I needed a few services done for my older Honda. I called H-A and Erica was very friendly while explaining everything; I received a prompt call with an estimate and my vehicle was ready the same day. Not only was the price affordable, the service was quick and friendly. My car sounds better than it ever has, thank you so much!

Took my Accord in for some door handle/locking issues. Great service, preformed in a timely manner. Everything was explained to me, no hidden fees. And a good value. Would recommend.

Would not recommend them for electrical issues. Two misdiagnoses resulting in multiple replacement parts. After the last attempt failed, I was advised to cut my losses and trade the vehicle in. Granted this is a 2016 Honda with less than 75k miles on it. Took it to the local Honda dealer/service dept - they diagnosed a short in a wire and was able to resolve the issue with a diagnostic fee and 1-hour labor.

very bad service, wont do business with this company again. vender's beware guy thinks because his has business is entitled and doesn't have to provide any type of tax exemption form he just assumes you as the vender should sale him tax free items without proper paperwork prior to the purchase. In the 45 year we been in business we have never dealt with a more entitle business owner that feels he above other companies policies just because he a shop owner. maybe next time he will have the proper paperwork ready to provide without having to be asked

I ve had my Acura serviced here multiple times and I ve never experienced anything but honest, excellent work at very fair pricing. Better than servicing at dealerships, this location has great mechanics and low overhead.

I have been going to H-A Specialist for years now. It is the only place I will trust to service my vehicles. Different shops I have been to have occasionally tried to provide me a disservice, by trying to convince me that my brand new brake pads of only 5000 miles old were about to fail. Gregg and his crew are not like that. If your wheel bearing is about to blow out, or something else is about to fail, he will let you know. But he will also help you prioritize what needs done now and what can wait until later, if you need multiple repairs. Either way, he has always made sure that I have a safe vehicle for driving before I leave his shop. Wonderful shop! I know my car is in great hands when I drop it off, and I can't imagine taking it somewhere else. As somebody who has driving anxiety, it's relieving to know I have a mechanic that ensures my car is safe to drive.

Gregg has been working on our cars forever. There is absolutely no reason to take you Honda or Acura anywhere else! I've known Gregg for decades and have had at least 4 cars repaired at his ship. From simple things like oil changes to complete engine swaps, there is absolutely no one more fair and reasonable around. Add to the fact his weekend off is Sunday and Monday, when everyone else takes the standard weekend off! Let's be real here.. when payday is Friday and he can often turn your car around for Saturday giving you the weekend to do the things you need to get done with your car! He's dome work and built several high performance motors over the years too. His experience from a dealer tech turned private business owner is unrivaled. New or old Honda/Acura, he the guy.. Period!!! Don't hesitate! In over 25 years of car services with him and many of friends referred to this shop.... Never have they ever left me feeling slighted, taken advantage of, or neglected. If you're buying a used Honda product, this is where I would take it for pre-purchase advice. I'm amazed at times at hust how quickly he's diagnosed something just by drawing on his experience and skill.Character, integrity, and honesty is what you'll get here.f

Have had the privilege of using this service for years. Honest, dependable service. Stands behind their work. No surprises with pricing after a quote is given. Edit:The owner is delusional in his false claim he started working on our cars in 2019. We learned about the shop when Cuyahoga Falls has a Cooker restaurant. He service out many Honda vans when our 20 something kids were toddlers, including deactivating Honda van doors when the auto open and close sliders stopped functioning. It has been over 20 years. Also, he assumes we only changed oil with him. His lack of accountability is breathtaking.Original review:This review is about loyalty and where it leads. As customers for 20+ years, we faithfully serviced all our Honda cars with Honda Acura Specialists with plans to preserve and extend the life of our latest vehicles, a CR-V, Odyssey, and Pilot.�Three premature belt/chain failures from non-Honda aftermarket parts installed by HAS on their recommendation have cost us over $40,000 within an 11-month time frame. (addl repairs done right elsewhere, lost work, travel to retrieve broken down van n Indiana and trade in with no leverage, shuffle cars and lives while a destroyed car and engine are out of service). A trusted Honda dealership locally has confirmed the latest failure is not Honda parts. All three costly maintenance decisions meant to help us have failed prematurely and Honda Acura Specialists will not show any measure of accountability. As I write this, we are poised to replace the third engine destroyed by HAS' terrible advice re aftermarket parts in our Pilot. Bent valves confirmed this morning. Despite our decades as a customer, and multiple highly reasonable offers of shared expenses, the most accountability the auto shop owner could muster was half off his shoddy labor for his 4-16 hour estimate of time to install a new engine. No empathy. No realization of the disruption or safety concerns.He will NEVER touch a car my kids drive and trust to keep them safe. Additionally, we have safety concerns about the after market parts used in all three cars. So, this review is meant as a public notice of our safety concerns. Two of the three failures occurred on active highways with young drivers at the wheel.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Gregg Swartz of HA Specialist has kept all of our Honda's going for the past 20 years. Gregg is an honest and excellent mechanic. The staff always does a great job of getting your car scheduled and letting you know what needs or doesn't need done. We are glad to have a trustworthy business to take our cars to for service.

