I like this place. They offer scheduled appointments and do the work in a timely manner. Most importantly for me - the balancing work they do is good. So many tire places slop through balancing. I just can't stand the vibration of a poorly balanced car. I won't even set foot in a discount tire after many balancing jobs gone wrong. This place does it right. Friendly staff and reasonable prices too.

Driving thru Dayton last night in the rain and hit a monster pothole on I75. Called these guys and Bill was extremely courteous, professional and extremely swift and helpful! He went to his warehouse and grabbed the tire we needed and was ready to get started on it when we arrived!!! Can t say enough GREAT things about these guys! Thanks Bill!!!!!

Honest, fair-priced. I made an appointment for a flat tire and they were able to help me the next day. I ended up getting 4 new tires because they were necessary. Front desk staff was very helpful and kind!

I will recommend this shop to everyone I know that needs tires. I drive 15+ minutes to go to here because they're that much better than everywhere else. Cheaper prices on tires and much nicer, more respectful staff.Had a flat that needed to be swapped for a new tire fast. They got me in the same day. They went above and beyond by making sure my spare was back in the reservoir in my trunk and all accessories were put back where they belong (including my jack). They leave my car looking really clean.

I work in tech and really like being able to schedule things online. As a result, I've tried twice now to schedule with Grismer online, and twice they've failed to have any record of it and refuse to accommodate their failure. Both times I've immediately driven across the street to this wonderful, kind Goodyear, and been immediately helped, and also charged less than Grismer. I've learned my lesson. Thanks for being there for me when your neighbor has failed me!

I've had my vehicles serviced and repaired here for several years. The customer service is outstanding. They are fair and honest, even when dealing with an old car that could keep them in business by itself. The counter staff is friendly, and the mechanics do great work. My cars are never messy, they don't play with the radio, and it always drives like new when I leave. The location is convenient and has a few good places to eat within walking distance.

We have had a relationship with Carroll Wuertz over decades and I was reminded why again today...they NEVER disappoint! This week, they discovered that my front two tires were nearly bald and were a safety risk...I was in for something unrelated and, needless to say, I was speechless knowing that they probably saved me from a disaster! The counter staff (Bill) and the mechanics were professional, proactive and got me back on the road with complete peace of mind. I can't say thank you enough!! Wholeheartedly recommend this business-these guys are the BEST!!

I never had a problem putting air in my tires I've been back to this establishment 3 � 2 complain that I can't put air in my tires. The last time they told me it's because the air chuck I'm using isn't good enough that I should buy a snap on. Funny thing is I own this car for 3 years before I ever let them touch it and I could use any airchuctk for 3 years Now that I've let them work on it I have to go there to get air in my tires.

I am a new business owner is business involved with driving. When taking a vehicle from a business I used to work for just to get an oil change they took two and a half hours. At $95 an hour you know why they took two and a half hours. As someone who just opened their own business I would never ever take any vehicle to this lazy too talkative bunch of people.The company I worked for was Van Martin. And I personally sat 2 and a half hours. Sorry $92 an hour

Went here for the first time today without an appointment for a tire repair. It was completed in about half an hour for a reasonable price. The salesman was nice, informative and did not try to sell me additional services. I will definitely come here for future needs.

In response to your comments: I own a 2011 Honda Odessey. I physically had to remove the middle row mat to get to the spare tire because there is a button to lock the mat I n. I remember doing it because we couldn t get to the spare tire without it. Your faithful patron verified that he did indeed put the mat back in the car. FYI: my car is parked on the street at my house as is his. We didn t put the mat in the house , I didn t get a car wash where the mats were removed as Andy assumed and I DIDN T leave it in the middle of the road. I believe in privacy but the fact that you re employee refused to help and look is disturbing. I told you I would leave immediately if he could just show me he didn t take it. He refused. It was IN MY CAR when I dropped it off. Someone (not sure who) took the third row mat and put it in the second row. Please explain to me how I drop off a car with 3 - 5 ft mats and end up with only 2?!?! In addition Andy was accommodating and yes you were able to get to my vehicle within 2 hours of dropping it off and not only did I replace the one flat tire, I replace all 4 because I valued your opinion. I even ended up buying 4 new tires for $685. I have no problems with that. However....I am 1000% positive that I did in fact leave 3 mats in my vehicle. I m not profiling anyone...I m trying to understand how one 5 foot mat could disappear under your roof. And yes! I looked around when I got home just to prove to myself I m not crazy!Recommended by a friend. Had a flat tire, friend put spare on so I could get to shop. Had to leave it which is fine but when I picked it up my floor mat was missing. An expensive rubber mat. They had taken my third row rubber mat and put it in the second row over the spare. So I returned and no one seems to know what happened to it. It was there when I dropped it off and it was missing when I picked it up. I even called my friend to verify that he indeed put it back in my car. (My car is parked on the street so I would def notice a 5 ft mat left in the street). In addition one of the workers came into waiting area and said the boss needed to talk to to a driver because he was disrespected . That same worker also had a few choice words for me as he was leaving work. I would say the owners are helpful but the workers- not so much. Especially the agitated employee with the chip on his shoulder.

