My sister had some coolant leaking from her car. I diagnosed it as the water pump. She brought it to Steve s since my garage is over an hour away. They lied to her, said it was a T-connector and charged her $200+ to replace that. Now her car is still leaking coolant and they finally diagnosed it properly, but want to charge her $600 to make the proper repair. No discount for getting it wrong the first time. No refund. Now I ll spend my weekend replacing her water pump.I wouldn t trust this place to wash my car let alone repair it.

I am very happy with their service and will continue to use them in the future. Steve is honest about what is wrong. I also was told by another business I needed a part to fix my ABS system and they no longer make the part and used part would cost $300 and they weren t sure it was the problem . I took it to Steve s and he fixed a lose wire and it has been working fine.

My cousin had some coolant leaking from her car. She told Steve s Auto that it was most likely the water pump. They lied to her, said it was a T-connector and charged her $200+ to replace that. Six days later she realizes her car is still leaking coolant so she takes it back to Steve s auto. Steve s finally diagnoses it properly, but they want to charge her $600 to make the proper repair. They gave her a 2 year warranty for the coolant leak, yet there s no discount for getting it wrong the first time & no refund. I wouldn t trust this place to wash my car let alone repair it.

Took my Chevy Cruze to the dealership and was quoted $3,800+ for a laundry list of critical repairs, including engine repairs. Went to Steve s on a whim and was told that only one of those repairs was necessary $370. They got the work done in fewer than 5 hours and had us on our way.

It s wild to me how you take your car somewhere to have an issue fixed, they charge you for a repair and tell you it s fixed. You bring it back 6 days later having the same issue (obviously they didn t fix it) and they ask for 600 more dollars to have it fixed. Steve s Auto must get off on ripping people off. No refund, no discount.

They tried charging me $500 to replace a headlight a license plate light and two tire pressure monitor systems. So I told them know I want my car back and then it was $40 to just get my car back off the jack

I have been using Steve s for a long time. I recently paid over $1000 to get my brakes and rotors fixed. Then when I went to go pick up the car, the window was no longer able to roll up and down. They refused to claim any responsibility. This was working just fine when I brought my car in and it didn t happen until it was in their care. Now the only way I can get it fixed is if I pay for another appointment. Don t take your car here unless you want something else to break and pay for it.Services: Tires, Auto maintenance, Battery

I was interested in a used car nearby and wanted to get it checked out by an independent mechanic. I didn't know anyone in Cuyahoga Falls so I did some searching. Found Steve's via great reviews on multiple websites and was able to get the car in and have them check it out. Steve's told me some interesting details about the car that gave me pause and required further conversations with the seller. As a result, I now also have a less than positive opinion about that particular seller. The moral of this story is that Steve's Auto Service didn't know me when I walked in the door but they provided me with great, honest service that potentially saved me a bunch of money. So now, if anyone asked me for a suggestion for a good mechanic in the Cuyahoga Falls area, you can believe I would say Steve's.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection

Came in a few times and won't be back.Brought my car in, they called back with a diagnosis of a valve cover gasket leak and gapped sparkplugs. I declined their service due to price and paid $60 for the diagnostic. I fixed the car myself for $47 (all 4 sparkplugs and the gasket). When I did it, the first and second sparkplugs were torqued like hell, I'm surprised I didn't need to do a heeli coil to re-thread. . The third sparkplug was SO loose that I barely had to twist it out, you'd touch it and it'd wiggle. Plugs were gapped by .005". My air intake hose wasn't even ATTACHED, so outside air and debri could've entered my engine, ruining the engine. Seems to me they got pissed I didn't have them do the service and tried to screw me over. My car shouldn't start stalling after a diagnostic. I'll do $50 and 1 hour of work over $400 any day. Check out G & R, they quoted me $200 before I decided to do it myself. Very friendly guys over there.