Great repair shop that did a great job fixing up my A/C earlier this year. Happy to come back now for an oil change. Reasonable prices, friendly service, thorough work.2022 update: still a great shop, still does great work, still reasonable prices. Just had my brakes done cheaper than the dealer and am happy to have a great, reliable shop this close to home.

Outstanding! I took my Honda in because I needed an o2 sensor replaced and they told me about a few issues they found. At first I was worried but I stopped by and talked to the technician working on my car, Paul. Paul went over everything with me and let me knew of the importance of each needed repair. I had the major items repaired and was very impressed with how quickly the repairs were completed and the quality of work. As soon as I get back from vacation it'll be going back to the for the other recommended service. Great pricing, customer service and work! If you're worried about taking your Honda or Acura in for service, then definitely check these guys out! Thank you again!

I'm glad HA Specialist is back open for business. While it was closed, I had to take my car to another shop to get it fixed and it was awful. It took them six weeks to do a basic repair on my car and the final cost ended up being 30% higher than what I was originally quoted. Don't waste your time and money going elsewhere - stick with Gregg and HA Specialist.

They are trust worthy, and honest mechanics that will explain exactly what is wrong with you car. They communicate your repair options in simple to understand terms. Their quality of work is the best I've ever seen from any mechanic. Their prices are much lower than any dealership pricing I've seen, and their workmanship is at least 10x's better. I am very thankful to have a mechanic close by that I can trust 100%.

This shop is awesome! They've done it all for me for years from alternators to a whole head gasket repair, each repair has been SOLID, no issues with anything they've touched, ever. If you like Hondas for their reliability and are looking for a garage with the same qualities you've found it. Did I mention their prices? They at least 100 bucks cheaper than I'm expecting (comparison shop) EVERY TIME. These guys rock!

Outstanding shop with great customer service. They went above and beyond to help us with our Odyssey and the alternator issue we were having. On top of that they fixed a power steering issue that another shop failed at 3 times! I highly recommend them for any repairs you need. Greg and his team are awesome!

I had a great experience here. Gregg is very straight forward and honest. I took my civic in to get new spark plugs and while it was there he also fixed a vibrating noise the car was making and replaced the battery in my key remote. The service you receive here goes above and beyond. I will definitely be a returning customer!

I am so happy I used H-A Specialist for my recent car repairs. My breaks were bad and I had gone to another well-known (and I thought reputable) service place in the Falls and was told I not only needed the break pads and rotors, but also all 4 calipers at an astounding cost. I came here for a second opinion and they told me none of the calipers were needed and saved me a fortune. I can't thank them enough for being so honest, as I don't know much about cars and must be a prime target to get ripped off by other places. I appreciate the quick and friendly service as well.Service: Brakes

Took my 2006 CR-V here for some major engine service after being referred by a close friend of mine who has been going here for years. I shopped pricing for quite some time at dealerships and other technician shops before I decided to go here. The price was MUCH less than the competitors and the customer service was great. I will only be going here for service on my Hondas from now on.

I've use these guys twice now for some of the more expensive standard maintenance on my Acura TL, and both times the service was substantially cheaper than what the dealer quoted me. Shop was very clean, technicians were knowledgeable and friendly, quality of work was great. Zero unnecessary up selling. This is how to run a successful auto repair business.

We have been using them for a few years. ALWAYS have the most honest, reliable and timely service. They are the reason we choose to buy Honda/Acura (we have both) and the reason we will keep buying them. The owner, Greg took time to explain the service done to my vehicle. (2005 Honda Pilot) He also assisted me in weighing the pros and cons of keeping it. The tech who worked on my Pilot also gave advice. Overall, I am very pleased with the service I received and would recommend them to any other Honda or Acura owner.

These guys are the real deal. They are more than fair. If you drive a Honda or Acura and this place is within an hour from you, get work done there... It's that simple. I took a car there for a pre-sale inspection and Greg (the owner) saved me from purchasing a money-pit by going way above and beyond. He only charged $1/minute for his work and it was by far the best pre-sale inspection I ever had. I was so impressed that even though I live 45 minutes away, I take my car there for everything now. Fair, honest and nice!

This is the only place for Acura's that need maintenance. They are fair and they get your vehicle back to you as fast as possible.I had been taking my car to the dealer for service and while the work was good you know it was pricey. Thank you H&A for being there when I need you.