We have been taking our cars to Carroll Wuertz for several years now- oil changes, tire replacements and car repairs- every time our experience with them is outstanding. Every employee there truly cares about the safety of your car and making sure you are 100% satisfied. They are the most trustworthy company anywhere and I am always recommending them to my friends and family when they are asking for places in regards to car repair. What I truly love about this company (other then their fantastic customer service) is that they treat you like family. Thank you Carroll Wuertz for always taking care of me & my family and making sure we are safe!

I own a 40' diesel powered RV. Just over a year ago I decided to replace all 6 tires. I shopped around and elected to purchase them from Carroll Wuertz. I only put about 5 or 6 thousand miles a year on the coach. I installed a Chinese brand because of the good price which turned out to be a mistake. With just over 7000 miles right steer tire blew on interstate at 65 mph. With my added steering control system I was able to get stopped with no damage at all to my coach. Tire manufacturer refused to make any adjustment claiming there must have been some type of road hazard. I had given up the fight and wrote it off to a tough learning experience. Brian from Carroll Wuertz had informed me of the tire makers decision, but was still fighting the issue behind the scene. I was pleasantly surprised when he called me told me he had convinced them to make an adjustment. He mailed the check out to me. My thanks to Brian and the crew at Carroll Wuertz you will continue to have my business. Ron - Riverside, OH

They were awesome and very kind. Went there with a flat on a company car. The process was a little different than normal and they were patient in explaining to me what needed to be done in regards to the bill. Highly recommend them.

Such honest people. I appreciate how honest they are. We had taken a tire there thinking it had to be fixed. But they looked at it and informed me that it was a quick fix. So the cost wasn't very cheap. Keep up the great job.

Been taking my cars here many years, and have nothing but good things to say about Andy and the crew here. Most importantly, you can trust what they say. Costs seem reasonable. Even though Goodyear is a national organization, there's a great mom & pop feel to this place.

They do not check torque on lug nuts leading to 3 of my studs breaking off and the others needing replaced!, they over charge and don't honor their own warranty!!! My opinion don't go here unless you want over priced service with bad results. They used to be a good tire place and very trust worthy.

I was passing through Dayton on my way to Nashville when I realized one of my tires was loosing air. I went to this shop and was told there was a piece of metal too close to the sidewall for them to safely repair. Because, I had a long distance to go I decided to purchase a new tire. When he told me the price I was in shock, but bit the bullet. When I got back to Canada I realized he had charged me twice as much as I could have purchased the same tire here. Stay away from this ripoff artist.Just called Dayton Tire and Auto and they quoted me a price $100.00 cheaper than these thieves. I'm planning on contacting the better business burough about this.

I can not say enough good things about our experience here. Customer service went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of in our needs and wants for our vehicle. We are new to town and Carroll-Wuertz will now be our go to for all our vehicle needs. Thank you for running a great business!

Paid $509 to change a spare tire for a charter bus this past Saturday. Driver went back to get a wrench and was charged another fee of $225, plus mileage. All for a 10 mile trip. Very disappointing that rates vary for other companies that are more local then those stuck out on the road.Same old story, when you are stuck out on the road, you pay twice. Of course the response will be that we had to make two trips, didn't know what was going on, just cost more, blah ,blah

I had a nail in my tire on December 23, 2021. I went to Grismer Tire, and although they graciously filled my tire with air, they could not help me that day. The representative suggested I buy fix a flat as a solution, and that I could purchase the item at a nearby auto store. Instead, I googled searched the nearest tire store and found Carroll-Wuertz across the street.Carroll-Wuertz was able to help me with a minimal wait. Their staff was kind, attentive and professional. And I was able to enjoy my wait conversing with Morgan (Morg) a life long Carroll-Wuertz client! I will continue to be a patron at Carroll-Wuertz. They earned my respect and custom.I will not be returning to Grismer.

Friendly and honest! Great service and a pretty quick turn around time as well. We will be a repeat customers for sure.Wi-Fi and refreshments available while you wait, very competitive pricing, off street parking, plus is easy to get there, and easy to get in and out. (near UD campus, and near MVH hospital).
