Not your average repair shop. The detailed comprehensive technical inspection and resulting documentation, complete with pics /vids/color-coding sets this shop apart from others. They use good parts and back their work with a warranty. I will do business with them again. They replaced a complete clutch system.

Dixon's Automotive is an amazing company! I was fit into their schedule easily. The technicians were thorough; I say technician vs mechanic because the documentation and thoroughness is amazing. I received a video and paid via phone. The drop off and pickup after hours is well organized and easy. They even had a writing surface in the drop off. The prices were very fair even without the high quality features. This will be my go to shop!

After two other places couldn't fix my car, these guys took the time to really listen, and found a clutch issue for why my car frequently wouldn't start. They take pictures of your car for a report at no charge. Most modern tech savvy auto repair I've ever been to! I was looking for a third opinion, but ended up with a new "spa" for my car, MsDuke, to get really good care to make her last. The service is A+ and their car knowledge is Indy500 quality!

The service was exceptional! Had a few concerns with my vehicle and they quickly addressed all of them. Very helpfull, knowledgeable and friendly staff. I will definitely be using them again in the future with any of my vehicles.

Randy and Zach are great service advisors and kept me informed during the repair process of my C5 Corvette. I was extremely happy that the repair invoice matched up with repair quote. All in all, I am extremely happy with Dixon Automotive as a automotive repair facility.

I was told on phone that the fix for my 2001 Buick regal was 153.00 for them to fix the ignition! Never said anything about a diagnostic until it was already to late, and until I get the vehicle up to the shop. And they look at it, without fixing it charged me 175.00 just to look at it. Then told me 695.00 plus tax to put the starter in. So I buy the starter for the car, walk up there put the starter in only to then have to go to another place for a KEY. The ONLY reason I went there in the first place. I don t think it s fair to say the least. Thank GOD I didn t pay them 695 to put a starter in for them to call me and tell me it s the key immediately after. I don t think it s fair at all for them to charge me for a diagnostic. And I believe I deserve my money back for this service!

The work, which entailed a full inspection, and then several items I knew needed to be done to keep me safe this winter.I received help from Paul, above and beyond my expectations. I didn't know it then, but he owns the business! He helped an older lady who is disabled and has mobility issues.I'll definitely be going back to take care of some other things I couldn't afford to do then!

Taking your car to Dixon s Automotive is an experience like no other. Getting an appointment and the intake is the smoothest, and it feels like you have been there before. They will do a thorough diagnostic and text you information divided into what needs to be fixed from ASAP to CAN BE DONE AT A LATER TIME. They will call you and go through the list in the most honest way possible. If you decide to go through with their suggestions, you will be very satisfied with everything, and guess what?You will tell your friends ., Dixon s Automotive are amazing!!

Friendly & informative. Had them replace the hybrid battery pack in a Lexus CT200h. They got me in and out quickly and did a professional job. Car was put back together well and very clean, just like new. Running great, thank you. Highly recommended

My son is a student at UD. We are from Pittsburgh and have needed auto service a few times and Dixon's service was superior. The were courteous, professional, prompt and services were very fairly priced. I highly recommend and out-of-towners, and locals to implicitly trust these guys. They made mybson and I feel comfortable, explained the needed service and completed the work ASAP. I highly recommend Dixons to all. Yiu made auto headaches much easier to deal with. Had my Jeep Cherokee (ol red I call it) taken here after being stumped on a crank but no start issue. They were able to get it figured out and kept me updated whole way through. Starts and runs every time now. Thanks again.

Here s a post I made on my social media in reference to this shop and it fits their operation to a T: A note to those who work in, own, or run auto repair shops: if you do solid work, are upfront, honest, fair, believe in doing it right the first time, and are willing to take the time to diagnose and fix problems caused by other shops, rest assured your customers will follow you to the ends of the earth. It is so damn rare for a shop to run like that so when people find that you do they aren t going anywhere. Running this way will pay dividends until the end of time and people will just throw all the business they have at you! Another shop we work with messed up pretty bad. To add insult to injury a sister shop closer to us not only refused to fix the problem they treated my wife horribly!! Dixon is truly a family here and is the complete opposite of the above shop. The family owns it, operates it, and treats everyone that works there and is a customer there like family. The owners, their mechanics, and shop manager all are the most caring, honest, knowledgeable, and hard working individuals I ve ever met! I ve been going to them for a while now but I learn more and more why they are my top shop. You tend to learn more about a shop when they are faced with another shops screwup. Dixon spent quite some time diving deep into the car, taking things apart, test driving the car, troubleshooting different ideas, etc and found the problem so that I could take it back to the other shop and get them to fix it under warranty. The crazy part is that wasn t even the reason our car was in their shop! They completed that job and did investigative work on the other problem on top of it!One of the coolest things about this shop (besides the family cat that hangs around) is they take a video camera and visually walk you through what your car looks like inside and out. When they find a problem, they show you what it looks like, explain to you how the part or system is supposed to work, how the problem happened, why and how it needs fixed. You end up basically going to a mini mechanic school by the time they are done explaining the problem. You re then able to make an informed decision on what to do from there. You get a nice detailed inspection report full of pictures and information. Biggest and best thing is they never talk down to you. They realize customers don t always know much about cars. So they try to be a partner in your car care not an aloof mean know-it-all.It s for all these reasons and more that this shop will be getting my wife and I s business for years to come!!!

Dixon has honest guys who do good work at a fair price. When we first gave them a shot, a dealership was trying to charge us to repair something that wasn't broken, and Dixon saved us a ton of money by only repairing the actually broken thing.

Dixon s is the only place we take our cars!! The service is always so amazing. From the customer service and how they treat you, to the way they assess your vehicle and let you know everything that is going on, to how quickly they fix repairs- always the best! Went to Dixon automotive to figure out why I am hearing a rattling sound in my F150. They fixed somethings and charge a little over $1000. Issue still not fixed went back again and this time they told me the sound is coming from the engine bay, the sound was not coming from the part they assumed and replaced. Then try to blame it on the place where I replace engine oil. Not going back again.

I recently called for some repairs while I am on the road traveling for work. From the initial conversation about their ability to look at to assess the damages through the follow up as to what the appropriate repairs would be they were very honest, ethical and professional. During that initial call their expertise and knowledge was obvious from the questions they asked me. They got the vehicle in the bay in a timely manner and were able to complete the repairs properly and for a reasonable price. I definitely recommend for all, especially Diesel owners

It was very clean, and the employees were very kind and understanding. They took the time to explain to me what was wrong with my car and as someone who doesn't know a lot about cars I really appreciated it. It also was very helpful that they took pictures with what was wrong and visually showed you. Candice was very welcoming on the phone and in person. Paul as well when calling and explaining prices. Overall it was one of the best experiences I've had in an auto mechanic shop and will not hesitate to go back in the future. Shop kitty is also a very fun bonus!Services: Wheel alignment, Brake service & repair