Brought my 2003 Honda Odyssey to Steve's Auto Service unscheduled while vacationing from out of state. The catallactic convertor had been cut out/stolen the night before. Steve came up with an option that got us back on the road and we continued our vacation. Thank you Steve and staff for putting us to the front of the line and doing a quality job. I felt confident driving off the parking lot. Thank you for the A1 Customer service! It meant a lot to our family. Ron

The Steve's job was great and prices are reasonable. Yesterday I showed them my Altima 2014 car because of the knocking sound from the rear of car. They replaced the brake calipers but I noticed that the problem doesn't solved, I showed them the car again and they found out that problem was because of the shock absorber bumper. They fix it and they didn't charge me again.

I was looking for an auto repair shop. A coworker of mine mentioned Steve's. I gave Steve's a try and the rest is history. Steve's is my GOTO Auto repair shop. No need to go anywhere else. One less stress in my life. Have a care problem, go to Steve's. My son and daughter also go there now too. Brakes, radiator, engine issues, they expertly handle it. I have no need to look elsewhere. They are fair, communicate well, and treat their customers well. Your time is precious, don't waste it. Go to Steve's for your auto repair needs.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Brakes, Brake service & repair

Steve s is the place. They handled my brakes and changed the oil and my truck stops on a dime! I would recommend them to everyone. We got a few minutes to ask Steve about another vehicle and right out of the gate had an understanding of what we were talking about. Awesome, awesome people.

I truly appreciated the frequent communication and updates I received. My own research on Chevys told me the chirp could be one of many things. Steve s worked through the possibilities without overcharging. In fact my bill was less than I expected (based on what I had read online from others with the problem.) The car was ready and returned the same day. This was one of the best auto mechanic experiences I ve ever had!

Steve's does a fantastic job with true mandrel pipe bending. Took my 2009 Mazda 6 in just to get a more efficient exhaust than the OEM but didn't really know exactly what to get. I knew I didn't want a loud car, just a nice growl from some larger diameter pipes. Steve gave me honest advice. Didn't try to sell me some loud system I didn't want. He just deleted the resonator and ran larger pipe back to the oem mufflers that were still in great shape. Now it sounds great and looks great. Welded nice hangers on and pipes are tucked up perfectly. Truly 5 star quality.

Steve s installed a couple Flowmaster mufflers on my HEMI Charger in the Spring and my car sounds amazing. They did a great job welding it and I can see why his business gets great reviews. Thanks to them I can still be a dad and enjoy my former youth with that familiar Flowmaster sound Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

They say that hindsight is 20/20.I couldn t agree more; that is why I wished that I would have discovered Steve s Auto Service many years ago.Steve s Auto Service (SAS) is truly amazing! After spending thousands of Dollars at the local Ford, Audi, Toyota, and Buick dealerships I soon realized that my vehicles continued to have problems. Moreover, I was furious to find that the local Ford dealership on State Road never used Genuine Ford Motorcraft parts. The cheaply-made part (alternator) failed within 3 weeks after servicing my Ford Taurus.Steve s Auto Service in Cuyahoga Falls found the problems within minutes, called me, explained what happened, and fixed the entire problem correctly the first time. They saved me hundreds of Dollars In fact, my gas mileage on a recent trip to Boston increased by 7 mpg.after they tuned up our Ford. We now take ALL of our cars to Steve s Auto Service.I highly recommend Steve s to everyone in the Greater-Akron and Cleveland area. It is also the friendliest service department in town. The service technicians walked us through all of the repairs with an in-depth explanation of the process.Immediately, you can tell that they really care about quality and affordable pricing. What a breath of fresh air in this day and age when local dealerships and national chain stores are overcharging customers and not fixing the problems promptly.Steve s Auto Service charges about 1/2 as much as the automotive dealers and the national tire and chain stores in our Akron- Cleveland area.Steve s Auto Service is honest, friendly, and technologically advanced for a variety of today s cars. I used to dread fixing our cars -Now Steve s has made it a wonderful and easy experience -
