It is nice to find a local independent mechanic shop that is honest and has fair pricing. Everyone I ve met here has been very helpful. My experience with bringing several vehicles in for service has been fantastic, and highly recommend them.

I would highly recommend Bigger Road Automotive to anyone. The staff are extremely professional and trustworthy. They give fair prices and do not attempt to mark up their services. I brought my Honda Accord in to have it serviced for various small issues. Bigger Road Automotive did not charge me because they were simple fixes. The mechanic Ben explained the issues and solutions thoroughly and in layman's terms. I will definitely be bringing my car back whenever I have issues.

Excellent experience with the crew at Bigger Road Automotive!! I was in town from Cleveland and worried about my car. They squeezed me in and I am so grateful. Now I have a place I can trust when I come in town, as I come in town a few times a year!! Thanks everyone!! Paul answers the phone and he will set you up! Thank you Paul!!

Took my car in for suspension diagnostic, guys were very polite, informative, and knowledgeable. They provided me detailed explanation and an estimate. I will definitely be bringing them my vehicles when they need worked on.Update: had to get a battery put in a Dodge Avenger, which is behind a panel in the wheel well. Spoke with someone, was told they could get me in next day. Took it to Bigger Road at 930 am and was on my way home around 1030 am. These guys are the ones to go to!

I have been using Bigger Rd Auto for several years now. our house hold has 5 vehicles to maintain. now matter what problems I have presented they have always managed to fix it and within a good time frame. I drive away each time happy with my repair and feeling like I haven't been taken advantage of. Real good group of people there!

Took my car here, then returned two more times since I was still having the same issues with my vehicle as I did when first taking it in. Well, $1,300.00+ later, and I'm still having the same issue with my car. They did successfully replace a belt, but my car is still overheating. They lost my engine cover, and now the air conditioner isn't working either. I regret ever going anywhere besides Ted's< highly recommend. They do give you a discount here if you pay with cash, which is cool if the problems are actually fixed. Good luck

These guys are the bomb. They are men of few words but they are honest and know how to fix cars. Good prices. Really helped us fix a lemon car that we are reliant on after another shop just made it worse. We are loyal customers now.

The folks at Bigger Rd Auto are the best mechanics around. I have an 80"s classic and it is becoming difficult to find knowledgeable techs/mechanics to work on it. Bigger Rd not only has the know how, they are affordable and courteous.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I had to call several times to receive an estimate for repairs on my engine only to find that the costs were much more exorbitant than necessary. After auditing the estimate, it turns out they were ready to perform far more services to my Chevy than necessary. For instance, Paul claimed I needed a new serpentine belt. However, I did a visual inspection on the serpentine belt beforehand and there wasn't a single crack or fraying edge. Also, they were about to flush my radiator system; only when I requested they not do so (because I had another shop in mind) did they hold off and deduct the cost from the final invoice. Apart from Paul's curt demeanor (he audibly sighed several times and hung up the phone when I was in the middle of asking a question) -- along with the unsolicited products/services that I cancelled just in time -- I haven't experienced any issues with my engine or power steering since taking my Chevy to Bigger Road. Despite the improvements in these systems, I would not recommend this shop to anyone looking to save their time and hard-earned money. If, for whatever reason, someone still chooses this shop after reading my review, I would advise calling for an exact estimate and to know the manufacturer's recommendations for mileage-based maintenance before proceeding with any of Bigger Road Automotive's services.

I came into today to get my car looked at as the check engine light had came on and i had figured that it was going to be something wrong with my turbo. however the mechanic came out and showed me what was wrong and it had something to do with my filter not being sealed properly. He could ve told me I had to change the whole turbo and i wouldn t have known the wiser. The owner of the shop even looked through different places to find the cheapest price and i was in and out within 2 hours for something i thought was going to take a week at least. i highly recommend this place for anybody looking for an honest mechanicServices: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

My husband and I have gone here a couple times and have appreciated the honesty and communication that Bigger Automotive provided when we took their cars there. They were also very fast. Repair was done in a matter of two hours with us not even having an appointment. They were also the least expensive for the services in the area. We were charged about half of what everyone else quoted us. Very thankful we found Bigger Automotive to take our cars to. We recommend them to everyone.

Brand new to the area and Paul and his team did an excellent job replacing my door module and recharging my A/C for a very reasonable price.

Great group of folks. Paul went above and beyond to help me get the best price on parts and the mechanics knocked out a laundry list of repairs before the day was done. Quick and solid service! I will be coming back here from now on for all of my vehicle maintenance needs. Bigger Auto was the only repair facility with the proper equipment to recharge my 2008 Sprinter AC. We were traveling, but the team at Bigger setup an appointment for the next day. They extracted the Freon, measured it and added enough to bring it up to MB specs.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

We ve done business with Bigger road auto before, and by no means cheap either. They have been great with our previous visits. With that being said, our most recent visit will be why we won t return. We have a 2016 SUV with less than 60k miles. We had it towed to bigger for a diagnostic as to why we lost engine power when trying to accelerate after the vehicle started and Idle. They called us with a $2,500 estimate for two solonoides and a timing chain. Red flag. Vehicles don t run or sound fine when a timing chain is involved. We had our vehicle towed to a dealership for another opinion. They called us with the solonoides diagnosis, but said the timing chain was perfectly fine. We will be paying $250.00 for the repair through the dealership. Keep in mind this review was written the same week people were getting the 1,400 stimulus checks, and it is my opinion that they are trying to take advantage of people. Please do your research, and don t be afraid to get another opinion it could save you thousands.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We live in Texas and drove to Ohio. When we got there my truck was leaking radiator fluid. After calling a few places that told me it's be at least 3 days before they could fix it, I called one last place, Bigger Road Automotive. We told him our situation, he told me to bring it right in. Took it in, waited on the part to arrive, he fixed it and we were up and out of there in less than 2 hours. We have not had a problem since then.Drove all the way back to Texas and all over Texas for the past 3 weeks. Not one single problem.A big Texas thanks to the guys at Bigger Road Automotive!!You guys rock!!!

