywhere else.

Awesome service, squeezed me in last minute for an oil change and had it done within the hour of my request. Cute coffee shop across the way to wait at! Grismer called me to let me know my truck was finished :)

I requested a full diagnostic test and they didn t do one. My truck was diagnosed off what I told them I noticed instead of being checked by a professional. I was charged for 30min when my receipt says test started at 8:59 and stopped at 9:06 im already nervous as a woman taking my car to be serviced and this was a perfect example why. I didn t want to leave 1 star being honest

Grismer on Patterson in Dayton always does a nice job and keeps you well informed. Lets you know what is due with respect to miles on vehicle but never pushy. I ve come to trust them with my cars.

I feel like my vehicle was not analyzed properly. There could have been more done to diagnose the problem! The customer service was bad and not friendly. I will not be using Grismer for some time!

Wait want long. Comfortable waiting area.... However, upon getting in my car, there was a horrible stench. Could you guys have put my window down for a minute? That was totally uncalled for. Also, nowhere on my recpt did it say if you checked fluids, air in tires etc... What exactly is included in an oil change ... Nothing???I have to call to find out...

Got one of four complementary oil change after buying Michelin CrossClimate tires! Best all season Michelin tires ever after ~10K miles! Great service by Grismer on Patterson Rd near UD!

Very pleased with the service and the personnel was not pleased with an ASAP service ticket nine and a half hours later thought maybe dropping off at 8:00 a.m. and getting a phone call between 12:00 and 2:00 would be acceptable but no I left their facility at 4:20 p.m. no I was not happy

Terrible, tried to get me to pay 900 dollars for a wheel bearing replacement. Then said I needed my strut replaced. All in all they wanted 2.5k. I then told them I wanted them to do nothing. I went to go pick up my key and the man at the front said "that'll be $150". He said they charge that per hour just to look at the car. I then took it to a reliable shop and they said nothing was wrong with the strut. These guys at Grismer are scam artists. Tried to squeeze 2.5k out of a student and then stole $150 when I declined their services. A shop full of thieves.

I brought my car in because the blower on my heater wasn t working. I could get heat but because the blower was working it would take about 25 minutes for my car to heat up. They said I needed a new blower motor and something else connected with that. $724.00. I had no choice because I need to see to drive so I paid it and they replaced both things. I got in my car and drove to an appointment across town. My car never heated up. I called them the same day and they said to bring it back In which I did. They looked at it and said I now need a thermostat which would be another $400. I have a problem with two things. First, I have a problem, believing that all three things went out at once. Second I have a problem because I was getting heat prior to bringing it in. I just didn t have a blower. Now all the sudden I don t have heat. I really think they re just trying to take a vantage of a woman that doesn t know a lot about cars. I didn t get a fix so $724 later I still don t have heat in my car so that money spent was worthless.

We have used this Grismer in the past and been happy but recently my husband ordered the tires online (paid $700+) and then was charged again at installation (another $700!!). He had to physically visit the shop multiple times (3-4) to get them to make this right. Unacceptable. I m glad $700 is no big deal to them but it s a big deal to families, And having to go out of our way to insist they get this corrected was ridiculous. Shame on them. We ll go elsewhere in the future.

This is the second time that I have dropped my car off at 5:30am and went to pick it up at 3:30pm and had to wait at least an hour for it to get finished. That is poor planning and customer service, we scheduled an appointment on 9-28 for 10-2 to have the tire repaired. Probably a very good chance that Grismer will not be seeing anymore of our business.