Went there when I was younger with my first car and they always did great work. Brought our Prelude to them and they did a great job too! They're the most honest shop I've found and charge a good price.

Zero rating for this shop! Big changes at Bigger Road Automotive (for the worse) I have been a customer of Bigger Road Automotive for years and was generally pleased with the service and pricing. However that changed in a big way recently. While I was out of town, my sister scheduled a diagnostic appointment for an A/C heating issue on my Grand Marquee she was told it would take 2 days to conduct the diagnostic process. We questioned the extensive time frame but were assured by Paul it was necessary. My sister called on the second day and was told by Paul they were almost finished with the repairs (WHAT???) and the cost is $900! We had not authorized ANY repairs nor were we given a quote. When she stated that was too expensive, Paul asked how much can you afford her reply was $500- he responded OK we will take that and not finish the total repair (which meant no A/C or heat coming out of the vents)SHOCKED, I called and spoke to Paul expressing my concern at the situation, he replied well we could take the part out - unwilling to extend this process I paid his price and inquired about the the cost to finish the job - $30 for part & labor was his response. We were very surprised but relieved at the reduced price-- but it wasn t real. Then began a game of Paul saying he would call us, which he never did. As time went by my sister called inquiring about the part--the resulting responses ranged from we got a used part it didn t work , the part isn t here yet and so on. This went on for weeks! Finally he said they had a part and to come in. My sister parked the car on the street in front of his shop and waited but continued to watch the car which was never moved into the garage. After 2 hrs of waiting Paul told my sister to come to the desk and then the show began. A mechanic came in carrying a part and Paul stated it didn t work so it may be a different problem She inquired when did they attempt to install the part he stated just a few minutes ago (what?!) she stated "how could that happen since the car was never moved to the garage the response was we worked on it in the street now we had entered the Twilight Zone. Paul then stated he would order a new part and would call when it arrived. We never heard from him again.I am flabbergasted at the rude, disrespectful and unprofessional treatment displayed. I can only surmise it was because we wanted a diagnosis and a quote before the work began. The moral of the story is things have changed big time at Bigger Auto!! We will never take another car there and caution is the word for others when considering hiring this shop for auto repairs.

My husband and I have been searching for an honest mechanic for sometime after poor experiences elsewhere and I firmly believe we have found the best one around! We have been there a few times now in the past few months for tires, a tune up, battery replacement and brakes. My car's battery requires the entire tire to be taken off and it was the first repair I needed. I called around all day to find a reasonable price, most garages wanted as much for labor as my battery. He quoted me a much lower price, finished it quickly and maintained this price afterwards. My car also has a odd size of tire, once again local quotes were much higher. I didn't bother calling around anywhere else for my brakes. I've had a issue with my back rear brake afterwards due to a manufacturer defect and he has worked with us to get it fixed, never once tried to sell me or charge me for anything I didn't need. I truly trust and appreciate the honest work this garage does.

The absolute worst customer service around. Paul, the owner, says he will call you back and NEVER does. He will constantly give you the run around and every excuse he can come up with.....even after 5 months! He took full advantage of misquoting and not fixing my vehicle properly. I still have issues with my car that his shop did not fix right. As a female, I feel incredibly misled, mistreated, disrespected and taken advantage of. Consumers be ware of this business and save your time and money and go somewhere else. Worst Experience Ever! If you don't know how to treat people, and run a honest business, one should not be in business.

My 2008 Ford Explorer would not charge. I replaced the alternator and battery myself. Still would not charge, and I ran a number of diagnostics but couldn't find the problem. Took to Bigger Automotive, and they determined the new alternator I installed was working intermittently. Had them install new alternator. Vehicle is fine now. Great service at very reasonable price! I will become a repeat customer!

Took a car here for a used car inspection, the guys at shop we're very helpful and knowledgeable. Car had some issues. Decided not to buy the car I probably saved me a lot of headaches. I need to come back up here and buy these guys lunch. Good to know they're still decent up front people in the world that's filled with so much dishonesty. You guys are great

I took my car over to Bigger Road to get it looked at because the heater wasn't working too well. Paul had an honest assessment of what needed to be done to fix the car's heating system plus he suggested a few things that may need to be done in the future but weren't critical to fix now. The guys at Bigger Road Automotive fixed my car in a very fast manner and were quick to call me back when it was ready. I will be taking my car back there and suggest you work with them too!

Excellent service, honest/reliable people, and great prices. All of my windows were rolled down in my 2014 Nissan altima and they wouldn't go back up. None of my power locks worked either. All Nissan dealerships from Vandalia to Cincinnati couldn't even get me in for one week and no loaner cars available. Bigger road got me in and fixed the car the same day for $125 and all the other estimates I received were closer to $500. I've already recommended them to all my co-workers and I'll definitely be back! Thanks again guys!!

I would definitely not recommend this business to anyone. I took my car in a couple weeks ago to have the oil pressure sensor replaced and while they were working on it, they got my key stuck in the ignition which has never happened in the 6 years I've owned the car. Instead of getting my key out, they told me to call a locksmith and it cost almost 3 times what the actual repair cost. I was laughed at when I called to see if Bigger Road Automotive would reimburse me in any way since the key got stuck while my car was in their hands and ignored when I emailed the owner, so I will be taking my car repair needs to a garage that actually cares about their customers in the future.
